This restaurant is located in a beautiful stone building filled with delicious food & kind staff. We went in on the weekend for brunch & were not disappointed. We were sat quickly because we had a restvation. The waitress came over promptly to greet us & take our order
Everything we got go eat was so good & the food came out quickly. The stone in the room we sat in was stunning. I love a building rich with history. We will for sure be back.

There is limited parking in front, but if you look just across the street you'll find a much bigger lot that you can park in. Prices are reasonable & serving sizes are perfect.

This was our first time here. Beautiful old building from the early 1800’s. We sat in the tavern for brunch. Atmosphere was fun and comfortable. Food was incredible. The onion dip didn’t disappoint. The ravioli was fresh and incredible.

Seriously I am a very picky eater.I like good food, and my God this food is absolutely delish!!!!

From the atmosphere to the waiter Rick this will be me and my hubby's spot from now on.

I had the salmon, potatoes and spinach was so good. The bread is delightful with some kind of butter I never had.

All the food is farm raised and the way they season the food is perfect, portions perfect.

Them I had some peach thingy on a biscuit with ice cream...Absolutely fantastic!!!!!

Thank you!!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We ordered a lot of food! Carrot salad, smoked salmon was awesome. I loved the duck entree with corn pudding and tile fish dish. My least favorite was the pastas. E ordered the Basil pesto pasta and bolognese pasta. I want a big fan. Couldn’t taste the goat cheese in basil pasta. Bail was over powering and in bolognese pasta the ricotta was on top and pasta was too salty. If a little cream was added it would have tasted much better. Smoked salmon was awesome, but same issue, there was no need for extra salt on top. I was excited for bread but it too chewy and burnt.
Service was good.

Sergeantsville Inn is a special place—I've been twice with friends and family. Our last visit in the spring was great. We did a wine tasting with Celine at the Ice House, followed by dinner in the restaurant. The servers and sommelier were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the food & wine were superb. We enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar afterwards. The restaurant and bar were both pretty busy for a Sunday night. Very impressed with our experience.

Menu is ever changing and everything we’ve had we have loved. You must try things out of your comfort zone. Cantaloupe appetizer and Duck entree.

The restaurant reopened mid July of 2022 and the service continues being great. They are very attentive and quick at serving. The food was delicious. The stake, hamburger, and rigatoni pasta are my top options. They have prosecco on tab and domestic and international beers and hard cider.

The reviews saying this restaurant is anything less then an impressive, wonderful experience from beginning to end are confusing.
I have been dining here for the past 5 years and it has never ceased to be anything but exceptional. From the moment you are greeted at the door, everyone from the hostess, to the management , the servers , bartenders, and bussers all show profound care for their patrons, expertise, and a depth of service that is felt every visit.
A seasonal ever changing menu keeps things fresh and interesting and the utilization of the areas freshest meat, seafood, and produce puts this restaurant above the rest.
An eclectic spread of carefully crafted flavor combinations , it is impossible to go wrong.
Some personal favorites of mine include the kale Caesar salad, duck poutine over house made fries,(which is only on the tavern menu but can be ordered in the dining room as well) burrata, Campanella pasta tossed with roasted sweet potato, spinach, sage brown butter sauce, and a fresh dollop of goat cheese .
Duck cassoulet, the butchers daily cut with locally foraged mushrooms, sautéed kale, potato terrine, and au jus. A generous portion of pan seared scallops with apple relish and a lemon brown butter sauce. I could keep going , but the bottom line is everything is fantastic here so see for yourself!
If you save room for dessert share a chocolate peanut butter trifle, its the best!

Every room of Sergeantsville provides a different experience. The Tavern has awesome attentive bartenders & tasty bar foods . I would to recommend the honey bbq popcorn & fried pickles to everyone. The library is always my favorite for brunch . Of course , get the biscuits & gravy . For dinner, make a reservation for the dining room! My recommendation for dinner would be to save room for desert & espresso martini! The maple glazed salmon or the scallops are both tied for first in my ratings & if you can’t finish the chocolate peanut butter desert, take . It . Homeeee.

After reading mixed reviews about the Sergeantsville Inn since the new owners took over, I was apprehensive to try it. We used to go often before it changed hands and really enjoyed it. We were with two other couples and all of us enjoyed our meals and the experience. Sarah was an excellent server - pleasant, helpful, attentive. Cocktails were strong, pours were generous for wines by the glass, prices on par with other restaurants in the area. Now for the menu and food. We were in the main dining room and we all thought there were plenty of great choices; in addition, you can order from the tavern menu. You can get the pastas as a half order, which is perfect for a hearty appetizer. The rigatoni and campanelle were delicious. The entrees that our group enjoyed most were the scallops, branzino and steak frites. Desserts sounded delicious but we were all stuffed. Next time -- and there will definitely be a next time soon!

This was our first time here. We came for the blind wine tasting at the Ice House, where they sell very good wines. We then had dinner at the restaurant. Our food was perfect; green gazpacho, fresh made rigatoni with a Bolognese sauce, and the best tea smoked duck I have had in a long time. I highly recommend going to the wine tasting at the Ice House. It's good if you are a wine nerd or just want to explore wines.

This place is gorgeous specially from the inside! We went to a woman's Club dinner event and we all loved the atmosphere, the private area that they provided for our group of 15 people. The food was excellent, unique and fresh. The service was great, very attentive and paying attention of what we needed before we asked. The owner came to our table several times to make sure everyone was happy with everything, he was very nice and patient.
We ALL loved everything about that evening.
I would definitely come back.

Dinner for four on a Tuesday evening, tavern was busy but restaurant rooms were relatively quiet. We ate in the restaurant, service was very good, appetizers and entrees equally delicious. There was an issue with one entree, that should not have happened, but the manager voluntarily removed that entree from our bill which was the right thing to do and was appreciated. Sorry, was busy eating and forgot to take pictures!

Great food and service. Stopped by for brunch. The atmosphere is wonderful in an old historic inn.
