To start off with being nervous about the housing market and uncertain of what the future would be as the interest rates were starting to climb to the inflation curb.
I was contemplating selling my home as I was planning on retiring and interested in relocating to a warmer climate.
I decided to reach out to a local Realtor by the name of Ken Ingalls and go over expectancies of valuation and the process for listing my home and getting it ready for the market.
I met with Ken, and we discussed the high and low points of the sale of my home, options for improvements, what current buyers were interested in as well as what was needed to help market it.
He was very familiar with local trends and strategies and all that would be involved in the sale process for my home which were needed to make it a more interesting appeal to buyers.
Ken was very knowledgeable regarding the Dracut area which I have lived in for over 26 years, he even stopped over and helped paint a few rooms for me, repaired some screens in the house as he had a prior background in construction.
Overall, he seemed very eager and helpful to me on getting my home ready and to guide me through this process and worked very hard doing it all, he was super responsive to texts, email and phone calls no matter what time of day it was which help put me at ease during this stressful time.
He recommended me out to another Realtor from his Brokerage office out of the South Carolina location to assist me with finding a home in that area.
He was able to get my home ready in such a short time between repairs, cleaning, staging the home as well as doing all the photography and drone imaging he used for taking pictures of my home for the MLS system.
The pictures and staging were great and beautiful as well as his preparation and staging for the upcoming open house which had fresh cut flowers and professional cleaning done on the home prior.
We had multiple offers, which we accepted one of them only 2 days after the open house we were very happy with.
