The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

Our cat needs a compounded steroid and Metropolitan Emergency sent us here to pick it up. They were very nice, telling us several ways to get our cat to take the liquid medicine. When I commented on how far we had to drive there (over 45 minutes,) they said they could mail future refills. My only negative comment: they didn't know of 2 compounding pharmacies much closer to where we live (Tallmadge and Hudson.)

The staff is amazing. April is so sweet and helpful. They all seem to genuinely care about their customers.

I wish I had found this pharmacy years ago! Zach has been absolutely amazing in his caring, holistic approach to me. I transferred a compounded prescription from another pharmacy (that I had been using for this prescription for 15 years) and Zach not only addressed the high dosage, contacted my doctor, made recommendations for (and facilitated) further saliva testing, but also saved me $20/month. He has gone above and beyond any pharmacist I have ever had, and I am 60 years old!

Transferred all my prescriptions here because the large, corporate pharmacy I was going to were understaffed , usually rude and messed my orders up on a fairly regular basis. The pharmacist at the Medicine Shoppe took time to sit with me and sort out all my prescriptions. He is very nice, organized and treats people with respect. I just wish I had switched years ago.

My doctor was out of the Shingles Vaccine and recommended The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy as I source to me.
I went there and they did in fact have the vaccine but they were out of network for my insurance. The staff, including owner Daniel G. Karant worked diligently and relentlessly to find me an in-network provider.

I've never seen any business of any type show so much care for someone whom they were not going to make any money from!

I had an excellent experience. My vet had them mix up a fish-flavored liquid which contained an antibiotic for my cat who could not be tricked into taking the medicine she needed because of it's very bitter taste. When I picked up the prescribed "concoction" I received a very interesting and informative consultation on the best way to administer the medicine to my cat. I have been a cat owner for 25 years yet I learned some very smart (and kind) techniques to trick her into taking it from this pharmacist! I appreciate the advice so much.

Best pharmacy. The owner is truly a caring man and the women that work their are fantastic too. Hard to find good people that really care but they do. Absolutely love them! They go the extra mile for their customers!

I can't say enough good things about Dan Karant, the pharmacist and owner of this location (Norton). I was given a script from my vet for a drug for my cat. Called or visited at least 5 local pharmacies and was told they couldn't help me. Luckily I called Dan. He said he'd look into it. Within a few hours, he called me back. He not only personaly called numerous pharmacies, he arranged for a veterinary hospital to sell me what I needed. He really went above and beyond and his help was very much appreciated. So nice to see a pharmacist and business owner go so out of their way to help without any obligation or potential rewards. Thanks so much Dan 😀

I have been using this pharmacy for many many years. Dan and the staff are very knowlegeful, helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile that the other pharmacies around here dont. It's a more personal experience at The Medicine Shoppe. They treat you like a member of their family and not just another customer. They also have prescriptions ready for pick up in a reasonable time frame. Other pharmacies could learn a thing or two from The Medine Shoppe.

My compounded medication was prepared for me and was ready at the time I was told it would be. The store is lovely and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the music that was being played.
