Vermont violins is above and beyond! I decided to rent a cello a few months ago and after hours of researching different opportunities it was clear that vtv has the strongest equity building rental program available. After deciding to move forward with them, I have found that their staff is also incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I have received excellent care and attention from them as well as my dream instrument and I could not be happier. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. If you are considering getting into strings, or are looking for a shop to support an ongoing string habit, I highly recommend working with Vermont Violins!

I had a great customer service experience with Oliver, using the texting feature on the website. I was looking for a certain Bobelock violin case, and he found out his supplier had one left. He answered all my questions quickly and worked to get the order shipped. Great service! I would go to this shop if it was nearby! The case came super fast. Had a great shopping experience here! Beautiful store with extremely friendly and helpful staff. They have serviced a violin of ours for a great price, and I've purchased several accessories from them that were very reasonably priced (music stand, tuner, rosin). No reason not to go here, it's a gem.

I am delighted to recommend Vermont Violins! I played violin for over 50 years, but physical injuries made continuing to play painful, so I gifted my violin to my son.
Lately, I have had the desire to try again to play. Not knowing whether or not I will be able to play, renting an instrument seemed the smartest option.
As a classically trained violinist who has been away from playing for several years, I needed advice on what violin to rent.
From start to finish, my phone call with Oren checked all the boxes. He asked numerous and detailed questions regarding my past violin experience, what I have done, what instrument I have played and what I am seeing to do. (He was careful, as well, to include my financial preferences, so there was no question as to what the rental process entails.)
Every answer I gave Oren spurred another question from him in his effort to understand precisely what I need.
Then, he offered me options, explaining each, and I made my decision.
Oren was friendly, extremely helpful and did not pressure me at all. This "dipping my toes back in" has been a lovely experience.
I am excited to get the VRichelieu violin and get my fingers back in.

I ordered a Salvi harp and transport bag from Vermont Violins. I had many questions before because this was a big purchase! Oren was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Shipping and pickup went surprisingly smoothly considering I live in Alaska. The harp looks wonderful and it arrived in perfect condition!

I decided to "pack my fears" and get a good, solid but lightweight violin case for my next air travel. The folks at Vt Violins were very helpful and I chose a GEWA Air. During two calls, each of the people who assisted me had all the details I asked about, or went immediately and got the info for me. My order went though and was delivered in a very short time (days) with regular tracking email updates.
I should also mention their prices were very good. What's not to like? Thank you Vermont Violins.

The Best Customer Service Ever ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
First we had problems getting an order in for Bobelock Half Moon Viola Case that was in stock. Then we had to wait quite a while for the recipient and the viola to return home. We were over the return policy time, and Oliver generously waited for us to try out the case, which unfortunately turned out to be too small. So together we searched other viola cases that might work. Finally, after 5 months, we have a viola case that is adjustable on the inside, Tonareli Special Edition Fiberglass Cello Shaped Viola Case, and the color is Pearl Graphite! Looks beautiful! We have a happy camper, and we love that it has wheels too. Paying the difference between the two cases was absolutely worth it. Thank you Oliver for patiently navigating us to a happy ending! What a feat!! Couldn't have done it without your support!! 💛

Very happy with the customer service I received from Vermont Violins. I placed my order online for a bow case, and it was out of stock. The store promptly emailed me about the status of my order and worked diligently with their vendor to obtain the bow case we wanted. Pleased with the stores kindness, patience, persistence and follow-through.

I have absolutely the best musical experience here. When I started out playing the cello they helped me pick one out that I was comfortable with. Once I was ready to purchase one they took their time helping me find the perfect cello and bow for the price I could afford, and lucky for me I rented because while I was renting I gained some equity to help pay for my cello and bow. If you’ve been playing an instrument or just starting out this is the perfect place to help you along the way! Can not recommend these people enough! Absolutely wonderful!
