Quality Inn Mount Vernon

My goodness I love this business for so many reasons. I've stayed here many many times and each stay has been beyond excellent for me. I support and help 2 siblings that have been in and out of hospitals for 2 years. I chose Mt. Vernon Quality Inn because of the easy driving distance to visit both of them. I am always greeted and welcomed by the excellent staff here. they treat me like family and remember me each and every stay. I feel so comfortable and safe being here. The rooms are clean, roomy, comfortable, convenient, great amenities including breakfast room and laundry room. These were important to me for lengthy stays. There is outstanding security on site 24/7. Very close to restaurants and shopping. A pool, which I have not accessed because I seem to be here when it is fall/winter and it is an outdoor one. Looks nice though. Rooms have super comfy and clean bathrooms, refrigerator, microwave, safe, TV, internet and well lighted areas. The staff Tanya, Christy, Angela, Ale, Miguel and many more are extremely professional and personally sweet and nice assuring I feel safe and appreciated. This will always be my favorite place to unwind and relax after taking care of family. I live in Upstate NY so I travel to Virginia often. This hotel is perfect and reassuring for me to book reservations. I couldn't make a better choice for value and quality. The lobby is always decorated so nice each and every time I stay. They also are pet friendly and I have taken advantage of this benefit. Thank you very very much for your EXCEPTIONAL service and kindness. Please know I appreciate your sincere support while I deal with family health issues and thank you for always asking how they are doing. A wonderful and pleasant place to stay. I think one of the best hotels to stay is if you are nearby to Washington DC, its little bit far from DC but it is well connected with Metro, Road as well as the Ronald Regan National Airport. Of course, the price is much more affordable.

For a 2.5 star hotel, they definitely exceeded my expectations. Pretty good location with clean and spacious rooms at a reasonable price. There were partygoers in some of the 1st floor rooms, but luckily we were on the 2nd floor near the end where it was fairly quiet. Plenty of parking, and check-in was straight-forward.

It was a quick stay. We got into town around 130am-2am. They had one room left after check in hours which was great cus the long drive we needed to crash. Double bed room, it was clean, fixtures was cleaned and working, bathroom area was pretty big and spacious, and bed I found comfortable.

I had to make a last minute reservation to visit my father in the hospital. The lady running the desk on Wednesday evening was very accommodating and nice. I had a 2 queen bed room. It was big with a large bathroom with 2 sinks. The continental breakfast great. The value was good enough that I decided to stay 2 weeks and catch up with family while I'm here. Thanks!

This was a great choice for our family. It was clean, good location, and the breakfast was better than most. We especially liked the waffles, snack bars, apple sauce and yogurt.

VERY GOOD PRICED, BUT A FEW MINUTES LONGER COMMUTE TO THE DCA AIRPORT. Close to the Airport you could find a good hotel but the parking is far or expensive and not practical for a family with strollers, portable cribs, so this was very convenient: free parking in front of your room, room was clean and fine.

The Hotel Housemaids are pretty nice too!! They stay busy in cleaning the Rooms and the room itself is pretty big and the beds are quite comfortable yet firm (which I prefer anyway). We receive plenty of towels and wash cloths and even asked if I need any.
Breakfast is okay. I just wish they had flavored creamer and bigger cups but its a nice breakfast bar.

We stayed fourteen days and had a great experience. The value compared to other area motels was really good. The staff was friendly and efficient. They called every day to see if we needed anything from housekeeping. There was a newspaper available every morning. The grounds and outside were well-kept. This is an older motel but if you can look past the little things like torn lamp shades it is a place we will stay again.

Even though this is an older motel, it's clean as a pin! The room was spacious. Loved having an iron, coffee maker, and hair dryer at our disposal. The free breakfast was wonderful. They had a wonderful selection; eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, muffins, bagels, dry cereals. And last but not least, Christie in the front office was fabulous. She gave us great information on how to get into the city and was super friendly.

