I am an Italian expat, I’ve been in the U.S. for 6 years now. I never had a better experience at an Italian restaurant than the one I had at LA Puglia tonight. The food is amazing and authentic. Seafood is fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and at a competitive price for LA. Pizza and pasta are great and taste like the ones back home. On top of that, the whole staff is so attentive, without ever feeling too intrusive, and some of the nicest people we’ve met. I am happy to have found a slice of home in my home away from home.

I cannot say enough things about La Puglia.
The decor is incredible and every detail was thought out. The food takes me back to Italy…handmade organic and perfect! The service was also amazing; genuine and polite team. A must for lunch or dinner, or Tuesday evening jazz!

One of my favorite restaurants to visit when I’m in Santa Monica. The food is authentic delicious and makes me feel like I’m back in italy! A must if you are looking for great food in a great atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at LA Puglia in Los Angeles last night. This charming restaurant specializes in authentic dishes from the Italian region of Puglia, and the experience was nothing short of nostalgic. Each bite transported us back to our hometown, making it feel like we were enjoying a taste of home for the evening.
Beyond the culinary experience, the restaurant's unique ambiance created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making the evening even more memorable.
Our sincere thanks go to Valentina and her remarkable team for not only welcoming us like we were part of their own home but also for creating this incredible restaurant. Amazing place, all 5 stars across Ambience, Food and Service.

As you enter, you will be absorbed by the great ambiance: a place on its own, with modern decor, great background music and italian movies in black amd white.

The service by Antonio was top notch: friendly, very knowledgeable, with the awesome suave style that Italians own. He gave us excellent recommendations, catered to our desires and was super friendly and funny.

On to the food. What an amazing job! I went fir chitarra (kind of thick spaghetti) with scampi. The pasta was perfectly cooked, with a sea food sauce that made my palate so happy. Scampi was prepared perfectly. Desserts were amazing too, with the sponge cake being the star of the night. Excellent drink and wine menu too.

Come in, enjoy the food and feel you are in a modern yet familiar restaurant in Rome!

As an Italian, this place truly made me feel at home! The food was amazing, you could really taste the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. Staff was kind and welcoming. Great ambiance, elegant decor and a jazz band playing in the background. Definitely coming back!

Always amazing food atmosphere. It is a nice date spot. I love the decor. The appetizers are great as well, as well as the pizza. Good wine selection. I went there for my bday last year and ate the tastiest cake I’ve ever eaten. The service is always very good.

Wonderful experience at Christmas dinner, I am grateful to have had this gem open to enjoy a delicious and festive time with my family! We had very attentive service, despite how busy it was they went above and beyond to take care of us, and everything was cooked to perfection - the lamb in particular had incredible flavor and was so tender, I savored every bite. The pasta was a hit with everyone as well, with well balanced sauces. As always, great variety, we were all very happy with our choices. We will be coming back!!!

I went to LA Puglia for Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend, we never been there before , it was our first time ever.
The place is very beautiful and they had a great Valentine’s Day menù.
I highly recommend the LA Puglia.
You also gonna have a real Italian atmosphere and real Italians stuff, our server for the night , he’s name was Federico Italian actually from Puglia (the region in Italy) where great service.

One of the most stunning dining experiences I've ever had. Last night was jazz night and the wonderful music combined with the stellar artwork, attentive service, and delicious food made for a truly spectacular evening!

I have been to this restaurant numerous times after my partner and I found the restaurant on the Gambero Rosso (which won best restaurant of 2023). My partner is from Italy, so he can confirm that the food is delicious and on par with food back home. We loved it so much, he took his parents here for dinner when they were in town from Italy for the holidays. They also loved the food, enough that they came back 2 more times during their stay in Los Angeles.

The place is elegant, food is delicious, service is attentive, and the ambience is quiet even on their busier nights. All of their pastas are delicious as well as their branzino which is super light and flavorful.

Excited to dine here one last time before I move out of the area!

This place is a hidden gem!
I celebrated my birthday there, with a large group of 12 people! They couldn’t have done a better job at making this a special occasion
They surprised me by preparing a beautiful table with a menu and placing us in their private room, it really felt like an intimate family dinner
I really recommend their fixed menu for large groups, you can have a lot of everything for a great price
Everything is absolutely delicious, this is probably the most authentic Italian restaurant in LA and you can really tell by the quality of the ingredients. I really felt like I was transported back into Italy 💖

We hosted a event in the gorgeous private gallery room of this restaurant. We had the most kind and thoughtful service , a delicious menu (unique, not your everyday brunch!), and all of our guests were delighted with the experience. If you are every considering hosting an event, do it at this secret gem! I especially loved the quiche and the almond cake !

Went here for lunch on a friends recommendation and I must say I now see what the hype is about. I had the Orechiette pasta with a a beef roll, this dish is amazing, it has so much flavor and basically has pieces of roast and I also had the the Spaghetti with basil olive oil and capers. I usually don’t like capers but it works in the dish. The bread is made in house fresh so make sure to have some with your pasta. I also had organic orange juice that they squeezed fresh. I will def be going back soon.

Great atmosphere, service and vibe. I went on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the Jazz music playing on the lounge side of the restaurant. I loved the Rosa | San Giuannid Spaghetti alla Chitarra with-wood fired tomatoes. Our server told us that the pasta was made fresh that morning, as was the bread. The baked skin-on branzino fillet with minced zucchini, bread crumbs and extra virgin olive oil was delicious and the organic homemade gelato was the perfect light dessert to cap off our meal. Next time I'd like to try the pistachio-crusted salmon or one of their many pizzas.

We had a wonderful evening. The food tastes just like Italy (where I’ve been many times) and the menu is very appealing.
The atmosphere is nice, yet a bit loud if you’re sitting next to a large table.
The pasta a la vongole was excellent, clam and mussel were extremely fresh and tasty. And the tiramisù tasted better than the one we had in Florence.
I’ll gladly return to this restaurant.

Authentic Italian!
I am from Italy and I was delighted to discover this gem in Santa Monica. Pizza was really good, orecchiette like the ones you would have in Puglia. Service was also great. Very good value for money compared to many other Italian restaurants in LA.

Can I have one of everything on the menu please? Everything was beautiful! The band was amazing! If you wanna hear great Jazz catch Shea Welsh here next time!
