Awesome, I have been waiting for this location to open for ever. This place really delivers on the upscaled movie going experience. Great food and a very relaxed movie experience. Best part is they work hard to be attentive with out interrupt the movie. Great date place for a dinner and a show! Theater has spacious seat and reclining arm chairs. Still has that new theater smell.😊

I’m huge Christmas Vacation fan so when I saw that it was showing as a movie party at the draft house I was soooooo excited. It was my first time attending a “movie party” so I wasn’t sure what the expect. We picked our seats like any normal movie but when we got there we were greeted with different props to use during the movies. Before the show we did some trivia and we talked about when to use the props and everyone in costume came down to the front. It made a real sense of community. During the movie it was awesome. We were able to say the best of the best one liners and use the props accordingly. It was way more fun and it made it a unique experience. As for the food and service! Wow! It was awesome. Food delivered to your seats, ordering at any time during the movie, and great food! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will definitely be back!

All this makes for a fantastic experience. Good service/ good food and a great way to spend your weekend.

Love this place! So glad they are open! You dont even have to go see a movie to go there and have their amazing food and drinks! There are 32 Beers on draft! Yum!

Amazing service and the Speciality cocktail are awesome. They had special cocktails for Starwars! The seats were so comfortable and very spacious, Harkins has some new competition!!😁😁

The specialty drinks for the movie we were watching (black widow) were super cool and very tasty. The service was very friendly and timely. The seats and movie theater were also great. The only disappointment was the mozzarella sticks, I think they should of been cooked longer and made crisper, they felt undercooked. Overall though I had a great time and would come back.

This was my first dinner theater visit. I thought it was clean and the employees worked hard and were happy working there. Seems like a nice place for a date. I was late and came during the preview, so I had to have a friend tell me how to order. I recommend, NOT being late to this type of venue. They supply a pen and some paper to order on. Then put paper upright in front of the table. They wisk it away and with good time have your order. The Royal with Cheese was real good. Dr. Pepper mix was just a little off my standard, but still good. Price were similar to a Red Robin. There fries were real good, as well.

Date night was pretty good. Friendly staff and servers and very quick. It is awesome that the theatre shows classics along with new releases. Great selection of mixed drinks, craft and regular beers. Even adult shakes! Food right to our seats was great. Fish and chips and a pizza along with queso and chips. Food was good, reclining seats and the theatre played some old comedy clips from the 60s and earlier. Very refreshing to see something different for a change. Everything is bar or restaurant priced so roughly $10 for entrees, mixed drinks and appetizers but its totally worth the price for a nice evening out. Buy and choose your seat online ahead of time and your tickets are emailed. Different place, great for adults. We will be back. We are totally ready for different.

Went to the Drafthouse for the first time, early morning show on a Sunday. Not the busiest time, so things may look different when it's a full crowd, but it was one of my favorite movie going experiences I have ever had! The seats were very comfortable, the audio and video qualities were incredible, and the food was really really good. I also had a question regarding payment, and the manager Ryan was incredibly helpful and understanding with my question, and was able to quickly solve the problem I had come across. Definitely plan to go there again!

This was our first time at the Dafthouse cinema( Gilbert). Theater was very clean and crew were polite. Directed to our theater and found our seat. Cheated and use cell light to look around spotless. Jeremy was our server( was great) and he explained how to order and what to do if we wanted more. I ordered the Monster burger with fries and a Milk stout and my wife ordered fish and chip with ice tea. Both orders were a good portion and was delicious. We were checked on several time but didn't have room for a Bandy Alexander milk shake we were going to have for dessert. We will be back. Movie, food and drinks are fair price and great place for date night.

If you love beer, spirits, wine mixed in with some great tasting food and an add-on of a great movie to watch then this place is for you! I'm a huge movie goer and love food paired with a pint of great beer. The movie theater is not big but also not small, just the right size for enough people to get served whatever it is they ordered and enjoy the movie. If you have ever been to a Dolby Cinema then this place is for you too. The sound of these Cinemas is amazing, a little loud at times but good.

