5 star the best curry goat anyone who cooks goat knows it's hard to make goat soft. Decent portion for a medium cash only. I'll deff be back. Plantains are also delicious.

Every plate is great. Take home as well with your meal. Beef patty Cocoa Bread with cheese and eat it later. You'll love it. I'm getting one tomorrow.

I recently ordered carry-out from Mobay Caribbean restaurant, and I have to say that my experience was fantastic! The customer service was great, and my food was ready on time. But the real star of the show was the jerk chicken. It was absolutely amazing! The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. I could taste the smoky flavors, and the spices were spot on. It was hands down the best jerk chicken I've ever had.

The sides were just as impressive. The rice and peas were perfectly cooked, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Even the plantains were cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also tried the curry goat, and it was incredible. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the curry sauce had the perfect balance of spices.

Overall, I highly recommend Mobay Caribbean restaurant. The quality of the food is simply amazing, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean cuisine, you won't be disappointed. The jerk chicken alone is worth the visit. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

They have really stepped up their game, I am impressed. I had the oxtails for lunch and it was a bigger pigeo portion served with yam, rice, and plantain and cabbage. The food was deli delicious. I'm so happy i went in there today, my last experience with them was not this good. Hope they keep it up!

I like the food. Some days are better than some. No matter what, I love my Jamaican food because I know how it’ll be cooked. I love the pudding. Very sweet but good. They need to accept card payments. That stops me from going a lot because I hardly carry cash.

I ordered the oxtail stew - dinner size portion here for lunch today while doing my annual doc visit in the neighborhood. They had rice, peas, potato, plantain, and cabbage as accompaniment:):)

It's a nice family restaurant with authentic food. This is a place that has been around since I was a kid growing up in Perth Amboy. It's a gem. The food is always delicious and fresh. Sometimes you will go and they won't have the dish you want available but just ask what's available and they won't disappoint. Their beef patties and coco bread are always on point too. Cash only but I respect that. Local businesses like this need to be supported. Today I tried the ackee and salt fish, and I'm happy I did plenty of food for two people.

I went to the restaurant a couple of times and the food was amazing, and the seasoning was very flavorful. I had curry shrimp and their roti which were perfect and I’d definitely recommend.

We finally found some good Jamaican food in the area, I had Curry goat with rice and peas, wifee had Oxtail with white rice. Very flavorful dishes with some spice. They just gained another customer!

Best Jamaican food around. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Food is very authentic and it is a small family owned restaurant. This is not a sit down restaurant. The beef patties and coco bread is amazing.

I've been eating here for years, no complaints then and definitely no complaints now. I no longer live in Perth Amboy but no matter what it's always worth the travel 😊

Wow took me back for a moment. The taste of spices and veggies all in the right amount of everything. All was extravagant I was honestly high off the satisfaction of stuffing my face with everything on my jerk chicken platter.

The food is deliciously good i don’t bother to cook on Sundays i order my Sunday dinner Saturday put it in refrigerator Sunday dinner is ready a great spot for some good food

I have tried the rest and this is the best. I take public trans. to get my oxtail meal and it's worth it.
