By far the best Italian food I’ve ever had, and I live in a predominantly Italian community. Service was top notch New Jersey, food was incredible, and no matter where you are in the area you need to take the time to drive over here and give em a try.

There was one waitress. It was Monday night that just passed. I wish I remembered her name. She was great. She waited on all the tables and service was fast and she was very sweet. It was my bday and she offered to sing happy birthday to me. I'll definitely be back.

Rudy’s is my favorite local restaurant. The servers and bartenders are always very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious. There’s not one thing in their menu that isn’t excellent. Their homage sauce for the calamari is amazing. You can get mild medium or hot. My go to dish is their baked penne with sausage or the cheesesteak on garlic bread. Rudy’s is also great if you just want to sit down and watch some games at the bar and grab a drink.

Food is always good here enjoyed my Birthday dinner tonight we had the fried calamari, pot of mussels in white wine sauce and grilled chicken over Cesar salad 2 beers and 1soda for under $65.00 every thing was delicious. Oh they are now open on Monday’s 3-10pm as well as all week.

Freshest seafood this side of heaven. Food was superb, excellent service in an old time bar atmosphere. Fun and delicious

Rudy's is a staple in Clifside Park, customer for the past 30 years, never disappointed.
Fried calamari and garlic bread, customer service always friendly. Love the place. Highly recommend it.

Crazy about the calamari! The hot sauce is a base of tomato paste with a wonderful kick of tasty hot red pepper. The sauteed spinach and sauteed broccoli is just delicious. Combine this with the wonderfully witty Tommy at the bar, your hunger and entertainment needs are more than satisfied!

I absolutely recommend this place if you’re in a mood for good quality Italian food. They’ve been open since the 70’ and still in business - that tells you everything !!

This place is a hidden gem, amazing food and the bartenders Sandra and Jennifer are both great at what they do .

Truly a hidden gem! 3rd generation Italian Family owned and operated! Nonna is literally in the kitchen stirring the sauce with the wooden spoon! 😂 The Italian seafood is second to none and every dish I've ever had was excellent! Best "Galamad" ever! BTW I'm 100% Italian soooo......

The place definitely needs some touch up renovations. However, the food is delicious. We tried couple see food items such white bean salad with shrimp, pot of mussels and zuppa de pesce over linguini. Everything tasted great. Also, the place is very small, so you might want to make a reservation for dining room.

Husband and I found this little gem 2 months ago, and have been back several times since. Our fave little spot, everything is so delicious! Don't sleep on this restaurant! Definitely recommend!!!

I’ve been going to Rudy’s for about 40 years. I moved away from Edgewater years ago and when ever i got back Rudy’s is a must stop for me and my family. The best mussels and bread around. Thanks guys.

I love Rudy's. First off their food is amazing. The chef couldn't be any better. Every chance I get to go out to eat that's my place to go. I know you can order and take your food home, but I love the workers there. Rose who is a server is the absolute best! She takes care of everyone and is so friendly. The seafood which is my favorite is what I always get it is amazing there. The dining room which is a little small but it makes it seem more intimate and relaxing. The bar area is always packed which tells you that so many people enjoy being there. If you like seafood I'd recommend the shrimp scampi it is phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable and the portion of food you get is so much I can never finish all of it lol. I always bring food home with me. If you've never tried this place I'd absolutely recommend stopping in for dinner. It's a great place!!

Delicious seafood and pasta. Old family run restaurant with an atmosphere to match. Service can be slow but it’s always friendly.

Good place for a drink and some food. Not quite a dive bar but very much a local hangout. Specials were really delicious and priced well. I finally got back since the pandemic and Rudy's has withstood. The food is still fantastic. The local atmosphere is warm and inviting. Everyone was getting the best Fried Calamari in NJ, a must have dish. Thank goodness Rudy's survived!!!
