Bubby's Chicken & Waffles

A breezy day so which is why we took it home. They were out of tenders but if we hadn’t known that, we would’ve thought that this was the way it was served. The wings were delicious. The waffles were bigger than expected. And they just go together so well! Definitely will go back! And take pictures next time.

I am in LOVE with Bubby’s Chicken & Waffles! The service was amazing and extremely professional. I’m baffled that I did not experience this restaurant sooner. There is a great patio to enjoy your meal or carry out.

Always fresh never frozen. The hot honey is 10/10 the best flavor wing. The funky fry is my go to every weekend. The blue drink is soooooo good.

First time trying this joint and only thing I can say I’m sad about is taking so long to try it ! The waffles are amazing and I have to say some of the best fried chicken wings I have ever had. My old lady was really wanting some tenders but they were all sold out so I got her wings and lemme tell you she was so pleasantly surprised saying they were so freaking good. And the owner is a great dude, hooked us up and was extremely friendly. Check this place out it’s the best.

Great good!! I had the wings and waffle fries. The food was hot and fresh and the Firecracker sauce is amazing perfect balance of sweet and heat. The owner is always nice he had his son bring my food to the car. Will definitely be back!!

If I could rate more stars, I would! My youngest actually ate all of her food! Which is a big accomplishment for her! So you know the food is good when the picky eater eats her waffle AND chicken! So, hats off to the chef ❤
Food was delicious, firecracker sauce, *on point* would love to try the hot honey sauce next time, and the wings!

Hidden Gem of Springfield. If you've never had a true chicken and waffles this is the spot. It's located right outside of Downton hidden on a neighborhood corner. Parking is minimal however don't let that stop you. There was music and a bit of dancing while I waited for my food. The owner was nice and very helpful.

Some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Maybe the best in Springfield! I was very pleased with my dinner and customer service. Always good to eat local and help small business owners out. I will definitely be back 💪🏽🔥

If you're looking for authentic chicken and waffles, but not just authentic, DELICOUS chicken and waffles, you're not going to find a better place. There isn't a single part of thier signature meal that isn't absolutely delicous. The syrup they use is perfect, thick enough not to fall off the waffle, thin enough to not coat your mouth. The hotsauce is just absolute perfection, it's more flavor than heat, and thats what a good hotsauce should be. And together you just aren't going to get a better flavor profile.

My daughter and I stopped for lunch and would both definitely go back! If you've never tried a "Crunch berry Waffle" stop what you're doing and go get one! The chicken was very good and the service was great! It was a top notch experience!

The customer service is amazing and the food is great everyone there is Soo nice and friendly I definitely recommend going here it's worth the cost and they get you in and out super fast,so thank you to the two gentleman that were working tonight will definitely be back

What an awesome find in Springfield OH. We were in our way back to Kansas City, Missouri from Maine and we're looking for a great local place to eat. Bubby's did not disappoint. The waffles and chicken strips were fabulous as we're the waffles fries. We even enjoyed the "extras" that came with our meal.

I have come here more times than I can count and I absolutely love the food these guys make. Service is amazing, everyone working is always very welcoming and they personally thank us for coming out. Lots of love for this place, I haven’t brought a person here who hasn’t liked it. And I’ve brought a lot of people. Would recommend!

Amazing food! The chicken was tender and cooked perfect and the waffle was the perfect sweetness! I highly recommend the firecracker sauce. The owner was kind, the vibes were great, the food was on point and Kayden at the window was the best!
