Porter Mountain View

Absolutely gorgeous, worth a quick stop if you enjoy nature photography.

This was truly a beautiful view. The luscious green vegetation is not something I'm use to coming from Colorado. The bugs were annoying but not terrible.
It's a great stopping point to stretch your legs and let your pet go for a small walk... If you have one

As you can see from my photo, this is a pretty nice spot in the autumn. It's a nice spot no matter what, but it was particularly nice when we were there in late October.

I don't really know how you can review spots on the BRP. This is your standard BRP turn-off for a view. There is plenty of parking. The view is worth seeing.

Nice pull off with a view.

Beautiful pull off! The pull offs on the blue ridge parkway are less numerous in the virginia portion of the BRP than in North Carolina, but every pull off is worth it!

So very gorgeous and peaceful at this spot. Loved every minute of it! Not to mention the drive is phenomenal!!

We drove the entire Blue Ridge Parkway with exception of 2 detours. Just about every inch of it was beautiful spring flowers and gorgeous views.

A great spot for a picnic or hike!

The area was kept clean.. views are amazing. Only wish my phone took great pictures because these do not do the overlook any justice.

Beautiful stop to see the view of God's creations. Mountain's were gorgeous and peaceful. The air seemed cool and clean.