Now for the food, they have a great sounding selection and they can back it up too. I ordered a Hatch green Chili burger with fries and it was delicious paired with a cold brew of Hefeweizen.I wish I could have posted a picture but it wouldn't have been a great idea taking a picture with the flash on during a movie. The service was great too and the server we had was awesome with everyone there and she did a great and fast enough job. This place is great for Date Nights and it is family friendly too. I really, really recommend this Cinema for any movie or food lover!

Great theater experience! Everything was great. Chairs very comfy, and recline. Many draft drinks from many local breweries. Had a great cookie milkshake. Let's talk about the burger I had... idk what they did but this was probably the best burger I've had in 2019, at least. My wife had the same burger and I confessed that I've thought about it a couple times since we had it. She too was surprised how good it was. The theater is decorated with a lot of cool older posters, gives it a nice touch. Great date night 10/10 will recommend to all. Try the burger!(Royal with cheese)

Great movie dining experience! Took my teen kiddos to see Free Guy. First time here and we were AMAZED! Food was great, big portions and decently priced. Recommend the loaded fries and the fried pickle spears! The server said Alamo is megimg next week and will be called Majestic. Hoping that next time I go, it is the same experience!

This was the best movie theater I've ever been too, you actually have a server to take your order and bring it to you, there is a table and cup holders for your convenience while you watch your movie, their menu has a wide variety of foods / drinks; as well as adult beverages to select from, you have reclining seats, leg space and simply comfortability during the movie. I am rather impressed. Great job Alamo.

The anticipation had been building as neighbors have watched the Gilbert location for Alamo Drafthouse being built. I'm pleased to say it's meet expectations. While it's only in it's first weeks, the food, service and amenities are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to find nice reclining chairs, which is a step up from the other locations I've visited. The local brews and high quality food top off the experience. I'll be coming here often.

Our waitress was bubbly, very nice and quick. Popcorn not that great compared to a regular movie theater, but the nachos and queso were delicious. Granted there were less than 10 people in the theater, but service was excellent. Love their policies about no phones, no talking, no kids. This is a theater for responsible adults. Will be back.

Aside from the other movie goers who asked us to switch seats with their friends and then proceed to be rude, loud and obnoxious even when the staff told them to be quiet or be removed from the theater, everything was really nice and clean. The staff were very courteous. The food was decent, probably overpriced but we had gift cards that paid for everything.

Beautiful theater with a very friendly staff. Parking is easy and convenient. It seems a little odd when you walk into the lobby, because it is not a typical theater look, but it is easy to navigate! Buy your tickets online, and walk right into your theater. Super easy to order and receive food and drinks.
This was a very fun family experience!

I’ve been 3 times now and love it. After reading some of the other reviews, I thought it might be helpful to mention that when you order your food or drinks in the theater, stand your written order in the rail at the front edge of your table so your server can see it. Same goes for refills. The servers watch from the doorway, looking for those slips of paper. They’re not going to interrupt your movie to ask if you need something else, but they will come running if they see that paper. Just make sure it’s standing where they can see it.

If you’d like water that tastes better than what you can get from inside the theater, order it from the bar. It really is better out there 😉

As for the tipping issue someone mentioned, they don’t automatically add a gratuity. There are suggested amounts at the bottom of your receipt, calculated on the full price of your order. If you had something comped or discounted, the suggested amounts are based on full price. But regardless of what it says on the receipt, they’re just suggested amounts. You must fill in the tip yourself.

The managers I’ve met there have been very nice and were eager to answer any questions or handle any complaints, so I would suggest asking questions when you need to and offering feedback before you leave. It’s a brand new facility with a lot of brand new staff and, in my experience, they’re trying to get it right. Give them a thumbs up if they do and maybe offer feedback nicely if something isn’t right.
