Great spot to stop for drink before or after diner…

Drink: imaginative versions of classic cocktails - hootenanny is fantastic

Service: friendly, welcoming, acknowledged and order taken w/ 5 min of walking in even though busy and had to stand waiting for space at table or bar to open up.

Atmosphere: super cool… from moment you stooped to enter through the 2/3 door int the basement. :-)

Ethos has the most effortless feeling of luxury that a semi-underground bar can have. The wait staff was attentive, the quick pick wine list was comprehensive, and the ambiance was impeccable. Make sure to get the window seats for a street level view of the bustle of town.

This is the best new spot in Nantucket hands down. Incredible wine selection, great food, knowledgeable staff, and perfect service. We went in for a glass of wine at happy hour and I couldn't tell you what time we left, but it was several bottles later. We will be back every time we visit. If you're looking for a boutique wine bar with good vibes and great vines this is it. Ask for Gracie and see if she will tell you the funniest story I've ever heard about a guy named Brad who left the island in a plane that wasn't his. Thank you Ethos for the hospitality!

This is one of the best little finds on Nantucket. Just off the town center across from the JC House, this wine bar delivers a wide range of excellent and unique wines from Europe, California and South America. Plus, the food is delicious and attentive service to boot!!

An incredible curation of fantastic wine and tasteful bites. Impossible to have a bad glass of wine or cocktail here. Oysters were impeccably shucked and local. If you’re looking for a meat and cheese board, they have perfected it. Cozy vibes and tasteful snacks. Will be back ASAP.

Ethos is the hot new spot in town and a must visit when you’re on Nantucket. The food is absolutely delicious and the wine and cocktail selection has something for everyone. The vibe they’ve created in this space is something you have to experience for yourself.

A no reservation walk in right in the centre of Nantucket - with fantastic food, perfectly chilled wine and really lovely staff - just go there, have the overly generous prosciutto and melon and follow up with little necks and the crab in lettuce we washed everything down with a bone dry chilled Sauvignon and it was fantastic! 10/10

Cozy vibes and super knowledgeable about wine. Here for the weekend and made this place a stop every night. New favorite spot on the island.

It was a great night, the menus are great, the atmosphere is great, only the wine prices are a bit too high, I definitely recommend it.
