Armistead Boothe Park

This little treasure of a park is a great way to mentally escape and enjoy the great outdoors. It seemed like the paths went on forever! This is a place where I could walk all day and not have a care in the world. Our hiking group walked about 4.3 miles around the loop and even though it was hot, it was an enjoyable time. We saw geese, turtles, beautiful flowers, and a variety of birds as we meandered our way through the city on the obscure trails. I had no idea these walkways were so close to areas I drive around almost everyday! These trails make up one HUGE park system and I look forward to exploring the area again.

My kids absolutely loved this playground! New equipment and lots too do for all ages (i.e. swings, slides, climbing structures, sensory areas)! I also loved that the park had plenty of green space, picnic tables and bathrooms right next to the playground.

Great playground to spend a good quality time with kids. Very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is currently closed for the winter. I see lots of kids in all ages having fun there. There are some benches, a pavillion, and a few charcoal grills with picnic tables available.
Avoid wearing shoes that can damage the ground. Parking is free in the lot next to the park.

Very cute park, we love coming here. The only downside is that there always seems to be some kids that are too rough, and unsupervised. Since there is a BBQ area and picnic shelter, I think that’s it many times the parents are distracted and don’t see what their kid is doing. As long as you keep a close eye on your kid; it’s a wonderful park.

It's a nice clean family park

Definitely a place to bring your children to have fun. Basketball and Tennis courts. Place to grill food and have cookout. Two separate play grounds. Tall trees if you like to sit in shade. Difference ethnicity from ethiopian/Eritrean, Afghanistan, white, African American, latino etc.

Fun park with bathroom and actually two playgrounds one on each side it has Tennis Basketball Baseball field kid friendly and grills as well to cook it also has a big field to chill under trees if needed. But only thing is at times it need to washed down and pre clean other then that it's a cool playground.

Lots of benches for parents to sit on, one covered picnic area that is available for booking. Playground is great, variety of fun things and wide enough for many kids to run around. There is a restroom

My son enjoys this park. I love the safety of the cork ground.

It is a great park. It has lots of unique equipment that you don't see at your typical park. They have a rubberized outdoor play area. It's perfect park for little ones learning to walk, rambunctious toddlers, or even your know it all 7 year olds.

Kinda Small but has a good spots for playing pokemon. About 5 stops and a gym. Plenty of playground, basketball hoops and some tennis courts along with a baseball field in the back.

Excellent place for children to play from 6 months to 10. There are other parks around as well as walking trails. They have a grill area with a canopy. It's the perfect place for a family reunion.

One of our favorite parks. Especially good for younger kids, with swings and plenty of space for running. It is not fenced on all sides but far enough from road that it's not too worrisome. Public restroom and picnic shelter as well as a few grills are available.

This is a quiet little park that is off the beaten path and is great for kids to run around and expend energy. Swings, ladders, slides and a large playground that is suitable for toddlers to young kids. There is also space to grill out and have a picnic, and athletic fields and tennis courts are available for use.

Great playground. One side for under 5, and has another for elementary kids. Active kids can climb a jungle gym made up of 3 different monkey bars.

The best place to have fun with kids. We usually take our baby to this park and she really enjoys the time there. We even celebrated our baby's baby shower party here with more than 30 ppl.
