Great Clips

⚠ : there are grammatical errors as I did voice to text mostly and I'm not able to go down and correct these errors. one of them was if Great clips were a movie the casting director would get an oscar. So I apologize.
But I have always loved this place they literally do magic but besides their expertise every last employee they're just exceptionally kind and caring and understanding. They go above and beyond. To infinity and beyond really. And I say this because for the past 3 years I've had major major life upsets health problems and not only have they listened but they have helped me and immeasurable ways. They treat me like a human being; which is so rare to find not just in Springfield from everyday people but from businesses. This morning I got a Great haircuts and great conversation from Mickala, a beautiful young lady with an equally beautiful soul. She showed me compassion as I said and treated me like a person when most don't because they don't understand my CHF. They tell me to get a job etc but this is not about me this is about Miss Mickala and I have to mention the wonderful perfect staff. Add this for a movie I would praise the casting director because everyone in the store is exceptional what they do and they also are just genuinely great-hearted people. It's nice to know that even though Springfield is getting worse and I don't mean just the streets I mean the businesses. But it's heartwarming to know that no matter how bad things get I'll always have a home here at Great clips on bechtle in Springfield Ohio. I should also mention I am on the autism spectrum. I feel like communicate here because I feel super comfortable, where is other places I feel uncomfortable because besides this congestive heart failure which equals monetary failure. Lol. I have so much trouble and other places due to my autism but here I'm just like anyone else you know besides the whole pajama and house issues. Sorry this is turning into a sappy novel but it is all true of course I was not compensated but I might not have much longer to be on this planet and I want the people that have always been kind to me to know I truly appreciate your non-biased treatment of me. So I can be a handful to say the least I really appreciate your cool calm and collective demeanor towards me and you're Great haircuts and you're above and beyond professionalism just pure good heartedness. I'll quit blabbing but thank you and you always all of you will have a special place in my wonky heart. 😂. Great job team and thank you Mickala a milli times. Have a great day. And if any higher ops read this hopefully they do because this store is really like a diamond in the rough. Starbucks I'm talking to you the rest you know who you are. The restaurants where you have to be a paying customer just to use the restroom or pay $10 for a Dixie cup of five ice cubes. Or the restaurants and businesses that won't even let you step foot in the door because you are homeless and therefore trash speedway I'm talking to you. For the record again my husband's hurt me severely for the 14th time put me in the hospital and it took a blood transfusion for me to learn my lesson. Also the CHF diagnosis Hit me hard in the feels. So we should all take notes from the book of Great clips on North bechtle and because again you don't know, no one does, their last day on this revolving globe. So treats everyone with respect no matter if they have a million dollars or one penny to their name. Because God created us all equal. And I will say you can go to some fancy schmancy haircut place or you can go to Great clips on Excel and get that same haircut and color for half the price but without the uppity attitude. So my point is bring the whole family because they can cut women men's kids dogs hair probably too just kidding. Bring the whole family out or treat yourself and while you're at it pick up some of their bomb hair products. Suffice it to say I love the store and the people in it more. After my last visit, I was hesitant to come back to Great Clips, but the young lady that cut my hair today, did an excellent job!! I know your business has a somewhat high turnover rate, but she's an employee that you need to keep on staff. I didn't get her name, but I'd like to thank her for a Great haircut.

Haley did an awesome job cutting my grandson's hair. She took her time and was so kind to him. The price was good also.

Went in for a haircut and was taken back immediately. The staff was friendly Micala did an awesome job When I asked what she suggested as far as a cut, she did not disappoint. Also advised me of conditioning treatments due to having hard water. I will be coming back here. Thank you, Micala!!

It was great. I love the online check in option and that I receive a text when I have 15 minutes wait left. They keep my haircut preference on file, so I don't have to remind them every visit.

Micala was amazing. I had gone in yesterday for a haircut,and it did not look right after washing and styling it . So I went back in today to see if it can be done right. Micala did a great job and even told me what product to use to give it that special boost. Thankyou very much,I be asking for her when I come back .

Staff was very nice. The lady who took care of me did a wonderful job on my hair. As I need my hair layered and thinned out because of it's thickness, she did exactly how I asked and even kept asking my opinion on the length and if it was okay. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Definitely recommend.

We were very satisfied with our first visit. I had a trainee. She was very nervous. She listened to me and did a fantastic job. We will be returning. Hopefully we will get the same people we had

Very nice people. Great job on cuts

I stopped in to this location, for the first time, for a cut, (went from very long to super short).

My stylist, Zoe, is a newer stylist. She was very sweet and personable...and she did a fantastic job with my hair!

One thing I really appreciated, from a customer perspective, is that she asked a more experienced stylist to come over and advise her on a method with which she has not had much experience yet. That tells me that she truly cares about giving her clients a top-notch cut, and is willing to take advice from her peers, to grow professionally.

I am terrified to get my hair done professionally, but they did a great job. They got me in quickly, were very nice, and my stylist Sunny did a great job on my big chop. She even accounted for the way it would look when my curls dried. I would 100% recommend.

Obviously a very busy place, but I was greeted very personally as a walk-in customer. 15-20 minute wait, but I was updated a couple times. Amanda was great..friendly, pleasant, and did a nice job quickly. Kudos!

It was very busy due to being the day before Easter. I checked in online and was served within a few minutes after walking in. My hairdresser, Kristen, at the Bechtle Ave. location in Springfield was very friendly, informative and I did not feel like I was rushed through.

I walked in and there was no wait. Amanda called my name and she was phenomenal. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my hair cut. She is highly skilled with those scissors. I am originally from Florida and recently relocated here to Springfield area. Amanda has great energy and kept the conversation alive. Amanda did a wonderful job on my haircut. It's hard to find a wonderful stylist. I highly recommend Amanda. She will be my go to hairstylist for now on. Thank you!

Jamie is the absolute best for multiple reasons. One, she is timely and a great conversation. Two, she always does her best to give the cut and style I want while taking in to consideration my face shape and thin hair. Three she has the nicest butt I've ever seen. Seriously. A very lovely view.
