Butcher Dog Park

We stopped on to this park on a break during a long drive. The dog park is part of a much larger park that has a sport court and playground. The dog area is quite large. There are separate areas for small and large dogs. The best thing is more than half of the dog park is covered in turf. Dogs love turf. It's very clean and people are friendly. It's in a good part of town.

This is a really great dog park. There is plenty of seating, shade, turf for the dogs to play on and 2 separate spaces for big and little dogs.
I think it's important, especially when it's busy, to really watch your dog and make sure they're having positive interactions with other dogs. Things can always go sideways very quickly if 2 dogs aren't getting along and no one is paying attention.

Really nice small dog park. There are shade and seats, also fresh water pump for the dog! Big dog and small dog sections are next to each other. Pretty good view on both side. Hard to get parking on the street when it gets late in the afternoon. Otherwise really enjoy

He's a Bahboo, he's a cute and cuddly- wuddly Bahboo. He's a fuzzy-wuzzy and sometimes part bunny Bahboo! A Bahboo-Wahboo!

My dog loves coming here! He is only 10 lb in weight so we go into the small dog area. It's kept clean it looks great, especially with the new artificial grass in the play area.

This place is such a great dog park. There are two little parks one for small dogs (40 lbs and under) and one for big dogs (40+ lbs). It is equipped with bowls, a water fountain, tennis balls, pooper scoopers, and poo bags. We went on a Sunday afternoon when it was kind of busy, but my dog loved meeting pups and it was overall a great experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Very nice dog park that is divided into two sections per dog sizes. Gets four stars from me as some maintenance is needed. Gets five stars from the puppy.

Great dog park. It looks really well kept and has everything a dog park would need. There’s water and water bowls, tennis balls and grass + dirt. There’s also pooper scoopers and bags if you need. There’s a big park separate from the small dog park, so it's really pretty perfect.

Nice clean park and dog park enclosure. The park itself is also fun for kids with a jungle gym and good, ample space for sports and running around. Lots of street parking nearby.

Great place for the pooches...I take my Golden at least a few times a month and have had no problems. It's roomy, dogs and dog-parents are all very nice. Lots of chairs and some benches and always available water bowls kept full by caring people. Two areas for small and large dogs, lots of room for them to run.

Butcher Dog Park happens to be one of my favorite locations to bring my Giant Schnauzers for almost 5 years. I have enjoyed to see my pups grow and socialize with those of the same species. This location is so popular that parking can be a pain. There are 2 sides labeled for large and small dogs. Summer times are cool when there is a kid pool, my babies obviously love it.
I'd strongly suggest swinging by and see your pups having fun and surf on the turf (fake grass).
Now remember that this is a dog park- a place for dogs to socialize. Some owners can be rude, some can be antisocial so don't take it personal.

My dog says it is a great place to run around with dogs like him. He has fun playing and the community is really great there. There is also terrible basketball courts and a huge field where people play soccer and do other things. I saw a playground too, so pretty much a great park where you can do anything your dog sized heart desires.

A great park to take you dog for a walk. Lots of dog trainers here to work with their packs or individuals. There is an off leash dog park here too, dog parks are always a "at your own risk" situation. If you choose to let your dog into the gated off leash areas, be sure to observe the dogs and not look at your phone the whole time. There are restrooms and water fountains on site. Parking is usually easy to find.

Butcher Dog Park has separate play areas for small and large dogs and ample space to run and play. There are benches to rest on if needed, and water access for the pups if they get thirsty.

This dog park has it all. A large dog area and a small dog area with plenty of seating and shade. There's a water fountain for the dogs and easily refillable bowls. Restrooms are nearby and parking is close. There is a dual gate system making it easy to get the dogs on or off leash without escapees
I take two dogs, one small and one large. They both go into the large dog area. I've never had an issue with any dogs or dog owners. Owners are respectful and friendly

This is attached to a larger park with playground equipment, picnic benches and a ball field. You can get into the dog park directly without going through the other areas

It was nice had a very good day with the family and the people were just as friendly as the animals lol

This is a dog park. Dogs hate cycles. A small sausage dog chased me from the entrance to the cycle parking. Luckily it was inside the fenced area for dogs to play with other dogs off leash.
Aside from that irritating incident, it's a nice park. Clean and spacious. There's barbecue pits and grassy open lawns and a basketball court and a kids playground. Picnic benches as well as metal benches are available. Imagine a fun day trip here, with a picnic meal. Tire the kids out while you lie back and enjoy the sun. 💖 Sit still and watch birds and squirrels enjoy the park. Grab a snack from the food truck in front. Visit again.
