Excellent communications, Excellent quality of work, very timely, great pricing, cleaned up everything when finished. What more can I say? I would definitely recommend them.

I had them install a pair of electric water heaters in my house. One is tied to my desuperheater from my geothermal system as a preheater and isn't hooked to electricity. This feeds the second heater that is hooked to electricity to bring the temperature up the rest of the way.

I had several plumbers look at this job. One wasn't interested in the job, another had a price that was almost $2k more expensive.

These guys were familiar with what I wanted and tackled the job the same day they came to look at it.

I've used Mackin and Sons a few times now. Overall price is reasonable, they're usually pretty quick to squeeze me in (within reason, can't serve everybody immediately). The work is always very high quality and I've never had any issues or been disappointed with their work. I'd highly recommend them if you are looking for a plumber.

A great experience from start to finish. Mackin employees came to my house within 48 hours after I called them for a (free) estimate on a mid-sized job. After I decided to proceed with the work, an excellent plumber came the next day to fix my problem. He was a complete professional, walking me through what he planned to do and how long it was expected to take. The work was clean, the plumbing is back in working order, and there was absolutely no mess left for me to clean up!

Excellent work completed in difficult circumstances. We had some underground plumbing leaking below the frost line that Mackin and Sons were able to fix for us within 24hrs of a phone call. It had rained for 3 days so conditions were terrible and they got the job done exceptionally well.

First off the professional who answers the phones(I am sure Heather wears many hats) what a delightful person. Heather also, followed up to ensure I was happy with my services and has the ability to think outside of the box. I love her can do attitude instead of saying we cannot she said what can we do. This ability helped fixed my issues along with the plumber. As for the plumber who came out to service his name was Nick. Nick was very professional and listened very well to my concerns and thought process without stepping in and cutting me off. He explained very well what he was doing and gave me the cost before even starting the work. I was shocked at the price for I have heard so many horror stories. I am so happy I did not second guess and go with another company!

New customer here! Anthony arrived on-time and was very professional, friendly, and courteous. We needed our hot water heater flushed. He did the work quickly but effectively and left behind no mess. He answered all our questions and concerns patiently and thoroughly. Plumbing is certainly not cheap these days, but I'd say Mackin & Sons prices are competitive. Mackin and son were here within an hour to give me an estimate of getting my plumbing needs fixed. I thought the estimate was a little high but agreed to what Anthony suggested I do. Mackin has helped me with several projects and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my house. They are always on time, super clean with their work and very responsive.

They installed a tankless hot water tank and service it yearly for us- it’s been awesome. We also had them update our sump pump and install a backup, which has been great peace of mind. We had a bunch of drain issues all around the outside of our house and they are always great with those too. I really love that they have some strong relationships with other companies for things they don’t do (like basement water clean up). Thanks guys for always being there for me and my family.

My hot water heater went out, Mackin & Sons came out within 2 hours gave me a quote, ordered the parts. Alex the plumber promptly arrived the next day and was able to repair the pipes ,add an expansion tank saving me from replacing the tank.
Alex was very friendly and professional, I was very pleased with his work.

Had a problem with a Moen roman tub faucet that Mackin installed a year ago. Since it was an expensive fixture I called them to see if they could take a look and they came out the next day to investigate. Turns out it was not a problem at all. The fixture handle had just worked it self loose and needed refastened. Anthony took care it and was on his way. Once again, fantastic customer service. Thank you!

Not only have they done dozens of remodeling projects for us, I have had them do upgrades, remodeling and service work at my personal home, our office and design center, and referred to neighbors, family and friends. My plumber Anthony did a great job with my faucet problems. The kitchen faucet could not be repaired but a new one was installed the next day. The sink in the bathroom needed replaced so a new faucet could be installed. That issue was also resolved quickly. It is so nice to have everything working properly.

Alex did a fantastic job. My only issue was pricing. But to be fair, this is the first time I’ve had to call a plumber in over 25 years. I have always done my own plumbing.

We had a clogged main drain and called them in the morning. They came right out and took care of the problem. Anthony was excellent. Very professional and polite. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend using them for any plumbing problem. I will use them for my plumbing in the future.
