I have been working with Mike for more than a decade. Mike is smart, knowledgeable and enabler. I came to him with a shoulder impingement. I was losing hair, eyelashes and eyebrows because the doctor had put me on methotrexate. The doctor believed that it was safe for me to be on that med for the rest of my life (if I had to be) because I was on such a small dose. He had a number of patients on small dose methotrexate for as long as 30 years. So the study could prove that he was right. And when I complained that I still couldn’t lift my arms all the way above my head he sympathized with me that it was okay. “I can’t lift my arms all the way up either! ” He said playfully!
Mike bulletproofed my shoulders, and later, my knees. I got off of that awful medication for good.
That is because Mike understands the movement deeply. He doesn’t just give you some exercises. He doesn’t try to change your body. Mike doesn’t train you, he trains your view, your understanding of your body, how you got there and how you can get out; then you see the change in your body.
Every time I thought I was old Mike proved that it had nothing to do with age! If I told the 20 year-old me what I can do now at 52, I would never believe it.
Mike is my trainer for life.

Mike's a guru. After 4+ decades of wear and tear, I've had some... issues... Mike has solved every one. Including those that multiple trips to PCPs and PT couldn't touch. Eleven stars.
