Rittenhouse Resort

My husband and I stayed at Rittenhouse Resort for three nights toward the end of May 2023. We reserved an electric/water available site for our little camper for two nights but added one more it was so nice. What a wonderful trip! This family-owned / family-run campground is a rare pleasure. The owners were onsite to check us in, guide us to a site, and then see us off upon leaving.

Get this: we had not used and flushed the septic system in our "newish" camper yet, and did not know "how" to "dump" it, lol, but truly. **The owner HELPED US with the entire process!** If you know camping with a camper, you can guess the process of "dumping" is not the most glamorous duty to volunteer for -- yet he was there for us. So thankful for the help.

A++ friendly folks, great family and family dog! GO THERE, you will be SO pleased. We WILL be back. <3

The wife and I have a fair amount of camping experience however we recently bought our first camper. After. Quick Google search we learned Rittenhouse was only 7.9 miles from our house. We called them up. Explaining the camper was just purchased used, and waiting to test everything out. They were more than happy to help. Set us up for 1 night 35 bucks for electric and water. I wanted to test the tanks the pumps. Furnace and so on. Great experience, everyone was helpful. We are currently sitting here now. 2 nights this time,and have future nights reserved. Nice small private campgrounds..so you know...anyways looks for my pics and try this place out.

This place and people are absolutely AMAZING! Makes you feel right at home and apart of a very awesome family! Definitely will be back a lot this summer!

Rooms were cleaned well. Everyone was friendly. I would encourage anyone to rent one of the cabins.

The showers and bathroom is always super clean and the management goes above and beyond to make all feel welcome and are super helpful!

Great place for Family Fun! People at the front desk are very welcoming. Place is clean all the way around! I am not a water type of guy however this place the whole family plays.

great for all ages. People are friendly too. Ron and Teresa Rittenhouse who owns the campground are friendly and will go above board to make your stay relaxing. Beautiful surroundings go carts welcome. Nice swimming area very clean. I have a permanent site and will keep it there.

My husband and I drove in from Lafayette indiana this weekend. Theresa,Nick and her son were very welcoming. We definitely will be coming back here. If I can give them 10 stars I will it felt like home away from home for us.The place was clean and quiet and family friendly. We will definitely make this our camping get away. Our yorkie did not want to get in the car as we were leaving. That tells me that she even had a great time with the other dogs from there .

Awesome place. We had a great spot and the beach was great. We will go back again.

One of the best I've been to! The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The grounds are well maintained. The sites are a good size and very clean, lots of trees for shade. The bathrooms are clean. Everything there is very reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back. If I could rate higher I would, it was a fantastic experience!

I love this place. The people are friendly. The environment is peaceful and relaxing. Great place for kids and adults.

My wife Brenda and dog Chewy spent two great nights in this family and dog friendly place. The owner and his staff were very friendly and the rates were great. We came up to visit some relatives from Bristol Tn. Great weather will be back.

We’ve been a seasonal camper here for a couple summers. The swimming lake is clean. We have a large, shady site. It’s a tidy, quiet place to relax but plenty to do, especially on the holiday weekend. Ron and Teresa run a really great place.

Ron is a great host. My wife and I rented a seasonal site and Ron has been very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to the summer. After a full summer of camping here I can say that this is the campground for my wife and I. The rates are reasonable for a seasonal site and Ron and Teresa are great hosts and are always willing to help you however they can. The Halloween celebration was quite the event with a chili cookoff, haunted hayride, and dj. Looking forward to the 2018 season. We had no problems at all.

Had a nice relaxing time away from home. Very clean and the staff were wonderful. Very helpful getting in. we had a problem with our hitch leaving. The guy helped us get it all straightened out and on the road. We will be going back. And we will be recommending Rittenhouse to others!

Nice, clean campground in a quiet setting. This is our 2nd summer renting a seasonal site and we love it. The lake is clean and a nice way to cool off. Prices are very reasonable.

Quite the tranquil place, very clean. The host was awesome, greeted everyone with a smile and a welcoming air and feel. We will go back! Adults and kids all enjoyed themselves.

They could not have been nicer. They stayed open late for our arrival. They put us in a great spot to pull in and out for the night.
