The menu items, the atmosphere and the service at Trend are wonderful! The owners and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming! The seating is so comfy with multiple options including barstools, sofas, easy chairs, private window seats and traditional tables. My favorite dishes are the various savory quiches and the apple pie a la mode. The warm brownie with vanilla ice cream is ALWAYS delicious! The chai latte is perfect every time. The beautiful art on the walls combined with the live music calendar are an extension of both owners' shared passion for fostering the local arts community. Trend just celebrated its 11th year in business and has become a real treasure to the community.

Great place in the center of Montclair. I love the crepes and their wide selection of teas and smoothies. Nice, quiet environment, where you can sit and work while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Good service and they have also music going on a few night a week.

Favorite coffee shop in Montclair hands down. I love coming here to do work. The coffee is awesome the open mic on Wednesday is always a good time. The food is even better and almost all of their deserts are gluten free/vegan. There is parking in the back if you come by car or street parking.

Atmosphere is also awesome because of their mix matched furniture. They have plenty of outlets everywhere, and they have a very nice clean bathroom.

Nestled in the hustle and bustle of one of Montclair's busiest streets sits a quaint and comfortable little oasis where travelers, sore from their commutes, can sit down, drink a hot cup of coffee and enjoy some comforting pastries. Yes, Trend, has it all when it comes to atmosphere, customer service and accommodation. The workers are friendly and forthcoming, management is stellar and the seats are quite comfortable albeit sparse on busier days. They also tend to play a mix of music from Artist like Paradis & Rüfüs Du Sol which is a very welcome change of pace!

10/10 would certainly visit again for a nice relaxing cup o' joe

Awesome place! The best coffee I've had since I arrived in the United States, and some incredible cakes. Very warm and friendly service.

The chai latte and the baklava 🧡🧡 made my entire life. I think this business is run by turkish family. So the food here is authentic. The chai latte is not overly sweet. $15 spent for an iced latte and chai latte. Overall good place for interviews and meetups and lunch breaks. They do have gluten free options here as well. Only street parking or metered parking available.

Super cute and trendy coffee/tea shop with a lot of options! I’ve been here a few times pre and post COVID. Pre-COVID the place was amazing and luckily nothing has changed post COVID times. Still has the same chill/relaxing atmosphere. It is a great place to work or study or just meet someone for a drink/dessert.
The barista is an absolute sweetheart! She really impressed me when she took the time to ask me about having any allergies before blindly serving me my order. My favorite thing on the menu is the Nutella coffee. It has a unique flavor but really hits the spot every time.

This place is a cozy and family-oriented coffee shop in the heart of downtown Montclair. Their Marcedonian style coconut cake is exotic. We tried the cake, banana & strawberry smoothie, and their homemade crapes. They were wonderful and we’d love to visit this place again sometime. Noted that the smoothie is fruity without additional sweetener, thus, good for health!

Always love stopping by this place!! From the art on the walls to the hand-crafted drinks this place is a must go to anyone visiting Montclair! Will be back soon.

My friends and family had a surprise party for me! The back room was super cozy and roomy enough for everyone! The food spread and selection was amazing AND delicious. Trend was so attentive to me and my guests that the day went perfectly. Everyone had a great time and we were so happy with how it all turned out!! It's our new party place!! 🥳
