Deliciouse best orange chicken since canton owners left just tried this today gonna be comming back aslong as it stays tasting this good who cares about the wait

I am new to The Dalles and Orient Cafe is the first restaurant I have eaten at. The service was wonderful! The food was hot and delicious! They are friendly and helpful and I will be back!

Absolutely amazing. Everything about it. Truly my favorite place to go eat and just unwind to the comfortable atmosphere. I truly recommend everyone goes sits down and eats there with family friends or even alone. Best place in the world.

Good simple Chinese food. Great portion sizes. If you order a plate of general tso's chicken you get a plate of general tso's chicken not a couple of slices of chicken on top of a salad. Overall great food and a good price

Absolutely fantastic & fresh food every time we eat here! Almond subgum chow mein is the best and my husband almost always eats the tofu hotpot.

There was a minor misunderstanding regarding the type of chicken I ordered, but they immediately offered to make it right and brought out a piping hot replacement a few minutes later.. So grateful for the hospitality. 🙏

Prices were good, portions were HUGE. Will be back soon!

By far the best orange chicken our family has tasted.

We are visiting The Dalles for a few days and eating at places we've never tried.

We got the food to go ... so I cannot say what it's like to eat inside ... however it was clean and very friendly while I waited.

It is a cozy little space.

We will absolutely get food from here again!

I happened to find this place driving by glad that I did they have good prices and some of the best food I've ever eaten and I'm a Chinese food expert, self proclaimed lol
I've eaten Chinese food in London and in Scotland Edinburgh to be precise and nothing compares to the quality of this food go see for yourself you won't be disappointed and tip your waitress or wait staff they work hard people

I really enjoyed everything! So friendly loved seeing how they interacted with all the customers and their regulars. We will be back for sure 😊 food was really good!!!

On our way back home from Idaho to Portland, we felt like having some Chinese food along hwy 84. Let me tell you, the food was delicious and we had quick service. The Orange Chicken was great and so was the beef yok.

Great friendly people and I like the Cozy atmosphere. Egg foo young was outstanding. I ate too much and took some with me. Great place to go if you're looking for some really fine authentic Chinese food
