Fronimo's Downtown

One of the best restaurants in stark county. The food was amazing. My wife and I went here for a date and got a few of the small plates. The flavor and textures were delicious. Highly recommend this place.

My wife and I decided to try this place for the first time over the weekend for our wedding anniversary.... we were blown away by the quality of the food and the presentation. Pork chop was perfectly grilled and juicy. And my wife's linguini was top notch as well.

They were really busy which is a good sign and the staff was on point the entire time. Attentive to all of their customers and still remained upbeat and positive.

We will most definitely be back.

Fine dining in a more casual setting. Great drink selection. Appetizers were top notch. Entrees as well. 4 of us went and a ll were pleased.

Great food and great service - some of the best fries you’ll ever taste. Very Unique items on the specials sometimes. I wish their menu was a little bigger. The first time I went it was 5/5 the second time I went it was 4/5. The presentation was always 5/5. One the second time the potatoes looked great but were really hard and bland, they almost seemed old. You can kind of see near the skin the color is darker as if it is old. I’ll still be back.

The food taste amazing. I couldn’t stop myself eating it all and I was so full afterwards. They also have good selection of drinks and cocktails.

It has a nice atmosphere and it might be good to make a reservation if you are going with a large party.

We decided to try Fronimo's and we are so glad we did. The service, the atmosphere, the food, and the drink were amazing. We started off with the risotto of the day which was mushroom. It was so flavorful and the best risotto I have ever had at a restaurant. We ordered one of their specials for the night which was pan Sautéed walleye. Delicious! Dessert was a chocolate peanut butter bomb. Again delicious. I also had a blood orange martini and they have a good selection of wine by the glass. We cannot wait to go again!

Better make a reservation! Why in around 5pm and only the bar was open to eat. Smaller menu, but they have unique menu items. The food came out quickly and was very good. The service was even better.

Absolutely love Fronimos! Best fish and scallops I've ever had. Veal meatballs and peppers are awesome. Staff and service is great!! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Gorgeous decor, classy but casual atmosphere, gourmet and creative food, affordable prices, great drinks and craft beer selection, exceptional service. Right in the heart of downtown Canton's art district!

Everything we’ve ever had at Fronimo’s has been exquisite! The atmosphere is small and trendy with an upscale touch. I don’t even like tomatoes but the fried green tomatoes are to die for! We ordered muhammara and wasn’t sure what the expect (the spread with crostini and veggies in the picture) but it was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy! Next, we went for the pork meatballs which were a special. And boy - they were special! Two huge meatballs topped with a lightly sweetened soy and crispy wontons helped fill us up quick! We ended the evening with a red velvet tort that was great. I’m not sure from where, but the desserts are delivered to the restaurant. All in all - if you’re in the area - do it!

Excellent food in a fun and relaxed atmosphere! We were there on First Friday so it was very busy but the food was absolutely delicious! We had the lamb burgers and they were both cooked to perfection…so juicy and flavorful along with Fronimo fries which were awesome with just the right seasonings! It’s one of my husband’s favorite places to eat and mine too.😊 Starr and her family do an amazing job with this local gem of a restaurant.👏👌 My Grandpa and her Grandma were brother and sister and were amazing cooks of Greek and Italian food…I only wish they could be here to enjoy the fabulous food at Fronimo’s. They would both be so proud of the business Starr has built.❤

Great service and everything that I ordered came out exactly as described. In these trying times being a restaurateur it’s easy to sacrifice food or service and they don’t do either. Keep it up and best wishes!

Amazing food hands down Great atmosphere a must try.

This is the BEST DAMNED Italian restaurant in Stark County! I love the atmosphere, the service is prompt and courteous. And what's that old adage... Location, location, LOCATION! I love where they're located in downtown Canton. Easily accessible and within walking distance of other places downtown.
And the food! Lemme tell you about the FOOD! The strip steak I had was juicy, and tender, and mouth watering. And I also loved that it was shareable, because my baby don't eat much. But there was no way I could have eaten it all alone. No matter what I have for dinner, I always order the fried green tomatoes. I can't even describe them. They are just perfect. A must have.

A must go to place in downtown Canton! Went at the last minute and had a fantastic dinner. Muhammara and fried green tomatoes appetizers followed by lamb burger and scallops. Service was awesome. Will be back.

OMG, this restaurant was recommended by a friend. I had their beef kabob special. It was absolutely amazing. The waitress was wonderful, the atmosphere great. I will be back

The food is always excellent and so are the people. Daily specials that are incredible and perfect size. Starr, Christine, and the rest of the staff are amazing.

Delicious food in a great environment. Chef Butch created some delicious steaks, pork chops, and Mahi-mahi. We had poutine, a charcuterie tray, and scallops for appetizers. So tasty!
