This sushi house was very good. I found my palette satisfied and overall very welcoming. Service and the environment were great! I came into the 11:00 am buffet. It costs at around $30 per adult and has an unlimited amount of rounds. But for each round you are limited to 6 dishes. Each dish came out timely and beautifully. The food was amazing and I appreciated being able to choose and eat almost anything I wanted. Would definately reccomend coming here in pairs or a group.

Fresh sushi with great flavors. Perfect bite size for us. Our kids love their miso soup, dumplings and dragon roll. I have tried sushi at different momiji locations. This location is my favorite.

I have eaten a lot sushi in my life. This is the best sushi I've had and that's even including the sushi that comes when you're on the coast. I never thought this far inland I would get sushi this good.

But not just the sushi I mean the coconut shrimp literally blew my mind I can never have coconut shrimp made any other way than what I just had at Momiji's. If you're a sushi lover then you have to stop here and eat their sushi because you won't find a better sushi place within 100 mi of this place.

Best salem rolls! My personal favorite is this Jalapeño Roll. I ordered some gyoza to start with. Perfectly fried, amazing filling.

Absolutely the best & deliciously authentic! Definitely at the top of the finest sushi I have ever Eaten. Even the hot tea was amazing! It's a must-try, best in Oregon! Be prepared to wait in line for a while because it's a very popular place. It was packed and we had to wait about an hour for a table. I will say It was completely worth it in the end. If you'd like to try your luck at some Video Lottery they have a room for it there. I didn't play this time, but hey it can pass the time while you wait.

We had the all-you-can eat sushi with friends. Everything was beautiful and delicious. I think the tempura shrimp and sushi towers are definitely worth trying!

I've been eating here since it opened. It started off with near perfect food and service then I feel it took a bit of a fall as the original crew slowly left, but they seem to have got it back together. I was very happy with our food and service tonight and will continue to eat here as much as I can justify.

It is worth noting that by there are actually two separate Momiji chains(same family, different chains), one is the commercial & Albany stores, and the other is the stores that stems from the Silverton Road store(those include the Monmouth, North Bend stores, & new West Salem store), they are quite night and day in their approach to Sushi and dining. I have eaten at both several times, and there is truly no comparison. I live 2 blocks from the South Momiji's and I drive to the Silverton Road one, that should tell you something, if not, Google Map it.

This place is definitely a dive in the best way possible, as with most dives, the biggest downside would be the limited seating which makes it a good place for 1-4 people, more than that and it's probably not going to work, unless the sushi bar is totally empty and you can all sit there(not likely), but they also do takeout, delivery, and drive thru as well, so those are good options.

We typically come here as often as possible for the last 5yrs. Though obviously that's not all of the time, money constraints lol. I have never had a bad experience at Silverton Road, which is saying a lot for a place this small, and a place I frequent, the only other pace I consistently have had great service at in town(I grew up here) is 'White's' or the 'Kondetori' , and those are old diners, totally different. I eat sushi all over the US, anywhere that I go, and I travel a lot, I haven't been to a place that has as consistent service, great food on the whole, and has a good overall feel to the place, outside of 'Oregano's', which is an Arizona Pizza Bistro chain.

Momiji's Silverton Road also typically have good deals throughout the week, they also have 'All You Can Eat Sushi', if you have 2 or more in your party, and the rules are reasonable, you must finish 75% of your food before ordering another round(there are a couple more as well, pay attention). I recommend, if you want to try a lot of stuff on the menu, and you're very hungry, it's a good option. Otherwise, there are usually good specials, and on the whole the menu is very well-balanced price-wise.

I have tried a majority of the rolls on the menu, and while I may not like everything, it's a matter of personal taste, not quality. Momiji's is well known for their ' Salem Roll' they're the original, but I'm just not a cream cheese person, everyone else I know loves it, and their's is, by far the best of all the other Salem sushi bar versions I've tried. My personal favorite rolls are 'Ocean Bounty' because it really is just a sea food roll and I love sea food, 'Spinal Tap' it is, to be the best balanced fried roll out there and I'm not a huge fan of fried rolls, and 'The Double Sexy' for its overall balance of flavors.

The avocado boat and sushi tower are also two of my favorite things to get outside of regular sushi. It is also worth mentioning that they will do low rice on any roll you order if you ask, that's not something I can think of any other sushi bar doing, its a nice option to have.

While every visit may not be stellar(a visit a couple of months ago had an unreasonable wait time for food after we ordered, but that has only happened that one time), it is never mediocre, the food is always great, the ambience is good, and the staff are usually friendly and helpful.

If you don't mind little 'hole in the wall's type places with cramped quarters, and you like good sushi, I see no reason to not come here. Otherwise, you may want to steer clear if you're claustrophobic(though I was highly claustrophobic and was okay).

God Bless ~Amy

Oh My Gosh. I was honestly not expecting much considering the location but this was hands down the best sushi/Nigiri I have ever had. And I am at a sushi restaurant at least 3x a month... highly recommend the Spicy Scallop Nigiri and the Octopus Salad was top notch. Blackened Ahi Tuna was great and had a beautiful presentation.

Sushi rolls were excellent. Definitely off the main path but when found it's well worth the drive.

I came here because I saw sushi AND crepes... great combo. I could sit and eat the mini salmon rolls all day. I had the "my favorite" crepe and it was fantastic. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Very minimal seating and it got crowded around 5.

Where to eat when you don't want to eat with your parents;) Lively little crowd. Efficient staff. Looks like your going to the bad side of the night driving out there, and when you pull up it looks like it could have been an adult arcade at one time....but the sushi is good. One of the better places in the area. Don't let the condition of the building steer you away.

Really awesome experience for first time eating here. Wife always goes. Not much into sushi but the tiger roll was just perfect. I cut in half and eat smaller sizes so it was more manageable. Not sure why but half bites make sushi lot more enjoyable to eat even though it ruins the roll lol.

Been going here since I was 7. Went in person, everyone was very nice and cordial. Got my order quite quickly. (lunch combo; salem + eel roll, seaweed salad, miso soup and mango mochi {separate from lunch combo}). Momiji's never disappoints!!

Yummy sushi and they have a drive thru! I recomend ordering ahead over the phone if you don't wanna get out of the car. Friendly staff and cozy booths! I got the bumblebee and spinal tap. Both are delicious!

Love the sushi here, and I'm an avid sushi person. My whole family loves their sushi too, plus they do gluten free pretty well!
