Alamo Rent A Car

The check-in went super smooth at the Mesa AZ airport. My husband likes GM so we upgraded to one and it just took a minute more. Staff was friendly and efficient. The car was super clean and we had zero issues. Love the quick and easy return process too. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip for the week!

Got to the rental counter in Mesa, Linda assisted me. She was helpful and professional. They did not have the standard car I requested online and updated me to a full size with no additional fees. A Dodge Charger with a Hemi to boot. Return was effortless and quick. Fair price and less than the other companies at the airport.

I rented a standard SUV from Alamo at the Mesa, AZ airport. The online reservation process was easy, and Alamo offered the best value out of the competitors at the same location. When we arrived at the airport, the desk attendant was courteous, efficient, and helpful. The GMC Acadia must have been very new because there wasn't a scratch on it and the interior was spotless. The return process was nearly as easy. The car return lot was closed for the day when I brought the car back in the evening, so I had to take the keys back to the rental desk in the terminal, which took a little more time than I had planned on. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I will definitely rent from Alamo again.

Received a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The vehicle was very clean. The check-in and return process were easy and quick. The agent at the front desk was very courteous and professional. (I wish I remembered her name) She thoroughly explained the rental details and had us on our way within 10-15 minutes. The gentleman who processed our return was also very courteous and professional. After checking us in, he directed us to the security/TSA check-in gate. It's not easily identifiable from the return lot.

Came into airport and they didnt have the make of car I rented, but upgraded me for the same money into something better! It was a boys weekend and they gave me options of 2 fun cars, my son wanted the charger over the mustang, so we went with it!! Thank you Alamo for a great car, memories that will never be forgotten!!

Pick up and drop off was easy and fast at Phoenix - Mesa airport and rental agents from all counters were helping car renters get their vehicle on Sunday night 2/11 from all the rental agencies. Rental agents vehicle recommendation was helpful and worthwhile. We switched our rental vehicle from an economy model to an SUV and we were pleased with the flexibility, affordability and functionality of the Hyundai Tucson.

Easy check in and check out for Alamo car rental. Care was nice and clean. Shout out to Ron that was there at return, he was very friendly and helpful. Ron has earned his blender.

Quality of van was excellent, drop off was great, reservations were greate. The only negative is that, even after checking-in online ahead of time, we still had to wait in line to get to the front desk at the Mesa airport. Slooooowww.

I booked the car online using a discount with no issues. I checked in at Mesa Gateway airport after a long day of traveling with a small child and my plane landing late in the night. Everything from check in, getting the keys, receiving the carseat, locating the car, and returning was all a breeze. The ladies at the check in counter and the man at the return spot were all extremely helpful and friendly; they really made this entire process as hassle-free as possible.

After a terrible flight, we were met with a lady at the counter that offered us an upgrade. She was very kind and explained where the car was as well as how the check in process worked. She was awesome.
Upon return, we were met with Mike. He helped us retrieve our belongings from the car and we offered him beverages that we could not take on our flight. He was very friendly. I only wish the airline could have been this accommodating!

Extremely quick and professional. Fastest car rental process yet. I extended my rental in the middle of my trip which was simple and painless. I downloaded the app and will certainly make Alamo my go to car rental!!! Thank you

Great experience with Alamo. The process was very easy from start to finish. Friendly and helpful staff at the Mesa Airport Alamo desk, both checking out and dropping off. Car was new and very clean.

It was relatively easy, and stress free after being on the plane. The one thing that is confusing, is all the car rental companies are all together. It doesn’t matter is you have an alamo rental. Its all behind one counter.

Very friendly & efficient staff even though it was very busy at the counter. I had completed online check-in so when I got to the clerk it didn't take long at all. Rental was clean & completely ready to go. Very quick return process & again, friendly staff at return.

I made a grave error when booking the rental. I flew into Phoenix Sky Harbor but set up the rental for Mesa!!! Alamo at Phoenix wanted to charge extra, attributing to a tax difference. Instead I caught an Uber to Mesa. The desk there was very accommodating, offering me the opportunity to return the rental to Alamo at Sky Harbor. After a mix-up with my flight from DCA, then the car mess up, I only wish Alamo at Phoenix Sky Harbor had been a little more understanding. It was only after I was near tears after flying in from Washington, DC that the "manager" was willing to give me the rental for the same price. My emotions were running high and instead I opted to Uber (another $50 out of my budget) to the reservation I originally made. A little sympathy at the onset, instead of asking me to fork over additional monies for an honest error, could have gone a long way. Thanks.

I reserved the medium SUV, when I checked in the only they had available was Mercedes or Jeep available. We took the Mercedes nice car but llittle too small but we survived Mercedes is luxury suv and we didn’t have to pay extra for that. I will use them again next time

Cathy assisted us at Mesa Gateway airport and was so helpful! All questions were answered and she was very courteous. We found our way to the car easily and return was great also!! Great rental car snd company to deal with. Will choose them again!

Despite a lengthy wait initially, customer service was amazing! All agents were very professional and upbeat despite the chaos. Super happy with my experience.

Really easy, seamless process. They upgraded our vehicle for us which really made our trip that much more special. When I went to return the vehicle, I mentioned that when I picked it up, the gas wasn't completely full but I filled it regardless. The guy immediately apologized and gave me a nice credit. Fantastic experience all around.

I would highly recommend renting a car through Alamo. Very friendly staff and good people to work with. They were very thorough stating the rules on how to take care of car and where to drop car off when dropped back off.
