Nantucket Bookworks

This has to be one of my top ten favorite bookstores, here is why:

1. The location is where the action is downtown. It’s easily accessible and in a beautiful location surrounded by shops and restaurants. So, get a book and get some coffee down the block.

2. The atmosphere and decor/design is thoughtful and enjoyable to spend time in. The space is clean and well put together. It’s one of those spaces that draws you in and makes you want to stay.

3. Great selection of products! Books and other items including a large chocolate selection located in the back of the store.

4. One of the most amazing kid sections I’ve seen in a bookstore. The space was designed for and is inviting for children. Huge win for parents coming to visit that want to look for a book for everyone.

5. Friendly staff!

This little bookshop is packed with treasures and brimming with charm! Who can resist a small doorway? Or a giant gumball machine, or stuffed radishes from Jellycat? You will also find lots of great children’s books about Nantucket, great for souvenirs. And it’s pup-friendly! Banjo got a warm welcome and a treat during our visit!

Absolute best service, selection and design. It’s truly magical. In addition to books, they have an assortment of candies, candles and more!

Best bookstore in town - orders are speedy and the books are in perfect condition. It's got a great selection of all kinds of books, and fun to browse. If I ever need a gift, that's also the place to go (also a very well selected and humorous group of cards in the back). Very kind and helpful staff, I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so!

Absolutely the best out there! The knowledge and expertise is amazing. Now my 'go to' for all my books- they are great at recommending, and quick to get back to me. Visiting in person late summer!

Our island favorite. So happy to have independents on Nantucket. Our children cherish their time there (as users and staff!) and remain "hard book users" today.

Great bookstore. I can tell (for science fiction, at least) that the book selection is curated by actual people based on their favorites.

This is another of my must visit when I'm on Nantucket.
