The Club Car

Fell in love with this place, both the atmosphere and the menu, upon a recent visit for Sunday brunch. The waitress was kind enough to guide me through the cocktails menu, which included some drinks that weren’t gluten free, and let me know the entire menu (!) was gluten free - they can sub out gluten free bread in any of the toasts. I had the shakshuka with 2 pieces of what tasted like homemade gf toast and a painkiller and was blown away by both. Definitely going back.

I love Club Car, and particularly love the staff, but what keeps me coming back every night is that delicious Paloma Kayla slings! If you are one of those who likes small plates(tapas) with amazing cocktail Club Car should be on top of your list to visit on Nantucket! Oh they also have a live pianist and you can request whatever song and the pianist will make it happen! I mean, you can’t beat that! :)

Heard good things about this place from different people and decided to go for a dinner with our friends.
The food was super delicious and reasonably priced, also came out very well timed. New atmosphere was cozy and nicely done.

Only had drinks in the actual club car spot but loved it!!! Drinks were well priced and made perfectly! Will be a go to spot in the future!

Such a cool place! Oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the cocktails are great.

Everything was great! The halloumi was a great take on the classic Mozzarella sticks. The sauce it comes with is to die for. The lamb with pear couscous was excellent!

Amazing food. You have to try their clam chowder!

Small plates, great service, fun atmosphere. I've tried at least 6 items on their menu and was crazy about all of them except one. Highly recommend this place!

Michael one of the managers gave us a memorable night. His generosity and hospitality and personality was a treat! My friends and I had a great time and loved the food and drinks. really cool that they also have IPA’s and a wide selection of liquors

Our party enjoyed drinks and appetizers here. We did not have a reservation but the staff were still able to accommodate our small party. The staff were very very friendly, cocktails were lovely. I recommend the skillet shrimp appetizer. I also tried the lemon gelato which was perfect, very fresh tasting. Took me a while to get round to visiting the Club Car after several visits to the island. Very glad I did. Thank you!

Creative and delicious food - I particularly loved the stripped corn salad. It was a delightful twist on one of my favorite dishes. Cocktails were a joy, wine list is well curated, staff is friendly and attentive. Really, you can't go wrong!

Truly exceptional place, beautiful clean decor that is uncluttered without being stark. We shared an assortment of small plates, the roasted stuffed dates, the gazpacho, the Spanish style tortilla, the stuffed pequillo peppers, everything was first-rate. Tight menu of wines and beers, thoughtfully chosen to match the menu. Be sure and order a round of toasts for the table - the bread they use is one of the best I've ever tasted. Highly recommended, although probably not ideal for small children. This is a very grown-up place.

Love the new Club Car! Gluten free and vegetarian options abound. We love to get the chef’s choice and share plates to try it all. And brunch is amazing as well! Come with an open mind and leave with a full and happy belly. 🤗

We went to Club Car -- an institution on the island -- many years ago but this past summer went in for early evening snack/drink before walking to friends' for dinner. The old place (as I remember it) was a little dark and the food was OK. What a difference!

I guess new owners took over earlier this year and the whole place is really great. Bright, sunny, happy and the food is incredible! Healthy and fresh. We only ended up having a couple of shared apps (avocado toast, which has smoked fish was really delish) and a cocktail but we came back the next night for dinner. My husband is gluten free and he had so many options to choose from. I had the mushroom toasts (to die for). So was the roast chicken for a main course.

Really recommend this for a romantic but fun night out. Also, they have live music which was a total surprise. Love it. HIghly recommend!

I have a lot of food allergies, which can make it difficult to eat out--especially with a large group. The staff and chef at Club Car were amazing! They took my allergies very seriously--the chef even wrote down the ingredients in everything that I ordered for me to check just in case I forgot to mention anything. To top it all off, everything tasted amazing! If I ever make it back I'll be sure to stop in again.

The newly updated and redesigned Club Car is amazing. The renovation rejuvenated a Nantucket classic. My husband and I went for dinner with a group of friends last week, and were not disappointed! Inventive cocktails, fresh and thoughtful cuisine. The service is warm and attentive. Already looking forward to my next meal there!

This place has been a treat for my family and friends! The food is spectacular and they keep on surprising us with their ability to innovate and blend all sort of unique ingredients and flavors together in a single dish.

Highly recommend this restaurant for travelers, visitors, and locals!
