as perfect a small-town ice cream shop as it gets. their "I hate chocolate" flavor is the best chocolate ice cream i've had bar none.

Spring is here and it’s time to enjoy Owowcow! An ice cream shop that’s as local as it gets. Charming atmosphere, quality whole ingredients and great flavors.

There is — at rare times — a clinker of a flavor but they get a pass for always keeping the selection fresh with new, fun, interesting choices. We had lavender garden berry and orange vanilla cream. Both were refreshing and delicious.

We also noted that the portions were a bit more generous this year than in the past? Keep up that good work!!

The staff is always happy, patient and serve with a smile.

And to the vegans who were openly complaining about the limited choices for them: please note that you were in a CREAMERY. I’m sure you would be delighted to find numerous delicious vegan frozen treats at Basil Bandwagon, right across the parking lot.

Stopped here after taking a walk on the canal path. It was about 92 degrees out and super humid - but it was extremely comfortable eating inside of this air conditioned building. There wasn’t a lot of seating, but enough space to spread out and enjoy ice cream with friends. Even in a small cup, you can taste two different ice creams. I got a combo of blueberry cobbler and honey lavender. You can tell this is store made ice cream - delicious! My friends had different flavors and gave their treats two thumbs up. They also sell ice cream sandwiches, cookies, and other snacks. Plenty of street parking.

This was the first ice cream place we tried when we first visited the town. There were a lot of different flavors for us to choose from. However, we asked the staff for recommendations. He recommended us the chocolate and the cashews caramel and we ended up with cashew caramel. It was really delicious. It totally blew up our mind. It was one of the best ice creams we've tried. We went back for the second time. We ordered cashew caramel (again) and banana caramel. However, this time cashew caramel might not be that great because it was almost melting even in the fridge. Anyway, it was really good. I totally recommend that people to try it out. Totally worth it.

A must-try local ice cream spot in the neighborhood. Besides the regular flavors, they also have a few seasonals. They're all yummy.
The only minus is parking. There are only 3 spots that belong to the store. Mostly street parking but it's likely impossible at the peak hours. Or you can take the granted of the next parking lot of the market. However, watch out for the authorities and tow/fine so gotta do a quick buy and run.

this is such a cute little ice cream shop! they had some unique flavors available, so I chose a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of the blueberry lavender lemonade sorbet. sounds strange but it was a great combo. I’d definitely come back for more next time I’m in Lambertville.

Absolutely delicious! I recommend the cow flight to get a feel for many flavors - easily shareable. 5 small scoops goes a long way! Husband got the blueberry pie sandwich. It's simple - sugar cookie and vanilla ice cream flavors mostly, but still good.

Suuuuuuper yummy ice cream. If you don’t like rich, creamy, indulgent ice cream, stay far far away from this place. It’s got some awesome flavors, super friendly employees and a very relaxing atmosphere. Street parking and a little parking lot available.

This is my favorite ice cream place in the area. I consider this to be the best of the Owowcow locations, as well.

If you like chocolate, then "I hate chocolate" is the flavor for you. Super rich. The new "I hate cookie dough" is also great, with the same chocolate ice cream but with, you guessed it, cookie dough thrown in. For my money, however, the original is the best.

There's generally a nice variety of flavors available, so all but the most picky of ice cream lovers should find something that suits them. Don't be afraid to ask for samples of some of the more interesting sounding flavors. The staff is always friendly.

The ice cream is a bit pricier than elsewhere, but it's all organic and locally sourced and produced. It's worth it. And they even have non-dairy and vegan flavors available, though they are not nearly as good as the regular stuff.

If you happen to stop by near Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, try to get some of the seasonal "Chocolate covered strawberries". It's the finest of their ice creams, in my opinion.

Best ice cream in all of New Jersey and Pennsylvania! Creative, delicious flavors that change monthly. And the best vibes/staff ever. We even had OWowCow make an Ice Cream Cake which we used as our wedding cake! It was beautifully decorated and our wedding guests LOVED it. It was so good. And they topped it with an ice cream sandwich which was so cool.

Overall - can't recommend this place highly enough. They're really the best. Already craving my next scoop!

This is one of the best spots for ice cream. Tasty flavor innovations, Lemon Lavender anyone? The Lambertville location is a very nice space with lots of light. The staff who work here are very pleasant, courteous and very patient. The people really make the difference here.

Amazing hand crafted ice cream. They work with a local dairy, get their eggs from a local farm and get their honey from a local apiary. The flavors are both subtle and complex and totally imaginative: Cinnamon Bourbon, Toasted Coconut, Honey Cream and my personal favorite - Bee Food - amoung many others. Fun atmoshere with bare brick walls and diner style furniture. Many pints packed to go along with full cane sugar craft sodas.

The best home made ice cream I’ve ever had! They use all local ingredients and change the flavors depends on the different harvest of the fruits. The ice cream is so creamy and you can taste the real fruits!

My favorite is lemon blueberry and ‘I hate chocolate’, a delicious dark chocolate ice cream. My husband loves the cherry vanilla & cookies & cream(on the right in picture). Highly recommend!

I'm from CT, and every time I visit my friend (monthly) we make it a POINT to stop in and get a milkshake- or plain old hard scooped ice cream! So far, they have some awesome seasonal flavors! This is the ONLY ice cream place that I have been to that I don't get sick from their ice cream- so it's an automatic winner in my book! But seriously, it's a cute ice cream shop with limited seating inside (but who doesn't want to stroll down the cute streets of Lamberville and explore the old victorian style homes. My most recent trip was right before Halloween, and wow do they have some really scary (!) & weird, but interesting decor! If you like decorations- of any kind- the old streets down by Cross St. Have some out of this world displays- while the weather is chilly just bring a jacket, and some gloves- & you're good to go with your Owowcow ice cream treats (they won't melt out in the cold duh?!)
Overall: I would rate this a 5/5 - sometimes they do get larger groups so it may take them a little time, but they certainly do their very best to keep things moving right along to the next customer. The atmosphere is very ambient - during the day I imagine they have no problem with light bc they have windows all around the outside- make sure to check out their CHALK BOARD WALL outsids facing the street, where you can sign your name that you've been there or whatever! Will definitely keep visiting every time I come to Lamberville!

I've literally been in another cafe/ice cream shop and hear customers whispering to each other "this looks good but it's no owowcow." Owowcow is authentically sourced and served with passion. Will always come back. The Sweet Pete's Honey Cream is perfect.

Owowcow has the best ice cream that I ever tasted! Because I am a vanilla guy I usually get vanilla, cherry vanilla or cookies & cream. All are fantastic! It is located away from main part of town so it is very relaxing. Love the decor of the shop. They have free water available & clean bathrooms. Always great customer service & the price is not bad. No reason not to enjoy the best ice cream!

Real ingredients make simply the best ice cream in the state. The line is long but moves fast, so don't let that discourage you. They serve almost twenty different flavors, which includes three different kinds of vanilla. Be careful for the Mango with Jalapeño, that has a spicy kick!

Amazing ice cream! Unusual delicious flavors, plenty of vegan options for a broader crowd, cups, cones, chocolate cones, different sized scoops, & pints of the same amazing flavours to take home! The place is also minimalistic & very hip. This is my new favorite ice cream place!

Rose almond was the absolute best out of the 5 flavors we tried! Grapefruit elderberry came in solid 2nd place.

They also have more traditional flavors like vanilla, chocolate, strawberry with funky names.
