I moved out of the area but was back in town for the afternoon so I decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat.

I got the tuna sandwich and it was a good sub. The bread was so soft and fresh and the ingredients were fresh too.

Like other reviews, the woman behind the counter was so friendly and had a great sense of humor. The staff working were so friendly. They call you by your name (after you give a name for your order) and have great customer service.

Other reviewers also noted that the employees weren't wearing masks, however, when I was there all staff were wearing masks properly (over the nose and chin).

Place was clean and indoor tables were spread very far apart. No customers were in the store at the time so I felt safe to dine indoors.

A great local spot with some good, quality subs. Would definitely recommend.

I'm just hooked on JON SMITH SUBS. The owner and staff are so polite and the service is excellent. My go to sandwich is the Cuban - with extra cheese. Love the homemade fries (just like my mom used to make). If I could afford it, I'd eat there once or twice a week. JUST LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Had my first visit here yesterday and was blown away by “The Bomb”. Absolutely delicious and came as a recommendation from the girl working the front who was extremely friendly and welcoming. The entire staff was friendly, including the owner who was in the mix with his staff working just as hard as them. I was working EMS during my visit and was also given a first responders discount!

I have to make special note of the bread and the fries. The bread was super soft and fresh, if I had to guess I would say they make it on premise. The fries were perfectly salted, fresh, and tasty. I’m not usually one for the “skinny” fries but these were done just right.

I can’t wait to make it back to try more items on the menu!! Keep up the good work!!

First time but had a great experience. Staff was SUPER SUPER nice ! Place is very clean and spacious, Menu is very clear and kitchen is very clean. Ordered a cheese sub and hot teriyaki chicken - they didn't hold back on the cheese or chicken. Very tasty; I would definitely recommend this place to others. Doing a bit of research about this place, Jon Smith Subs came from Florida and this is not only the first location in New Jersey, but the North East Coast! With the tri-state area having a high expectation with food quality, this place brought their "A+ Game" with everything.

Their bread is soft and fresh, you can tell it's made on location. Their sandwiches have such a high quality you can taste the love in every bite. Their fries are always fresh.... And they come in a cup so it's great for your car ride home! Make sure to ask for their fry sauce!!

If you are looking for a great sandwich made with the best ingredients, look noore! I can't wait to come back and have another Cuban!

great place - clean, friendly service and best of all FAMILY OWNED . The father and daughter duo behind the counter are amazing. one day I ordered few subs and my order was missing 1/2 sub (accident) - in background owner said stop in and will give you free 12 in sub_ I was not expecting that nor did I ask for it.. and next day he honored it!!! i respect FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS- WITH GREAT FOOD, CLEAN PLACE, AND MOST OF ALL AMAZING PEOPLE WHO RUN IT. !! GOOD LUCK !!!!

Been eating your subs when I'm in Florida twice a year for years. I was thrilled a Jon Smith subs store opened up in Colonia NJ and have not been disappointed. I even recommended a few people to go there and they were happy with their subs. I love your subs. Hopefully more will open up in the Jersey area.♥♥♥

I was skeptical of this place as it's a major chain...but it was very good! Fresh bread and ingredients. Definitely going back for their Italian sub.

I was in the area and came across this place. The service was incredibly fast and friendly and the food was great. Sandwiches were very good but the freshly prepared fries were worth the trip all on their own.

Not one for reviewing anything, but I found this sub shop that actually puts meat on a sandwich! I tried this place after being served the worst excuse for a sub not too far away from Jon’s. The tuna salad was fresh too. My office says you’re a keeper, thanks. Keep it up.

Just stopped in for lunch today I got the tuna and my husband got a steak sandwich. The bread was super fresh and the service was friendly. Happy to see a great business in Colonia.

My first time eating here and it was great. Had the Bomb and Cuban sandwich with two large fries and it was delicious. And the staff was very friendly.

Hearty subs. Crispy fries. They bring your order to the table. It's several steps above Subway, that's for sure. The price might be a little high for some.

Everything has been fresh and delicious!! They are, by far, the most accommodating and friendly people I have dealt with in a long time.
You definitely cannot go wrong stopping in!
