O'Shaughnessy Reservoir Park

Great place to walk or just to get away for lunch. There are quite a few picnic tables on the hill above the parking area that have scenic views of Home Road Bridge and the reservoir. There are a couple of portable restrooms and you can walk over the bridge or hike the trails on the north side of the bridge. There isn't any playground equipment or shelter house. Plenty of parking.

Good place for relaxing !! We visited there during sunset..amazing view !! You can do kayaking , can bring your own boat and sail..There were benches you can rest and watch your kids playing. Public restrooms are available.

Beautiful all year around

Perfect day trip little destination for a minute. Saw some people picnicking, though I stayed in more secluded areas (by Area L parking-wise). The spot on the Google Map is an ENDPOINT, if you're there, you've gone too far and missed all the parking!

Beautiful fishing and picnic spot, not usually crowded during the week, good luck finding a place to park on the weekends

This is a very nice park! There are picnic tables and very nice fishing spots. There are a few short trails that go through the woods. It is good place to find mushrooms.

I'm new to the area and was just out exploring a bit. I think I'll come down here and fish sometime.

What a great place to take out your kayak! The water is smooth. The entry is easy. The parking is plentiful. The sunset is great here. We could ride all over the reservoir without a problem. There are interesting things on both shores. There's a yacht club. There are houses. There's a kayak rental place. We really enjoyed our ride!

This park is really nice. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Good size playground and a very nice pavilion. We didn't make it in the trails though. There's even a restroom if you're there for a long period.

The spot we stopped at wasn't anything more than a parking lot, a trash can, and a boat entry. However, it provided more than enough space for a picnic for our family after a day at the Columbus Zoo. Our kids loved picking up rocks and throwing them into the water after dinner, and even though there wasn't anything specifically for the kids to do, they had a lot of fun running around. The traffic didn't bother us and wasn't all that visible. A nice spot overall.

Beautiful place with plenty to do around it. You can have a picnic along the water then enjoy a trip to the Zoo. When on the water however, please take the time to familiarize yourself with your surroundings. There are numerous hazards and you need to exercise caution while navigating this body of water due to drift wood and stick-ups from previous high water events. They change each time the water fluctuates. The topography can change from 18 feet of water to 12 inches very quickly. Please exercise caution.

I go here mostly to fish for bass, and have not been disappointed!!!

Fun place to go with family and kids some accessibility to the river is difficult with all the rocks and sticks and logs in the way and it's better to wear shoes when going here also this time of year very dirty lots of broken glass and open cans laying in the soil along the water

Nice Lil quiet park. Was able to put the hammocks up and relax and read a book for a bit too.

Great park my dog loves to run around, unfortunately the rangers don't like that. But still beautiful.

Very peaceful, good fishing and a small boat ramp for kayakers. The ONLY negative thing I can say is there is A LOT of goose poop in the grass!

Low water level this summer but always quite and calm. Great for boating, fishing, paddle boards and kayaks.

Overlook of dam is nice. Currently under updates expanding parking. Path to get down to river is steep.
