Vegan Delight!!! So, I came across this quaint hole in the wall, "The Lunchbox." The person serving me was Sean. He was great! As I'm eating healthier, I wanted something good to eat & healthy. They had a nice menu, so I chose the Veggie BLT & the Avocado & Tomato wraps.

I've only eaten the avocado & tomato wrap, but it's DELICIOUS! I watched Sean make the wraps fresh. So, if you're; Vegan, Vegetarian, Plant-Based, or simply seeking a better way to eat, try The Lunchbox. Tell Sean, Maxine sent you!

First timer here! Sean is great and the chili was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect for this rainy day. Looking forward to being a regular and exploring the menu!

The Lunchbox is my favorite quick lunch spot in Kingston. Sean, the chef, is super kind and delightful. With a variety of healthy options on the menu, all the food I’ve tried has been delicious. Go grab your lunch at Sean’s window; you won’t regret it.

Amazing food by a wonderful chef! Sean is a wonderful cook, creating a fresh vegetable soup made with ingredients from the farmer’s market as well as delicious sandwiches (try the Thai chicken!). Best meal in Kingston hands down!

The Lunchbox is a must eat in Kingston. Stopped here for a bite. Very fast service for one person cooking everything. Fresh and tasty! Cute little table and two chairs set up to sit on the sidewalk to eat. Would absolutely return. Recommended especially for cyclists who are riding the rail-trail!

Lunchbox is an absolutely essential dining location in Kingston. Whenever I want something for lunch that's both delicious and nutritious, I go to lunchbox. Everything on the menu looks and tastes professionally made but with the love and attention of a home-cooked meal. I'm typing this after just devouring a smash-burger taco, and am currently enjoying the INCREDIBLE eggplant white bean stew.

What a little gem of deliciousness. The proprietor is delightful and his recommendations didn’t disappoint. Try the chicken avocado sandwich paired with the brandied pumpkin soup if they are on the menu. This is obviously a neighborhood staple based on the warm greetings of regular customers and those just passing by. Support this small “snug” business of you’re in the Kingston area.

Welp! Just found my new favorite lunch spot!
The chicken in the club wrap was super moist and did not seem like you’re generic deli chicken. Really yummy wrap. And the matzo ball soup was delicious! You can tell he uses really good ingredients.
And to top it off, the gentleman who owns and operates it is all good vibes and the kindest coolest person!
So glad this exists!

I was on my way to the Yum Yum Noodle Bar Saturday lunchtime when I was drawn in by the amazing smells coming from The Lunchbox. I ended up ordering the vegan BLT and was so pleased I did. The food was wonderful and the proprietor of this tiny establishment couldn't have been nicer. I'm sure I've walked past this place dozens of times and never noticed it. So glad I finally gave it a try!

Needed a quick lunch, and stopped in after hearing good things. It was not the right weather for it, but Sojourner's Soup (ham, black-eyed peas & kale) was way too good sounding to pass up. It was AMAZING! Best cup of soup I have had in a long time. Owner couldn't have been more kind and service was fast! I will be back again and again!

Cool little takeout window. Gentleman who rings it is delightful. I had a terrific Turkey club wrap. Would go again in a heartbeat. I want to try some of the soups!

For what it is, it is excellent. This is a window on the street behind which stands a very pleasant, soft spoken man serving wonderful, simple lunches and just marvelous soups. His "shop" - on view through the window - is approximately 5x8 feet. In there is a refrigerator, a gas grill and a work surface; my clothes closet is bigger. There is one tiny table on the sidewalk - most folks take away - and a chalk board with the days several specials. This is a gem!

THE BEST VEGAN FOOD SPOT IN KINGSTON!!

If youre looking for soulful yet reasonably priced vegan food options in Uptown Kingston, this place is number one!!! He always comes up with unique, flavorful, creative vegan options-- without charging you an arm and a leg! As a vegan of many years, this is one of the few vegan food spots I have ever found where I was not disappointed, and the ONLY vegan place in Kingston that I genuinely enjoy eating from.

Sean, the owner and chef, is particularly an EXPERT in robust, flavorful vegan soups-- he probably presents the only circumstance under which I will eat soup on a 90 degree day.

Sean is not only an exceptional chef, but also an absolutely LOVELY human being! Very sweet, gentle, and caring! I look forward to my daily interactions with him!

Such an awesome little place that delivers big taste! Sean the chef/owner is a friendly, kind man who makes delicious, tasty, and healthy soups and sandwiches. His lemon asparagus soup and deviled egg sandwich is a fave combo.

The jerk chicken and jerk portobello sandwiches are so, so good! The lentil soup is delicious, too. There are as many options for vegans as non-vegans, and the cherries we got as a side we’re fresh and tasty. Also, the owner is such a nice guy. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Absolutely amazing! We started getting food from The Lunchbox past 2 weeks now and haven't been disappointed. Portions are just right and the food is tasty. Thank you for dropping off menus to us at Kingston Consignments. We all love the soups and today's steak tacos.

I wasn’t familiar with The Lunch Box but the reviews led me here. I just had the “vegan extravaganza” sandwich, it was delicious! I’m not a vegan, but I appreciate good food. This was tasty and satisfying. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in the area. You order from a window, it’s perfect for a distanced grab and go (or you can sit at an outdoor table).

Had an excellent tuna fish sandwich. White albacore tuna. Delicious bread. Just the right amount of mayo. We also had a fried chicken salad sandwich which was very yummy. And the tomatoes on the sandwiches were delicious.

Sean is the best! And has yummy food. We bring quart containers and bring home chilli & soups that go into the freezer for lazy nights. Sometimes we eat lunch at his curbside table. Go early (11a) -- he runs out of stuff quickly!
