SpringHill Suites by Marriott Alexandria

Large spacious rooms with separate work and mini kitchen space that has a mini-fridge, sink, microwave and coffee maker. Comfortable bed and high water pressure in shower. Couch does not pull out to another bed, but large enough for a 3rd guest. Complimentary parking and breakfast. Coffee served all day, snack bar for purchase and upon check-in received a full size candy bar! Easy walk down hill from Huntington Metro (yellow line)

I was on a two family road trip from Maine to North Carolina staying in various hotels of similar price and size. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was the service that made this an exceptional hotel. The 2 different hostesses Shirley and Toni were amazing. They really made my stay there. The hotel was great also but again the service made this a place I won't forget and if I'm in the area I will stay there again.

Called the front desk, and spoke with Ms Christine and booked only because of her. She answered all my questions, and addressed all of our concerns, and was very welcoming. She made our stay very special in first night ever in Alexandria. Awesome communication and great customer service. Will surely be back. Thank you Christine.

Love this hotel! Very. Convenient and close to DC and surrounding areas. Great customer service, and clean rooms and are newer /updated.

Pleasant staff. Nice clean room. Full size shampoo conditioner and body wash for rooms. Nice size tv. Spacious. Amenities at front desk available. Nice breakfast available. Hoise keeping was very polite. Scrambled eggs, bagels. Hot meat of bacon or sausage available. Milk variety and juice and yogurt. Clean pool and hot tub available with towels. Exercise rooms available. Meeting rooms. Nice view. Washer a d dryer available no charge.

Terrific hospitality when we arrived, Angela was courteous and efficient getting us checked in. The 2 Hershey bars for our Marriott status was a great surprise. Easy access to Fort Belvoir, the Pentagon and the National Harbor. Free breakfast in the morning and coffee all day in the lobby made it easy to work from the hotel room. The room had an efficient design for privacy if staying with a family or working while someone is sleeping. Fantastic value for a DC hotel!!

Room was huge and we moved 3 bikes and bike rack into the room and had plenty of space for all 5 of us. Rooms were clean and no issues. Staff was very helpful. Exercise area was adequate. Very convenient to DC and museums. We would stay again if in the area.

Although check in is 3pm I arrived at 11am and they allowed me to check in right away. Very lovely room only draw back was location of the TV. Can't see it well from the bed. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed here on our visit to DC. A good choice, the breakfast was subpar (there were no make your own waffles, probably for sanitary reasons, and the sausages and eggs were not particularly delicious) but the rooms were clean and it was fairly quiet. The carpets could use a good deep clean, but that's the case with anything that gets foot traffic.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very helpful staff, very clean and comfortable room.

There was a "valve" room that had equipment running so loudly inside, I could hear it all the way at the other end of the hallway. So you don't want a room at that end if you are noise sensitive.

I appreciated the always-on coffee station downstairs.

Hotel is beautiful and clean, the shower experience after a long day on the road was nothing short of luxurious thanks to reliable hot water and perfect water pressure. Tea tree shower soaps where the crowning jewls to the experience. The lovely young lady who checked me in is the hospitality industry embodiment of perfection and when I return I’ll be sure to come on her shift 3-11pm. When I returned after getting dinner I saw she was training someone which made even more happy since that quality of an employee is the perfect person to be training new blood to future provide such excellent service.

My room was modern and stylish with plenty of space for anything I might have brought. The bed was clean and comfortable leading me to get some of the best sleep Iv had in a while. Breakfast at 7am went off without a hitch and I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, yogurt, and muffin before feeling full and happy. I still have a beautiful apple and two granola bars for later, left over from the meal my ticket provided. It was only hunger that forced me from such a comfortable bed in the first place but the breakfast they provided was perfect to get me back to sleep for another hour or so before check out. I would absolutely recommend this location and agree it is very much a hidden gem of Alexandria.

Convenient location, simple but tasty and healthy free breakfast, hot tub and pool, and great staff make this Marriott property an excellent choice. The hotel features free laundry and business services, free shuttles to the metro and Old Town, and very quiet, clean rooms. The hotel is starting to feel a bit in need of a renovation, but the decor is still very nice and the beds are really comfortable. We have a family of five in the suite with two queens and a fold out couch, and we fit just fine. Definitely happy we chose to stay here!

Clean & updated. The suite that we had was very nice! Staff was pleasant & accommodating. Breakfast, included, was fresh & really tasty. Plenty of free parking & lot was easy to access. This hotel has an indoor hot tub & pool, which was welcomed after a long day walking in DC. This hotel is 10 min from the King St Metro Station. We had a very pleasant experience!

Location is good. It was easy to find with GPS. We ultimately chose this hotel because of great ratings, good price, continental breakfast and because it offered a shuttle to the Metro. The shuttle has made day trips to DC super easy. The rooms are spacious and clean. The water pressure is good with really hot water. The beds are on the softer side, but are comfortable. The staff is really courteous and helpful. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us! The FREE breakfast is really quite a surprise. Waffles are served every day. They have Oikos yogurt, delicious scones and good coffee! We are very pleased and would stay again.

They put right on the 1st floor close to the pool. My Kid was Soo happy. I love the room it was very clean and very sleek. I loved breakfast and the best part was we were close to everything. We didn't have to drive far to get to MGM, or the harbor. 10's

Pool n jacuzzi defo worth a visit. Pick your times well and you will own the pool.
Re location, in middle of nowhere, so will need to have mode of transport for ease.

What a beautiful hotel! The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Three cheers for Morgan, my favorite desk clerk. She always had a smile on her face, and helpful advice for a newcomer to the DC area.
I particularly enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet. The variety was great, and everything was so fresh. The bed in my room was perfect, and perfectly made. Towels were fresh and clean. Everything was wonderful.

We stayed for one week while we visited DC. Location is great. An easy metro ride into DC using the Huntington metro. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good and had something for everyone. Our room was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed having the refrigerator and microwave in the room, very convenient. We stayed on the fourth floor on the backside of the hotel and it was very quite. Christian at the front desk was very helpful when we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

The people who work at the desk are top in service and treat you as family not a stranger. It's clean & comfortable. Alex and Michelle were so kind to me as I am handicap and they made sure my needs had been met and treated me with the up most respect. We will be back as well as recommend your Hotel. We had a great experience at this hotel! When we arrived during the July 4th week Fernando at the front desk took VERY good care of us. He made sure that we had all that we needed to have a nice stay. All the staff was extremely professional and do a great job running the place. The breakfast was much more than we expected, full hot breakfast! Will definitely visit again!
