PJ's Coffee

PJs is so good!! Have tried the locations in New Orleans before but didn’t know they were out in California.

I had the velvet chai with oat milk and it was perfectly creamy and topped with cinnamon (love that they double checked if I wanted whipped cream since I am vegan). The staff was SO nice and wanted to make sure my visit was perfect. I ordered coffee beans to go and they asked if and how I wanted them to be ground - and even considered the type of coffee maker I have.

11/10 recommend plus the easy drive through location makes it fast and easy.

Quick drive-through service on the way to Tahoe and all the staff wore masks! The lady that took our order was patience when we asked for less sugar/concentrate. I loved the chai velvet ice and their regular coffee was very smooth! I’m excited to make their coffee at home with their wide variety of medium blends! Their cookies were also fresh, warm and delicious!

I got a caramel Granita and it was so much better than Starbucks. You can actually taste the coffee and it is sweetened perfectly. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast as well. I recommend giving this place a try.

Welcome to the NorCal, PJ’s ! As a native of Louisiana(Born, Raised, Educated, Geaux Tigers), I was elated when I heard that this chain would be coming to Sac. I followed their Facebook page and kept checking for the opening date. Well today I was able to share an experience with them on that date. Being under the weather, the management team went out of their way to serve us. We ordered a King Cake Latte with Oat Milk. We really enjoyed it. We plan on coming back soon to get actual King Cakes as well !!! To have this gem here is a huge deal, let’s make sure we support them in a very big way !!!

Was a little nervous when I pulled up and there were no cars outside but I ordered their mocha velvet ice and I am thoroughly pleased. Its pretty good. I can taste the coffee in it. Perfect amount if sweetness. Got it with almond milk. Very happy. I'll definitely be coming back. Its so nice to have a good place to go that isn't Starbucks (starbucks always messes up my orders). And the staff was friendly

I live near this place and I have to say I prefer it to the well known coffee chain across the street that starts and ends with “S”. Great coffee and sandwiches, friendly and helpful people, I often stop there in the morning to get coffee and food. This place was a closed down taco stand for about 20 years with homeless people all around hitting me up for money at the next door Arco station as I filled up my car. All of that is gone and the location has been cleaned up, what an improvement, I suggest you give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow, I just happened to stop by PJ’s coffee in Carmichael. Their coffee is amazing, and what great customer service. Living in Seattle with Starbucks everywhere, I wish the owner open one there. The granita is smooth and the smoothies is out of this world. The Club sandwich was just the right size to satisfy my hunger. I am hard of hearing and they had a walk-up window Best of all the owners seems to know some sign language am I didn’t have to write it down. Great suggestions from the owner!!👍😊

Sooo tasty! Excellent service - I couldn't decide between a sandwich and the feta spinach croissant so the boss gave me one to try and I'm so glad he did. It is delicious. I also loved the mandarin Arnold palmer. It was perfectly tart and balanced and I will definitely be back!

Great base black coffee with plenty of flavors to choose from if you're into that. The coldbrew is delicious as well. Nice food/snack selection for an on the go pick me up.

Their classic coffee Granita is amazing as is their frozen hot chocolate. The people who work here are super friendly and fast. You seriously can't go wrong going here. They also have some pretty amazing pastries and decent breakfast sandwiches as well.

Iced Latte, Smoothie, Cold Brew & Cinnamon roll, yummmmm! Very satisfied customers!👌👍🥰 Definitely a must try!

I love love this coffee place! The employees are knowledgeable and will do whatever it takes to help with a recipe or special requests. Lots of goodies and easy points system for free items. Their coffee is great!

The flavor of the coffee is so smooth and delish. Im not a fan of Starbucks and prefer Pete's but now I have a new favorite. Boyfriend got the xl ice coffee mocha and I got the large vanilla velvet ice. His was too much mocha flavor for me. Support this shop. Great friebdly staff. Walk up counter and drive thru.

Super delicious coffee! Staff is genuinely nice (we all know “fake nice!”, but they are genuinely nice!). Love love love the protein velvet ice. Honey Macadamia is delicious s as well!

Today was my second time and I like it. A little bit on the expensive side compared to Starbucks, but I was super satisfied with the coffee. Also, the staff was super friendly. I will definitely keep coming back more often.

Stop wasting your time across the street at Starbucks and get a much better cup of coffee! Better quality and faster service! Their reward program is much better as well so you can rack up the rewards faster.

I went to PJ’S Coffee here in Carmichael on the cross section of Manzanita and Madison, I ended up using the walk up window because it was a beautiful day and there was a man outside who said, hello to me and asked how I was, while he was cleaning outside. It turned out to be the owner and we got to talking and learned of his struggles to get this building up and cleaning up the area. He was telling me about how PJs has a certain quality to it you can’t get anywhere else. I couldn’t disagree, although I got a London fog which is a tea based drink, a box of their chamomile lemon tea and a cookie for the road lol. I have to say in general, it was great! If you’re interested in tea they have a huge selection, they can brew a single cup or you can buy a whole box! The staff was very kind to me and the London fog was amazing. The cookie was larger than a regular size and has big chunks of chocolate chips too. For a new coffee shop and with the staff still learning, they’re doing great! Highly recommend!

Thank you sooo much Danny for going above and beyond to make me my coffee today, you could have told me that you guys were not open yet and sent me on my way but instead you asked what I wanted!! That is so sweet of you, I work very early and no coffee shops are opened on my way to work. You made my Friday better! Love Pj's coffee & will be coming by again since I live just down the street. Best customer service here for sure

This shop has amazing coffee with even better people. The people who run the shop are incredibly kind. They have a good menu great coffee and food that looks really tasty.

This coffee shop is the best! Always new items on the menu and everything is fresh
Won't say any names but the place across the street doesn't even come close. And try the breakfast sandwiches they are awesome!!
