One of the best places for brunch. Very positive and uplifting atmosphere, great music, extremely delicious food ( can vouch for the mushroom/spinach skillet). Service is quick and seamless. If you go here around after noon, the sun comes in through the window at a nice angle which makes it look very elegant.

Warm coffee shop vibe as laid back as the large variety of people who go there. The mud slinger and French toast were pretty darn good. Yummy matcha latte. VERY popular. Get there early to beat the crowds if you can.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning. There was a small line but it moved very quickly. Had the oat milk horchata latte - was incredible! Also ordered the apple scone (tasty) and the mud slinger breakfast - it was excellent, the black bean chili elevates it. The food/drink was all delicious, the only negative might be that the space is a bit small so tables feel a little tight if you choose to sit indoors (it was cold out!). But still recommend checking out. I will for sure be back.

The food was really good and the vibe was pretty chill. The food came out relatively quick and it really tasted amazing. I got the American breakfast and the potatoes and eggs tasted excellent. I will say, I got a matcha tea chilled, and I didn’t really like the taste of it, and the tea didn’t mix well with the milk so it was very chalky tasting. It wasn’t unbearable, but I wouldn’t order that drink that way again. Nothing to do with restaurant quality though, I just didn’t like the taste of the drink the way I got it. The pic of the tea is when I first got it, and it wasn’t that bad, but when I didn’t drink it so fast, the tea and the milk separated.

The food was okay. I wasn’t blown away, but I wasn’t disappointed. The prices are reasonable, and the coffee was really good.

I like the atmosphere it was very relaxing, and reminded me of those cute coffee shops you see in movies.

I would go back for sure.

The spinach and mushroom hash was everything!! I absolutely loved that and it was my first time trying dirty chai!! It was so good! Easy 10! I’m definitely going back!

Nice restaurant with individual and shared tables. Good service and food, the portions are filling.
There's a table with extra spoons, napkins, salt and takeout boxes, self-serve.

Mud House is a great neighborhood staple on Cherokee. The oat milk horchata cold brew is something I return to time and again, and I love the funky spin on typical coffeehouse fare here. The bacon scones give me life, and the seasonal gingerbread is the best I've ever had. Hands down.

I am a bit of an Iced Mocha hunter. Weekend disc golf trips to towns all over the Midwest means I've tried lots of Iced Mocha and the one at Mud House is probably in the Top 3 of what I've had in terms of consistency and the flavor. Not too much Mocha flavor, excellent latte with whole milk. Hits the spot.

Also, the Bacon Cheddar Scone is amazing. My wife is going to try and reverse engineer it so I can them at home sometime since they sell out.

Side note. Most of the bake goods sell out on Saturdays by 11am.

Best Iced Mocha I've had is at Camp4Coffee in Crested Butte Colorado.

Stopped in here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised!! The French toast was beyond good and more than anything: reasonably priced.

Idk what kind of bread they use for the French Toast, but it’s perfect! I enjoyed it along with my Iced Black Tea. I will definitely be coming back.

Great place for a quick bite or to chill for a little bit. Quaint area with very friendly people, and truly is one of the best breakfast joints in STL.

Great place we really enjoyed eating at on our visit to St. Louis. The food had great flavor, coffee was delicious, and their pastries were definitely worth trying. A little on the pricey side, but in my opinion definitely worth stopping by.

My complaint was that we stopped by a second time before heading out and ordered the exact same dish. After getting the dish, there were several noticeable differences compared to our first visit a 3 days before. Scrambled eggs instead of fried, no toast and jam, and way more potatoes than mushrooms in our hash dish. Still had great flavor! After asking the staff, all they said was there had been a change in management. It was just kind of odd, seeing as the breakfast is pricey and toast & jam costs you almost nothing. We also had to argue with another staff member about our pastry - it never came out with the order, and she insisted we didn't pay for one.

This is a cute place for breakfast or brunch. The muddy Mary was delicious, and there was limited seating, so getting there around 10 am was perfect. Best French toast in St. Louis. Will definitely return!!!

I have been on a veggies and eggs craze lately. They didn't have anything on the menu. I asked if they could put some on the spinach and mushroom hash. Thought I would get your typical eggs breakfast. This was delicious!!! I haven't had such a flavorful breakfast in a minute. So glad the owner of the airbnb I stayed at recommended the Mud House for breakfast. My first time in St. Louis and the food.. yum!

A very cute breakfast/ coffee spot in the heart of Cherokee street. Lots of options for food and coffee perfect for a morning with friends or to cure your hangover from the night before! A cute shop to post up with some work as well.

Super tasty food that's really well made. You can tell they care about what they serve. I really enjoyed the sammich and the mimosa with pineapple juice. It does get busy but they do a good job of working quickly.

Friendly, relaxed neighborhood café with excellent coffee drinks (oat milk available) and food that tastes homemade. We had the Mudslinger and the Spinach-Mushroom Hash. Both tasty and wholesome.

I had the Berry Grilled cheese and lavender lemonade - both were absolutely delicious.

The unique flavor profiles blended perfectly to make a delicious meal.

Cool and cozy coffee shop on Cherokee Street. The coffee is top notch with plenty of house specials to strike your fancy. They have a great menu of hot foods and desserts. This is a great place to chill out and talk or get some work done.
