Excellent food and excellent service! Torres is my favorite restaurant. I always have a good experience whether grabbing lunch or getting a large catering order. The staff is always very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Excellent place and wonderful value. With places like this around, burger spots are irrelevant. Great beef stew, fried appetizers, all is excellent. Very nice family run spot. We go all the time. My wife, my kid and I get tons of food for under $20.... Super place!

Excellent as always. Had the pasteles, carne y pollo asado, pollo de horno, arroz amarillo con gandules and habichuelas rojas. Fantastic all of it. The place has been remodeled. No seating at the counter anymore. The food is laid out so u don’t have to read the daily changing menu. They went with a chipotle type counter where u tell the worker all u want as u slide down the counter. Place has less seating now but flooring is new, bathroom is very clean, and place looks festive. Food is impeccable and the best PR place we have found. Pics to prove

Just went this morning 11/30/18. As always it was out of site. The Alcapurria’s were dynamite. The yellow rice with habicuela’s killed. The chuleta’s we’re indescribable. See for yourself

This restaurant is outstanding. The service is extremely friendly and caring but most importantly the food is full of flavor and a true Latin cuisine.

Found this place on tiktok and it didnt disappoint, very good food, great atmosphere, good prices.
If you are in the perth amboy area Torres cafè is a must for awesome puertorican food and picaderas...

Amazing is the only way to describe the party in our tummy. Last minute cater request and everyone came together to make us happy. B ready Torres, our people have your info and they're on their way.

I’ve been to their spot in Perth amboy and loved the food! I put them to the challenge and had them cater my companies Christmas lunch for 140 ppl and man did they show out! From the pernil, meatballs, yuca, and many our dishes, everyone left with a smile and asking for info on how they can order. I will most certainly be ordering and again and visiting the amboy location! Thank you guys for the prompt delivery and excellent quality and more importantly authentic Puerto Rican cuisine!

This is a great place, awesome people and authentic puerto rican home cooking. Amazing food to start of and don’t miss out on the empanadas. Aside from the food this isn’t like eating at your typical restaurant, It’s more like being invited to your tia’s house over for lunch and hanging out with your cousins. If your ever in Jersey pay them a visit you won’t regret it

I ate my food so fast hardly tasted it lol. Bangin. All I can say. Went during the week my son and I and was desperate for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine since my wife passed away and we were not disappointed. Will be back for sure. Keep up the good work Torres and tysm

OMG this was a great find, I was in the area for work, and wanted to go out to eat with a coworker. This restaurant was walking distance, and it did not disappoint. The food was extremely flavorful well seasoned and tasted great. I even got a meal to go to share with my husband when I got home. We went at lunch time. There was a line however it moved quickly. The food was nice and hot as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area

The ladies were wonderful and accommodating...their ready smiles helped to prevent my throwing a tantrum due to the morning porridge being sold out!! So I had to make do with an egg sandwich with all the trimmings...onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pepper ..No Cheese..., then the beef filled ball, and the corn wrapped pork thingy...washed it all down with a piping hot cuppatea!
