I've been going to Destress for deep tissue therapeutic massage for about a year. Highly recommend to friends and family. Sometimes it can take a few weeks to get in with my preferred massage therapist, but she's worth the wait. Their advanced level therapist have more training and certifications, and have an excellent understanding of body mechanics.

I've been to Destress Express numerous times. The name is very fitting. The staff is very welcoming and are sure to make customers feel comfortable. They offer several different massage lengths and many services. I'll be making more regular visits.

Destress is exactly that. Stress begins to melt as you walk into building. The rooms are very relaxing and soothing. Brittany is beyond educated in her field and continues to educate herself. She is amazing. I drive over 40 minutes to get to Destress and it’s absolutely worth it.

Highly recommended this place. It was recommended to me by my client. I’ve never had a good massage ever since I moved in Virginia. My masseuse was Marcell, very respectful, knowledgeable and love his technique. I fell asleep, and when I woke up; I felt like I have a new body. That’s how good it was. Will come back soon!

When I called, it was very easy to set up the appointment I wanted. As always the massage I received was excellent. The stiffness and uncomfortableness I had been feeling prior to the massage disappeared by the time the massage was over. I am suffering from sciatica along with the stretching exercise my doctor gave me this massage. Worked miracles for me.
I would recommend this for anyone who felt they needed a massage or had any tension.

I always have had a good experience here & regular clients get to know the staff & often more than one therapist. I think the only time I ever had a "less than pleasant" experience was as covid restrictions started & who wouldn't be on edge then. It was likely my fault- the point is that you will get treated well whether you come in once or become a regular client.

**I strongly suggest explaining any special areas of focus you have,& if you have something like fibromyalgia (etc), letting them know if you need a certain skill set so you can get best paired with someone. Also, just explain ahead of time whether you mind talking. I don't suggest letting yourself get upset if they speak to you during the session & have no idea that you don't like that. Some clients are nervous talkers, for example, so just tell them know if you prefer a more silent session. Best for both parties. I believe the staff really does care about their clients.

This massage place is amazing! Service and staff is awesome. Floyd is a gifted massage therapist. Always professional and I leave relaxed and super rejuvenated. This place is nothing short of excellent service.

My wonderful husband paid for me to get a prenatal massage and manicure as an anniversay gift. He chose Destress Express specifically because I mentioned that they use/carry Eminence Organics products, which I absolutely love.

I've been going to Destress Express for over 15 years now and they never disappoint. All of the staff are considerate and helpful. Megumi is very gentle when doing my pedicures due to the nerve damage that I have and so is Michelle with my massages. They really listen to their clients and go above and beyond to help in any way possible.

Literally my favorite place in the Hampton Roads area. Every service provider was amazing but my all time favorite was Stephen who is in chiropractor school. The room was always a vibe and he educated me on how to stretch to prevent long time injuries. Want to def throw in an honorable mention for Jedi and Thi!! My wife loved Nathan, went to him consistently for a long while for deep tissue work! Customer service is amazing as well!! Truly adore this place!

I have been getting therapeutic massages for nearly 20 years and nothing beats Destress. I have lived in the area for about 7 years and tried multiple other places. Today, needing a knot released in my neck and finding no availability elsewhere, I have Destress a go. I will never go anywhere else. Troy relieved the neck issues and found many of the problems that have plagued me for years. His pressure was deep but never uncomfortable. If you have not gone here before, quit that other place and make an appointment here.
