Petland Heath

What an incredible store! We looked at all the different types of pets they had to offer and the professional and friendly staff helped us pick out the items we needed. We were allowed to safely handle pets that we had never seen before. Awesome place that we will visit again.

I bought a Bichon Frise from this Petland. The puppy is thriving and happy. This store and associates were awesome. These puppies are handled and petted from the people of this town. They are loved and taken well care of. The vet is there weekly. I would definitely refer other people to this store!!

Had a wonderful experience with the help from Kourtni and Adri in buying a Dachshund.

I have a bit of a yes and no opinion on petland just based on a few of their buying practices concerning animals but, this store was very clean and the employees were super friendly. If I could have convinced my wife four ferrets would have come home with me but unfortunately they must stay there another week.

This is my new favourite pet store. Even though they will not order me a breeding pair of honey badgers, they still get 5 stars. All the employees are super friendly and social distance fist bump to everyone.

I love this place! Always helpful and knowledgeable. If they dont know they will find out. The place is ALWAYS clean. All the animal are well maintained and some are even trained. No matter if your a first time animal parent or seasoned animal lover you always learn something new from the staff!! So many varieties and great prices. So stop by and do some shopping for your favorite 4 legged friend or any other animal you may have.

Yesterday my Nana and I went to go get Flea stuff for my Nanas dog. the 2 kids were really helpful, I bough a really expensive antler for my dog, and the one behind the counter took the que that I didnt want my Nana to know how much the bone was, that was helpful.

Went to get large crickets. Unfortunately, the store was out of stock. The female employee understood my stress and explained the she had very small ones that she could sell me. Since the crickets was for my grandchildren to feed their lizard, I knew that the small ones would have to work.

When our first hamster died shortly after bringing him home Portland replaced him no question. We ended up buying another at same time. A few weeks later we had baby hams. Pet land helped with how to take Cate of these little guys, and they all survived. A couple weeks after the birth of the babes another litter was born😰park and took back dad, and first babies, then second litter after helping me and my sister determine sex, her taking two from one litter and me taking one from each litter. Pet land has been very helpful and I recommend this store to all pet lovers.

Bri at pet land in heath saved my beloved dog zeke ! He was a very young puppy and he was not eating. And was having trouble since his liver was so small. I went in there as my last resort and bri was there. I explained to her what was happening and she told me that the stuff she showed me was something that goes home with every little dog. It was a sugary medicine that went on the dogs food ! My dog loved it and started finally eating and was doing so much better after that !! I am very thankful for them ! I love going in there and seeing all the puppies !

I have purchased 2 dogs from petland. They are awesome. I love my cocker and frenchie. You hear talks of petland buying puppies from puppy mills, to which i would reply that first and foremost everyone claiming this has no proof. Secondly if that was the case petland the corperation would have been closed years ago. Feel free to prove me wrong. I love this location, the staff is knowledgeable, professional, and can easily provide documentation proving the high quality and standard that this store strives to live up to. They offer excellent programs to make buying easy and give you the assurance that if there is any problems with the animal they will correct it. I will be buying every dog from now on at petland in heath ohio.

This Petland is great! The animals all look very well taken care of. This location has a lot of different items that the one close to me does not have. Very impressed with staff knowledge. Great job!!

I am immune compromised and this was the only store in Newark/Heath area that would bring me crickets curbside. Petsmart Newark only will bring items you can order online to the curb, and live crickets are not an online option. (The Petsmart in Blacklick will happily bring them to you if you ask.) All pet supply locations in Newark were not able/willing except Petland! When I called, the clerk was so kind, nice, and did not even hesitate. She ran them out promptly with a smile! Thank you!

Prices are a bit on the steep side when compared to other pet stores in the area however the staff and customer service are well worth the five-star rating ans store manager Hope Gregory is highly motivated in improving her store, community and helping the local non-profit animal rescues in the area

Absolutely love this place I got my husky rocky there hes such a awesome lil guy . And the lady's that helped us was so nice . I would recommend this store for all your pet needs 😊

Friendly staff, adorable pets!

Petland is a great place to get a pet. I got my English bulldog there and had no issue's. Everyone was very helpful and nice.

Healthy pets, good selection, affordable animals. Though the small animal cage sizes need to be upped, the 'guinea pig starter sets' are not appropriately sized!

They noticed bag of dog food was expired by a month znx gave it to me for free. Best place to by dog food, would not recommend buying a dog here though
