Alleycat Bar

Second of three on a bar crawl. Cute little spot nestled in-between an alley right beside Masonry Grill and where the old 1859 is located.

Space is small but felt large and the inside was very modern and cozy. We only ordered drinks so this review is strictly off aesthetic and drinks.

We ordered a Stone Old Fashioned and Cool As A Cucumber. Without question, the Stone Old Fashioned was the best drink I've had in the area, and that's in high regard because Epilogue makes the other best Old Fashioned I've had. High compliments to their mixologist for creating such a balance, freshing menu of drinks. The Cool As A Cucumber was also fragrant, tasty, and refreshing and would also highly recommend.

This is a definitely cute space and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend their drink selection if you want a great hangout after work with friends or significant other.

Only complaint is that I stupidly circled the block looking for this place— guys, it’s in the alley. See context clues in the name. Anyway, the drinks are very tasty! Brain child of the bartender with the cool hair. Happy hour is great and I got a Frito Pie which I never heard of but was tasty! Also, apparently they have trivia on Wednesday nights.

Them brisket nachos lookin delectable and are delectable. My taste buds are forever satisfied.

Intimate, cute space with delicious cocktails. The cocktails are creative and deliver a boozy punch. Staff is lovely and attentive. Would recommend.

Friendly atmosphere and bar tender Christian is super friendly and attentive. Love the Oregon friendly vibes. Small plates, so it’s not a full menu, but the food choices are well-rounded.

If you are looking for amazing, original cocktails, a fun time, great ambiance, and good customer service, this is the place. I have been here a couple of times, and the drinks I get are always delicious and Alena the bartender/ mixologist definitely knows her stuff. The little bites of food are great, especially the piping hot churros with cream cheese frosting dip 🤤 on the weekends like most places it gets pretty busy, but if you are patient and kind to those working here, you will not be disappointed!

Super cool bar and restaurant on the alley between Commercial and Liberty, across from Sweetsmith. Only had drinks on our first visit. They were great and the service was outstanding.

The creative and delicious cocktails are very reasonably priced. Great vibe with the best service and bar food I have found in Downtown Salem. A definite must try for anyone looking for the full experience. Very talented bartenders.

I cannot wait to go back to this bar! It was busy and the women working were so attentive, fast, and personable. The drink menu has a lot of fun options for everyone and of course the bartender could make whatever you requested. So happy I spent my Friday night at Alleycat!

Great tucked away and interment setting. Very nice decor with some subtle surprises here and there.
The staff were very courteous and helpful.
Nice outdoor setting even considering the proximity to the alley.

Went here for a ladies night a girlfriend and I. Great food, amazing service, really delicious drinks and the other patrons of the bar all seemed really chill and like they were enjoying themselves. Looking forward to another evening there soon!

Stopped in here after Salem Pride had amazing drinks and unique really wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Also got to meet the owner and she was incredibly sweet and the vibe was so relaxed and enjoyable

Such a cute family run bar. The bar tender is super experienced and makes the best old fashion. Every drink is handcrafted to perfection!
