Hertz Car Rental - Alexandria - South Pickett HLE

Typically I rent from the airport when I need a rental, but I decided to try this particular branch. Wow, It was such a great decision!
If you ever called a car rental office you know that it's extremely hard to speak to a live representative. Prior to renting from this location not only was I able to speak to live person, I was also given the details of the classes of vehicles that were available. Sometimes you can book ,and what you need is not available. The conversation was very pleasant and you could tell this branch values their customers. Once I arrived at the physical location everyone spoke and greeted me; which is not often done, and went above to make sure I was satisfied as a customer being as though there were a few discrepancies with my contract. (The Hertz App has a mind of it's on).
This location will definitely be my new primary rental. The car I was given was extremely clean! If you've rented a car you know most company's barely wipe down the steering wheel after the cars have been in use. I want to thank Andre A who is the branch manager for leading such a great team of individuals, and taking time to assist me while you were handling a corporate situation. If I could give more stars I would as you, Nikra M., and Nicholas F. provided me with superb customer service. Please trust that any and everyone I'm connected with that needs a car rental will be pointed in your direction! Keep doing what you're doing!

Always the best customer service especially the young man with the cool curly fro. I probably bypass a few Hertz closer by my home. However I feel it's worth the travel to use this Hertz.

I rented a car for a day. Everything went smoothly! Check in was easy, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The car inside was very clean and easy to navigate. Return of car was equally as smooth too. I will continue to use this hertz in the future. Thanks guys!

Andre and Marcus were helpful and friendly in getting me out the lot. The first two cars they gave me had service lights turned on, but they were accommodating and switched me out to a different car for peace of mind even after they verified that the cars were not due for a service. Hertz could probably do a better job with maintenance of their cars, but the customer service at this location made up for it!

I don’t know why they have a bad review. The guy at the front assisted me really good and provided me with a car of my choice, I even requested for the car to be cleaned and they got it cleaned while I was at the office in less than 5min. Thank you for your service. Will definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a rental car:)

Every time I rent a car from this location, I like to update my review. Once again, I had the best experience at the S. Pickett location. Andre and his staff remembered me from the last time I rented; Andre went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer.

I love the convenient location of this Hertz Rental Car and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

NOTE: It's a small location, so book your rental as far as you can in advance to ensure that your reservation is honored.

This location usually has a nice selection of very clean vehicles, but again book your rental at least 3 to 7 days in advance to ensure your reservation is honored.

Needed a Car asap an Andre a Marcus got me the Tesla I wanted a the best price in town. I am a salesman myself a these two guys were on point a the establishment was very clean, thanks again guys a please go see these guys if you need a rental.

Everyone was really helpful! I was renting from State Farm and the process was really easy and fast. I just came from three Enterprises and they all didn't have any cars but Hertz was able to provide me with a car and when I wasn't familiar with the gear shift on one, they let me choose another one. Return was also a quick process and the cars were clean and nice !

I rented a car couple of weeks ago. The two employees working there Lia and Alfonso are just supremely amazing agents. Professional, smart, they were super helpful and they gave me options that suits my needs. I rented electric car, but didn’t know how to drive it and wanted to go back to normal gas. They were very kind and understanding, it took almost no time to explain and to execute. I’ll post this review on Google as this branch of Hertz is THE BEST

We had a great experience, the manager Ayo did a great job making sure we were in a nice car - gave us an upgrade because the vehicle requested was not ready. Really happy we rented from this location. Keep up the good work guys.

After a nightmare rental car experience at Enterprise, I came over to Hertz and had such a dramatically better customer service experience I just had to write this review. Andre Alexander went way above and beyond to accommodate my request because of a disability. It's so rare to find great customer service that is this good anymore. I highly recommend this location.

The reason I have been a loyal Hertz customer for many years is because of people like Joanna at this location and her staff members.
Joanna is very hospitable and courteous. She and her staff always try their best to make their customers happy. When I arrived to pick up my rental, the car was clean and everything was ready. There were health and safety measures in place, and everyone was being careful to remain socially distanced.
I highly recommend this location!!!

I needed to change my reservation due to a death in the family. The manger at this location along with the friendly staff took care of my urgent situation without question and made sure there was a car available without any hassle (and even honored my same rate without me having to ask). Major thank you to Joanna, Cooper and Colin for going above and beyond during such a sensitive time in my life!!!! I couldn’t thank you enough!!!

I recently rented a full size Nissan Ultima from this location of Hertz and was very pleased with customer service there. Sebastian and Brian were very accommodating with making the rental experience very enjoyable. Both of them went above and beyond to ensure that my Hertz rental experience would be "memorable." I can honestly say they succeeded in this goal. I highly recommend renting your next rental car from this Hertz location.

We rented a Nissan Pathfinder for our party of 6. Great experience. The front desk was very helpful. When it was time to return it and we were stuck in downtown DC, they were very accommodating! I would rent from them again in a heartbeat!

Amazing customer service and I called and was able to pick up the car same day. The two guys who helped me were superb. Got me in and out quickly. Great customer service.

I received my vehicle quickly through the professional at hertz. She also gave me option on where to park my personal vehicle. The whole experience was easy and effortless.