Front desk staff was very progessional and friendly, room was very clean, and the grounds were nice. Free hot breakfast wasn't amazing, but it had waffles and eggs and enough to go back each day. Plus there was a Denny's next door in case you want a bigger breakfast. Hotel was around many other popular restaurants which was great for us. Pretty far from D.C. itself but we didn't mind driving in. Overall a very nice experience! We would stay again.

Clean, comfortable and easy access with very reasonable and competitive orices. Breakfast average fare but plentiful. Christy at the front desk very pleasan, efficient and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for an area budget motel that feels more upscale than expected.

For the price, the best hotel in the area. Professional staff. Asked for early check in, got it. Asked for room change, got it. Asked for accommodations for a +1, got it.

This Quality Inn was terrific! We enjoyed our stay here and the staff...let me tell you. They were TERRIFIC! We will definitely return when in the area again. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They checked (and waited on hold for several minutes) on what it would take to get into the Washington monument tour and helped us out with so much advice for visiting DC. They also gave great advice on driving into DC and not getting bus passes. And...how to find parking (SpotHero APP) The staff told us so many things to make our stay more enjoyable and educational. So much help offered which they didn’t have to do. We chose to stay a second night because of them. Oh yeah, the room and breakfast was good too. No complaints!

I came here for work for 2 weeks. The staff is truly great and treated us well the entire time. Had a couple problems with the toilet & shower but I work night shift so I didn’t want to bother staff. It’s clean and nice. The area isn’t the best. There are homeless people constantly sticking around, a little bit down the road, always in your face asking for money. The hotel has a security guard, so you’re safe here. Him and the staff are always paying attention to the cameras. So if you are in the area, this would be the place to stay.

Edit: I checked out like an hour after I posted this. As I was checking out, front desk mentioned my post & immediately apologized and said they would inform maintenance asap. Like I said, very friendly staff!! :)

Located at Virginia. It's very close to Washington, DC. Room we rented was good, and was very affordable. For the price we paid, it was worth it. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was large complete with TV, fridge, safe and microwave, and the beds were very comfortable. They were serving free breakfast, which made it all the more worth it.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but our stay was very nice. The rooms are nice and spacious, clean, and the air conditioning wasn't set on super-cold when we walked in. The landscaping around the building and pool are very attractive and well-maintained. All five of us could get on the wifi with no issues. We needed a roller bed and it was delivered in less than 2 minutes. The pool was clean and had toys for kids (balls, etc.). Breakfast was a standard selection of foods but they have an outdoor courtyard so we ate outside next to a large fountain--my kids loved it. There are little benches tucked in corners so you can get away from your loved ones for a few minutes when your affection has been replaced with a real respect for living childless (if you haven't travelled with kids, disregard that). Staff was friendly and quick. We would gladly stay here again.

STAY HERE. After crossing half the country, I was surprised and happy at the quality (no pun intended) I received at this great hotel. Service was outstanding. I had a clean room, nice shower and towels, a good mattress, oh-so-soft sheets, and good breakfast. Would stay again and definitely recommend to my family and co-workers.

We were visiting friends in the DC area and needed a place to sleep overnight. Quality Inn Mount Vernon was a great pick. Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was on par with most hotel breakfasts we have experienced. Room doors open to the outside, but we were never concerneded about the safety. We would definitely stay here again.

Absoutly amazing hotel. I'm staying here with some of my family, and so far it's absoutly amazing (Room 135). When I first opened the door, my eyes where drawn to the beds. They looked beautiful and clean. However the sheets did feel a little stale, but I didn't mind that. The only things I didn't really fancy was the curtains and carpet and the pool times. The curtains and carpet look a little out dated, and the pool closes at 9pm. I can understand why that's reasonable, but personally I would prefer 9:30pm. But those are very small things to worry about. I also loved that the pool was warm and had multiple pool ladders. It also looked very clean. This should be a 5 star hotel. 11/10 will definitely stay again.
