Hoback Park

Another reviewer mentioned a lack of trash cans.... Please reconsider your 3 star rating. I was greeted with a plethora of trash cans available for disposing of some old car batteries I had laying around. Broken eyeglasses go in the playground mulch as they should, NOT the trash.

Large park that has a shelter house, baseball diamonds, playground equipment, riverfront walkway, restrooms and plenty of parking.

Hoback Park is great for family get togethers, reunions, birthday parties.... We have a family Thanksgiving here every November, my husband's family is huge!
There is a rentable building with lots of room, folding tables and chairs included as well as a stove, refrigerator, large kitchen sink and bathrooms. A big plus are the playgrounds down the hill from the building. Including outdoor grills and picnic tables! Plus lots of wooded area to take walks and a basketball court! I recommend this park to everyone! It's great year round.

Hoback Park is located east of South 30th Street on Dorsey Mill Road.

A very nice park. The walking trail is in good repair also. It follows the river and you can see some folks Kayaking. Paw Paw grow in abundance here also!

This is a beautiful park with a waterfront walkway! It has a soccer field, a picnic area, and a playground. Leashed dogs are welcome!

A great park with several ballfields and a great playground for kids. There is a party facility for rental and plenty of parking (except during baseball tournaments). Several picnic benches dot a treed area. Best for us are the permanent pit toilets, available year-round. Most of the year there are also port-a-potties in another area. Only downside no running water near the pit toilets.

It was a beautiful walk on the path with lots of flowers, ladybugs,Japanese beetles, birds and the river.

Nice clean park for the kids and is near the bike path.

Nice facility and ballpark. Conveniently located on the bike trail. 🚲

has a nice volleyball court for everyone to use. Great place to take the family or your friends. smooth parking lots which is good for skateboarding, which is what I really liked!

Love the walking path, it was only one not icy in our area in Jan. There are tons of baseball, softball games, a cute lil play area by fields.

They are great they have great coaches

You can pretty much find a decent fishing spot on the river within 20 yards of the bike path. All throughout the park.

My daughter loves this park. Also best place to sled for miles.

Nice layed back environment well shaded near the shelter house. Lots of parking. Nice for small to medium sized parties.

Parking can be an issue when softball tournaments are going on. Handicap accessible porta johns were a plus.

We love taking our dogs for walks on the trails and through the park. Great idea having trash cans all around. More trails should offer them.

I grew up playing softball there, all the coaches were great and they always kept the park clean.
