What a cool coffee shop in the heart of the Hill neighborhood. The coffee was wonderful and they also have real fruit smoothies. Interior decor is great. Looks like it was an old bank building. They still have the safe deposit box room. A decent amout of tables to spread out. Definitely will be back!

Ohh, this is what a cappuccino is supposed to taste like! Been a really long time since I had one from a cafe that isn't a Starbucks or other fast food cafe. It's excellent! I like the inside of this place too. The vault is a little, dimmly lit, hangout area.

Very cute little shop with a great atmosphere! You walk into a beautiful old building to be greeted by a welcoming environment of plants, smell of coffee, and friendly staff. Coffee was reasonably priced and good quality. I didn’t see a very large breakfast menu, but small, easy breakfast baked goods were available.

Came here to try some brew coffee and take coffee grounds home. We tried the Italian and the Sulawesi. Both coffees were great, with the Italian being slightly more acidic. I love how many syrups they have available to help you craft your perfect cup. I got my coffee with cookie butter syrup, and oat milk and I would definitely recommend it. We took home two bags of coffee and although on the pricey side ($17.50 for 16 ounce bag) the coffee was too good not to take home. Will definitely be back to try the fall lattes and some food!

Great location in historic building and area. Many fine shops to peruse while enjoying your beverages if you looking to just kick around. Warm and friendly atmosphere with big windows to enjoy while eating some quiche. I’m not the coffee drinker, but my companion is and she really enjoys it. I love supporting local establishments and neighborhoods. Definitely a place to return to.

Does not accept cash. Excellent coffee. Neat atmosphere. Limited food but they have a few things to compliment coffee. Only visited once but I'd really like to visit again!

Who doesn’t love a cool coffee shop? The atmosphere is welcoming and there is plenty of seating inside and out. The coffee amazing! They roast their own coffee which is a huge plus. They have a nice selection of baked goods and the barista was very friendly. If you are visiting The Hill you definitely want to stop by!

Pulls you in the the STL vibe, a Groove you don't notice until you're in it! The aesthetic is fab, it's a bank built in the 20s with the safe deposit vault to boot! The click! bang! whoosh! along with the fresh roasted coffee aroma are beyond inviting. The baristas are adorbs polite and professional.

Serve authentic espresso and cappuccino. Beautiful space with plants, stamped tin ceiling and a large antique coffee roaster. Super!

My husband and I went to Shaw’s Coffee to get a cannoli and coffee for breakfast to start our day! The service was amazing and the breakfast was even better! The atmosphere was relaxing as well! It was an all around fabulous experience and we can’t wait to go back!

First Coffee shop I went to in Saint Louis...and wow they blew out my expectations! It was an old 1920s bank turned into a coffee shop! Food was good, small portions but great coffee and AWESOME environment. It's a must see!

Great coffee and great accessibility! There’s an accessible entrance off Shaw and plenty of tables. If you’re a wheelchair user, the bathroom is spacious, but the location of the sink makes it very difficult to roll up to the side of the toilet for a transfer. Everything else in the bathroom is easily within reach.

the vibes are immaculate. it feels warm and comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. and the view of a functioning roaster from our table was icing on the cake.

Excellent place to grab a cup of Joe. Good service and very clean. When I walked in the smell was so good. I had the iced coffee but I'm sure everything is as good!

Historic bank turned coffee shop provides a unique atmosphere heavily perfumed by the coffee beans they roast in-house! The honey lavender latte and Almond Joy mocha (both iced) are delicious, but pricey. S/O to barista Hannah for her friendliness and St. Louis restaurant recommendations!

Shaw's Coffee is a very cozy, plant-filled local cafe. You can tell they care about the area, the locals, and their coffee! You can enjoy a wide-array of different coffees and teas, and their quiche is awesome! Glad they're in our neighborhood.

Best place to get espresso in Saint Louis in my opinion. Great selection of whole beans to purchase and take home. I use a pour over and so far this has produced some of the best coffee I’ve made at home. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff
