This neighborhood library has always been my go to place when I’m seeking information from very knowledgeable and experienced people in and around the community….everyone is always willing to help with finding information or at least provide the proper directions… Some of the nicest people stop in this neighborhood library… this morning while sitting here in the parking lot and O by the way haven’t yet left the car … I just watched and listened to the sounds around me…parking lot has filled up… perhaps there a program or two scheduled to take place? I’m pretty sure there’s a story time reading this morning for the little ones… coming to the neighborhood library with moms, dads and nannies

This library is huge and it has a great kid space, lots of paintings and tiny kitchens.

The librarians there are really helpful and nice and there was little waiting time because they have a large staff to fit the space.

My first visit to this Alexandria library to drop off donated books. Staff was friendly & helpful. I was able to use a cart for the bags of books.

We just came here to get our passports which was a much nicer experience than I was expected. We took the time to browse through the library which is a really nice library and on the way out we even found a section of books that you can borrow without even having a library card..... Trust system, but that's not the case for the entire library as a heads up

It's a very nice large library the kids come in sumtimes right before or after #StoryTime and be all the way out of hand but hey they are kids so you can bank on that going down because kids are gonna be kids right lmbo.

Large library with open layout. The children’s section is immediately off to the left. It’s inviting with children’s librarians who always take their time with kids to help them find what they are looking for. This location has many kids programs, even during coronavirus, with many virtual and drive-up/pick-up programs where you don’t even have to get out of your car!

The adult section is also laid out well, with several sitting and computer areas, an outdoor garden area accessed from inside near the circulation desk. When walking straight in, fiction is at the rear of the building in the left wing. Nonfiction is opposite and on the right side. Periodicals are at the end of the large open computer area, in between he F and NF sides.

Covid protocols: hand sanitizer stations, occasionally temperature checks, plexiglass partitions, and an easy self checkout.

Wonderful library! Provided me with a lot of resources when I was a floater. Today, I borrowed a Chromebook from them, saving me the time and money to buy a Macbook. A lot of clubs and activities too. My favorite one was the plant exchange. It's a great way for the community to get together! Staffs are also always happy to help. I can't say enough how much I love this library!

My first visit was great. Library staff was helpful and friendly and the collection looks pretty good, altogether. The library also does not charge late fees, so that's a plus.

I have so many memories coming here as a kid! I loved this library and I still do. I remember I always got new books and the games on the computers were so fun. They had a event a few years ago and it was very nice. I’ll always remember this library.

Each time I’ve come to this library location I’m so happy I did. The staff, in particular the lady who has assisted both times at the front desk, is so helpful and nice. I’m new to the Alexandria library system so it took me a bit to figure it out and they were able to assist without judgement. Definitely will be going back to this location for help from the nice librarian.

I love this library! Wide selection of books, amazing facility and classes, and easy to get to by bus, walk, etc.

I have been a library customer for years and years. Very satisfied with what they offer. They have a very good selection and their branches are close enough together that if one branch does not have something you can easily go to another. Yesterday an item was checked out from Beatley but they had it at Burke. They also have a nice collection of books for sale. I have found items that I have never seen anywhere else.

I so loved this library. I felt like I was walking into a castle. The architecture is just beautiful. The staff were super helpful. I was able to get my library card right then. Oh, and the grounds are very peaceful, with spring coming it was all very enchanting!

great selection of books in good condition. spacious interior with great climate control. plenty of quiet workspaces. plenty of convenient parking. intriguing architecture. bath rooms are clean but could use some remodeling.

I had such a nice first visit to this library today. An employee named Raven helped me at the library and she was so kind and helpful. The process of getting a new library card was easy and efficient. The building was beautiful and there seemed to be plenty of parking.
