Gabriel and his team are top notch. We had a wonderful time last evening. Atmosphere is charming, light music in the background ranging in the timeless classics. Our server was attentive and very polite. The food was amazing. A wonderful evening for my wife and I.

This place is a must. Got there a bit early and started at the bar, then had our dinner in the main dining room.

The vibe at the bar is different, quite lively and energetic but loved it. Got some great cocktails and the martini with blue cheese.

The dining room itself was very refined, loved the decor and candlelit dinner table.

The prix fixe menu was very reasonable and beyond worth it.

The stars of the evening were the tuna (served rare) and the scallops— the clam bake was also great and had generous portions of lobster

Also had the watermelon panna gotta and it was great.

Great food, Not just good. Really special, intriguing dishes. Exceptional wine list tended by knowledgeable, friendly, charming sommelier, Danielle. Attentive service.
Straight Wharf is where my wife and I have celebrated our last four anniversaries (49-52).

Our best dining experience on Nantucket for the 2023 season. All courses skilfully prepared and beautifully presented. The table service was outstanding. Intuitively attentive, discreet, elevated the excellent cuisine. We highly recommend dinner at Straight Wharf for its polished sophistication.

Food was great, service was outstanding. (Skip the ribeye though, average, stick with seafood.) It's also fabulously expensive of course, but that's not a flaw, it's your choice. We very much enjoyed our dinner here.

5 stars across the board. Service is excellent, with knowledgeable staff. The drinks and wine list is extensive. A seafood lovers dream, with every entree fresh and plentiful. It's very busy, but you wouldn't know as they don't rush you out. I highly recommend dining here!

Fantastic dinner. The feta appetizer was perfection and the chicken thigh pasta with broccoli was amazing. Would definitely return.

By far the best meal (food wise) on the island. Amazing 1st courses and very flavorful mains. I went with the gapacho for my first course. It was hands down one of the best i've ever had along with the bluefish patte (amazing and both 10/10 dishes). My main I had the ribeye steak. It was accompanied with grilled peaches, cherries, mint along with a balsamic reduction sauce that was very tastefully done. All in and this was my best experience food wise on the island BY FAR. Many restaraunts are sub-par or average with great atmospheres. I will certainly be back.

Food was incredible from start to finish. I dont usually write reviews but I am compelled to do so as the dishes are crafted by an obvious master. Finest food I have had on the cape.

Simply outstanding! Our meals were bold, creative, and a complete success. Pure genius. The service was equally outstanding. The staff were attentive, and the service was near perfection. This restaurant was pure excellence. A shoutout to Lucas and Sam for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Every trip we make to Nantucket has to include a dinner at SWR. Consistently our favorite meal every year and an overall superb experience. There is something to be said for knowing year after year the food will be great, the service will be top tier, and we will end our meal with the AMAZING rosemary short bread. 10/10

Always feels like home when dining here, but with MUCH better cuisine. The food is incredible. Clam Bake and Galette are Must Haves!

We went to Straight Wharf for my bday recently. Service continues to be outstanding. Wine list is strong and sommelier was helpful. Menu felt a little stale to me, but, admittedly, I have been calling Straight Wharf one of my favorites for about 10 years. It would be great if they added a dessert that wasn't heavily dairy based or fruit. (Like a great choc chip cookie or some biscotti.)

We stopped by for appetizers and drinks while we waited for the ferry, dirty martini and bourbon of course. Unfortunately we left behind a package on the floor but they mailed it to us. In addition to a great experience at the restaurant, they have great customer service! We will definitely return next time we are in Nantucket and encourage you to do so as well.

The food was delicious. Our waitress Maggie was so so sweet. She was awesome and made our night perfect. We had such a good evening and would definitely recommend coming here!!!!

Best bar and restaurant on the entire island. You can get an amazing white table cloth dining experience overlooking the harbor or sit at the bar and order from the bar menu. Great cocktails and nightlife too. Bartenders are excellent even when super busy. Make sure you order the swordfish and a goombay smash!
