Artichokes Restaurant

Very nice place to dine. Food was delicious but service could have been better. Waitress seemed not interested and service could have been better. Would definitely give it a try we enjoyed it

Food
Absolutely amazing. It is so rare to find a restaurant that can do everything really well, from starters to desserts, especially in the suburbs. On top of that, their portion is large. I don’t think I need to go to north end anymore. We had lobster ravioli to start, and the sauce was unbeatable. For main course, I had the spicy shrimp pasta. It is the first ever spicy pasta I had in my life and it did not disappoint. Finally we finished the meal with tiramisu and chocolate ice cream bomb. I have such high expectation for tiramisu and it has been a disappointment wherever I go. You know what? They got it right.

Everything else
Our waitress was fabulous. She was so friendly and attentive, which made our experience even better.

Artichokes is a great local spot with the feel of a dinner just as nice in the north end! Every detail is perfect from the wait staff clearing crumbs off your table, to the food & drinks! I recommend this spot to all of my friends and family. It’s one of the top 2 Italian spots in Wakefield! The atmosphere is great too.

Lisa the bartender provided outstanding service. Her recommendation s were “spot on”. I had the frutti de Mer which was loaded with calamari mussels clams scallops and shrimp. She suggested that if I didn’t want marinara I could have garlic butter sauce which was awesome. I will b back. The best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time!

Artichokes is a great place for dinner and/or drinks. The frutti de mare is AMAZING! They have great cocktails and an amazing staff!

Fantastic food, service from friendly attentive staff. A family favorite.

Went last night for my husbands birthday. Just 2 of us. We sat at the bar and Lisa was the bartender. She was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu and cocktails. Food and drinks were delicious.

Went there last night, my friends got steak and pasta, the steak was soooo good. I got the shrimp margarita. To be honest I felt like the sauce needed more flavor. It’s a light sauce which I’m sure many would enjoy. No biggie, I took it home and threw some flavor in it. The sangria was amazing, service was prompt, and the atmosphere was cozy and well lit. Overall 5 stars.

Excellent! I dig the vibe... Some classics from Etta James, Sinatra, etc. Downstairs had live music and patrons were having a blast. The decor was traditional. Service was wonderful. Very attentive, yet not overbearing. We showed up 20 minutes before closing time

Food was very good. I got the pork chop... Very big portion. 2 pieces. Very tasty, the potatoes soaked up the juices. Friends for pasta of all kinds. Also very decent portions.

We have loved Artichokes since they were in Malden, and followed them to Wakefield to their larger location. The warm salad and lobster raviolis are a consistent favorite and must try!

Artichokes is my favorite place for Italian food. The food is always fresh and delicious. The homemade fuscilli is the best, and the service is always great.

Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The Veal Parm and Eggplant Parm was delicious.

Great wait staff, excellent and consistent high quality food. My daughter and I consider it our favorite restaurant!

The best cozy warm feeling of home with a touch of taste in all areas..... Must try you won't be disappointed. Went 30 years ago to other location. 5 star!

Delicious beyond! Great atmosphere super friendly owners and food was out of this world! I am not to fond of Bolognese but theirs is exceptional! You can tell everything is fresh and made to order! The Fra Diavlo to die for and the cheesecake was bomb as my granddaughter would have said! Luv luv
