I come here every time I visit the area. Young’s is located just outside Yellow Springs. It’s a local and regional institution! There is a petting zoo with farm animals to feed (feed available for a purchase), a dairy, small park with farm equipment to sit on, a driving range, a miniature golf course, and a huge slide. The centerpiece is the restaurant, which offers sandwiches, sides (the onion rings are great!), and fresh-made ice cream (from the dairy’s milk) in a huge number of flavors. Sprinkles also available. There is a large indoor area with picnic tables to sit, eat, and relax. I highly recommend Young’s!

Homemade ice cream is without a doubt the best flavor. The sandwiches and onion rings take a little longer to serve, but they are also very tasty and should be eaten. There is a cattle barn just around the corner, which can be visited freely, and is recommended for visitors with children.

This is definitely a mid-west experience you don't want to miss, it's massive, large parking lot, petting zoo, long line to order but it moves fast because they know what they are doing. It's great to go for some hikes around Jon Bryan State Park and then get some dinner and ice cream. The ice cream is mandatory don't miss out. Plenty of tables to even on the busiest day I've been you can typically find a seat even for a large group.

Very clean store that sells lots of varieties of ice cream either at the counter or in bulk containers. A few different kinds of cheese. Ice cream and cheese tasted really good and fresh. A deli area is at the right rear. Also a few food items and novelty items are sold.

We stopped here because of geocaching, so happy we learned of the place. Although very off season timing it was a great visit, always a good time to enjoy animals. Probably the best cheese curds from a restaurant I’ve ever had. Of course had to get some fresh milk and it was so good! Planning our return trip to check out the carousel when it’s put in this summer.

I spent about 20 minutes looking around inside at the cheese for sale that sounded awesome and at the gift shop and outside in the barn. The goats were bahhing. It was cute. Petted a little cow. They have hand cleanser stations for after you pet the animals or let them eat feed from your palm. You can buy a little container of goat feed inside for $1.75 or outside by the goats they have 4 gumball type dispensers with feed ..a small handful for $.25.

I love this place! I first got to see this place on a trip with Recovery Zone! It's such a fun time hanging out there all day spending time with all the animals and eating some good food with good people that matter to you. Nothing better than that! And very family friendly!

But, you need to bring your own way to wash your hands unless you go into a bathroom, cause all they got is hand sanitizer, because the old water things outside are broken and no one fixed them.

Stopped by on our way out of town to pick up some cheese curds and sweet potato bread. Everyone was extremely kind here, and our cashier recommended her favorite blend of vanilla latte, coffee, and creamer that really hit the spot. This place is worth the stop!

Such an awesome place for family fun! We had lunch and their homemade ice cream and both were amazing! I love all the activities they have to offer. We went to their petting zoo, played miniature golf, and went on their giant slide. It was a great place to spend our Saturday together!

Stopped by Young's yesterday--it has changed so much since I was a kid. They expanded the dining area to accommodate and serve a higher volume of customers. Looks like they are adding a Merry-go- round.

Ordered a brownie sundae and it tasted delicious. Cashier gave me a buzzer and I walked around the store. Sundae was ready in a little under 5 minutes.

They had fried cheese curd--which I may have to make a return trip and try. Also carried ice cream cartons, milk, pies, brownies, fudge, and cheese in the shopping area.

Had a great experience!

Love Youngs!! We went on a Monday afternoon during the school year. There was no line to order lunch, and it came out hot and quick. We then headed over to Udders and Putters. Played 1 round with 2 adults and 2 children with a $3 off coupon and paid $25. We finished our day with a jumbo bucket of balls for the driving range, which we shared between 3 people, for $19, and it was plenty. A great time as always!

What a fun place! We got there early so there really wasn't a big crowd. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors, fresh cheese curds and some baked goods. There are a lot of activities that are family friendly, from wagon rides, corn maze and feeding goats. Overall a fun place! They also have a driving range as well (I didn't check it out but it definitely seemed to be a popular spot). There is plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and plenty of seating for everyone. It appears that they do have different events happening in the weekend.

Always enjoy the trip out to the dairy. The ice cream is always enjoyable. But we kinda missed the old building. The new one is nice and all, but it just doesn't have the same vibe. Of course, that won't stop us from coming out.... Cheese curds yummy

They expanded the parking lot to make it easier to park and walk in safely. I think it's safer than it was. It's definitely wheelchair accessible but don't use the ramp into the barn it's too steep in my opinion. I just petted the goats and they were sweet. We only went for the ice cream. It's really high quality ice cream. It's not gonna be like getting a half gallon from Kroger. The place is kept clean. The staff is helpful if you aren't sure if you will like a flavor they will give you a tester spoon. I was able to ask about ingredients for the flavor I wanted. If you need Gluten Free they will make sure to use a fresh scooper. They have a ice cream making station to watch how it's made but I'm not sure what day it's operational. I look forward to seeing it in action.

This place checked all the boxes. Built to meet the needs of large crowds with the space provided, the size of the team, and what's offered. Kids love it. Parents love it. It's just the right amount of everything.

I live in Canada, and visited Young’s Jersey Dairy while visiting family in Dayton, OH. We had a wonderful time at Young’s! It was interesting to walk through the barn, and to see the herd of Jersey cows around the silo. The ice cream was delicious! My Aunt enjoyed her black raspberry ice cream in a dish. I really, really enjoyed my Double Chocolate Brownie sundae. And, my cousin raved about the Sweet Potato sundae. I highly recommend Young’s Jersey Dairy for a pleasant afternoon outing.

This is a place, everyone should visit. Yes, a very profound statement for an Ohio rare gem. In operation since 1869 creating and serving some of the best dairy products Ohio has to offer.

Young's has a very nice restaurant and gift shop. The food is very good....but the sweet treats is where it's at. They have a playground and an area where you can visit the livestock. They also have a neat area to watch it all be made. An overall fun experience for all ages.

I like to visit Glen Helen Nature Preserve and/or Glen Helen Raptor Center and finish my day at Young's. Just sharing one of my favorite combos♡♡♡
