Panda Bistro

This spot is right by my house so thought we’d give it a try. For a little cheap Chinese food restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised. The meat quality was great! I’m super picky about Chinese food chicken and this was the real deal;) I had the General Tso combo, my husband had the happy Family, and kids had the teriyaki. Servings are good and the sauces…superb! There was only one wonton in the side that came with the meal but it was a side so no biggie. The interior was pretty cute and clean. The lady taking my order both times was really friendly as well. I hate it when they rush you!

It’s an odd environment to eat in but as far as the takeout experience, it’s fine. Their food has improved over the years to the point it’s the best around for this type of fare. I frequent this place at least once a week (living four blocks away doesn’t hurt). They’re super friendly and quick. They can get really busy at night so prepare accordingly. I hope they see this and know they’re appreciated. 👍🏼 my current favorites are the kung pao chicken and hunan chicken.

Panda Bistro is a bulletproof takeout Chinese restaurant. I’ve been going here for years and I always look forward to the healing properties of their lunch special after a night when I’ve had one too many. They have a soft $20 credit minimum so keep that in mind when ordering. Plan on taking out; they have a few tables but I think the owners/staff are still taking social distancing very seriously and prefer (but don’t mandate) that guests don’t dine in.

The portions are large and the food is very yummy. Prices have gone up recently but it’s still a great value.

Had a good Chinese lunch from here today. Chicken with broccoli was delicious. They are open!

Place is clean, pleasant customer service and food is absolutely amazing. I'm a huge Chinese food guy and their Chinese food is phenomenal.... I highly recommend ordering from them ☺

Five stars because it is the only traditional independent Chinese restaurant in the immediate area. Honestly, the food I have tried from here is pretty mediocre. The pineapple chicken was yummy in a gross kind of way. The noodles really don't come close to my wife's cooking. Everything I have had from here is kind of mushy.

The prices are normal and are not inflated like a lot of places today. The service is polite and fast. No complaints about that. I will try again. I have a feeling I just came on an off day.

Just ordered take out there for the first time. The best Chinese Food I have had in a long time. Vegetables were fresh and fried rice was outstanding. Not greasy. Even the soup was great, egg drop won ton. Highly recommend giving them a try.

So glad they opened again after the flood from hurricane Ida. Great value food ..we absolutely left the wonton soup and the lunch and dinner specials. General Tso chicken and moo goo gai pan are our go tos

This place is insanely good. I’ve lived in most major US cities and this is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had. Stopped here on a whim to drop off packages at the packing store next door (my mom has lived in new hope and lambertville for the past 10 years) sooooo sad I didn’t know about this place sooner. Can’t wait to come back to visit mom.

Excellent food with decent portions whether a full entreé or combo. Pricing and speed of fairly large order pickup is rather quick and done without any mistakes or errors. Definitely recommend and use when in Lambertville area.

The Village Square strip mall in Lambertville has been closed since Aug 29, 2021 due to a flooding event from Hurricane Ida to the basements of the stores. Panda Bistro is one of the occupants of the Village Square group and has been closed since that date.

I have been going to Panda Bistro for years and now am concerned that they are going to re-open ever. None of the Village Square stores have re-opened since 08/29/21, except the Mexican grocery. Please, if owners of Panda Bistro are listening - we miss you!

Addl. update: I have found another chinese restaurant I like, which is Panda House in Milford, NJ. Their cooking is similar to my missing Panda Bistro, which I believe is still closed. But, I happened to mention to Panda House how much I was missing Panda Bistro - and she said she knew the owner of Panda Bistro and that they will be reopening soon.

BIG NEWS: as of Sep 9, 2022 - Panda Bistro is re-opened.

Great food ! Great service. very clean and up to date with regulations. Food was amazing. Tastes like home cooked chinese! Large portions great pricing. Would highly recommend this.

This is a go-to for us. They are very nice and accommodating when we ask for things to be made vegetarian. Lots of food for low price. We will continue to order from here for a long time.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had. Very reasonable prices. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The set and sour chicken is absolutely perfect.
