The Monkey Bar & Grille

My first visit here was because of the cover band that was playing. I had no idea what an incredible little gem I was going to visit! Food was spectacular, service extraordinary and the entertainment was amazing!
The history of this place is great!

When I went with friends and we enjoyed it. They currently did not have food as their kitchen is under remodeling. However, they have bands every weekend. It is definitely a family worthy bar and grill. If you like to kayak you can go on and off the water on the side of the restaurant. My server Lexi was really nice and bubbly. The manager Brian also gave me a quick tour around the restaurant as to why its called " The monkey Bar'.

This place is super cool and right on the river! I came here for a Jeep meet and was amazing! The staff was top notch and always was working hard no matter how busy it got. I trivia DJ was awesome and I will be back for sure! Also they are dog friendly which is a plus plus in my book!

The Monkey Bar and Grill is a hidden gem. Located right next to the Little Miami River the outdoor patio is always such a pleasure. My friends and I enjoy trivia nights on thursday. And Live music everyday. Great stop if you're out on the bike trail. Good for a date night. Good for groups. Kitchen is still down due to a kitchen fire earlier in the year but they have some delicious food trucks. Can't wait for the kitchen to open again. We want our spicy monkey balls back! :-) but we will wait patiently. If you haven't been you need to stop by. Mark and Amy have done a beautiful job of improving this place

We went on a Thursday afternoon. The server was excellent, our drinks were cold and refreshing. The burritos from the food truck were big enough to split and were tasty enough to jot down the name as to see if they served closer to home. All n all was a great experience

What a fun place! This was our first time at the MBG. I'm not sure why it took us so long to finally visit this place. Great atmosphere .., friendly staff...perfect place to meet up w friends for drinks and listen to live music.

What a fun place! Great atmosphere and interesting history. My dad grew up over here and used to bridge jump near the bar when he was younger. Great drinks and fun staff! Not to mention just a beautiful area!

They lost their kitchen, but they still have drinks available. We attended a party here and I was floored by their prices and their service. Bartenders walking around with iPads taking your drink order and then like magic just a few minutes later another server brings it to you! Very fast, very efficient. Their prices were amazing! My wife closed out our tab and when she showed me the receipt I couldn't believe how cheap it was. And the scenery here is fantastic, right on the river. Very relaxing.

The supreme meat pizza was savory and enjoyable. Was piping hot and had the perfect blend of toppings to make it truly supreme. Ambiance was nice, especially outside area with view of river.

I never knew the downstairs bar existed until last week, but the atmosphere is amazing. Very cozy nook. Also the outside this time of year is also great with the fireplaces.

What a cozy place! Live band the night we were there. Sat by the water outside and enjoyed the sites and sounds. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our drinks were never empty! Adult beverage menu was online and so many options to choose from.

We visited tonite and got a few apps, pizza and drinks! Stayed for the band (Not Johnny) and we were not disappointed with any of it! Kudos to the great food! The wait staff was super nice and attentive and the old fashioned was great! We will definitely be back with the jeep and friends! Thanks again!!

My family and I visited this bar on July 15th. The service was phenomenal the food was wonderful and the view was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be back again!

Fun place with malti-tiered levels & Amazing views

This bar, right on the river in Loveland, has a great variety of craft beers, mixed drinks and domestic beers. The BEST food comes from food trucks in the parking lot. The day we were there Cousins Maine Lobster was there and Maine Lobster Roll is fantastic. You can sit indoors, but I sure recommend the patio overlooking the water. Great spot and highly recommended.

Great outdoor area with live music. Unfortunately you need to get there early afternoons on Friday/Saturday to get a good spot on the patio. Friendly servers and you are able to run a tab. The bar has tasty food and there is usually a food truck too.

Missy (server) and others who brought food and drinks were OUTSTANDING! Sure atmosphere is good and pizzas are awesome! But staff make a place worth going back again and again! Cheers.

Always a good time. Nice evenings the patio outside is always packed , live music and fun. Nestled next to the Little Miami river and the bike trail makes it a cool setting. Fire pits outside for people to gather around. Inside is a cool vibe, different areas to gather with friends. Cool indoor bars upstairs and down. Drinks are always cold. Doesn’t matter when you go you are sure to have a fun time.

Love this place anytime of the year. Great atmosphere overlooking the Little Miami. Good place to stop if you're out on a walk or bike ride. Lots of great live music throughout the week. Trivia is fun on Thursday nights. Right now, the basement bar is cozy and warm with a stone fireplace and lots of great people to meet. And!! they are just about to open up their outdoor kitchen. Brand new. Delicious pizza is on the way! I love the chicken bacon ranch. This one is definitely worth a visit!

Like everything prices have went up but the atmosphere is very nice. New parking lot keeps it much more clean. I wish there could be a favorite food truck vote so we could plan a weekly dinner. All around nice place and service continues to improve.
