This pharmacy has the nicest people and are so on top of it. They were extremely helpful! I had not had to get medication for our beloved pet before and they were patient, informative, and so kind during a stressful time. When we needed a refill they walked us through the process easily. If we need them again, we will definitely choose this location. So appreciative!

Not only are the staff incredibly kind and helpful, but they also provide an incredible service to all of the pet owners out there who need compounded medications for our smallest family members. I have now used this pharmacy for 2 of my pets to obtain lifesaving heart medication as well as critical pain management medication and really cannot say enough about how thankful I am to have access to Alexandria Compounding Pharmacy's services. What an amazing pharmacy! They really go above and beyond to make the experience easy and pleasant. I’ve been getting my dog’s meds compounded for 5 years, first using Wedgewood and then a local pharmacy in my old hometown. I’d resigned myself to the idea that it’s impossible to get compounded meds without a huge headache. The experience at Alexandria was eye opening. Within 2 days I had both of my dog’s meds; they called as soon as they received the prescriptions from my vet, asked me how I wanted them flavored, and then got them ready quickly and called me to let me know I could pick them up. The staff was so friendly and helpful when I went in. Just a completely different experience than I’ve had with other pharmacies. Highly recommend!

I love Alexandria Compounding Pharmacy!! I have been recommending them for my clients for years. When my own dog needed compounded medication, they were the first place I thought of. Helpful, friendly, meds always on time! I even got my covid vaccine there!! Keep up the good work.

Very courteous and helpful folks - we just lost our fifteen year old kitty that was on many heart and thyroid medications, they were always quick and helpful. They even called to ask his preferred flavoring.

I have to have my cat's medicine specially compounded and the folks at this pharmacy are great. The refills are easy to order and are always ready on time. Parking for pickups is easy since they are located on the circle for the hotel next door. Never a big deal to pull in and park for 5 minutes!

The customer service here is the ABSOLUTE BEST I have experienced in Virginia of anywhere.. not limiting this to just pharmacies.. my doctor's office got these confused because of the address ( the name was not changed). These guys couldn't help me fill a prescription, but instead they called me Docs office, had them send the prescription to another pharmacy, and had them change my permanent pharmacy as well. If I ever need compounding pharmacy services, this is where I'll go. They are the absolute best!

My cat, who is like a child, was refusing to eat food or pill pockets because of her heart condition and we were desperate for a liquid form of her meds. ACP filled the prescriptions for me with less than two hours notice before they closed on a Friday because they knew I was desperate to help my kitty feel better. They helped make a stressful situation better, and provided a little peace of mind.

Only place around that had the meds my rabbit needed and I got to choose a flavor to mix in the bottle. They were out of stock on my first flavor choice but they have so many options it wasnt an issue (maple was first choice, settled for apple). Because of the flavor mix-in my pet thinks his medicine is a treat and takes it willingly!

Friendly. Personal. Helpful. A real person calls you when they receive your doctor's prescription, not an automated call. They inquire about health reason for prescription and educate you to ensure your drug combinations and use are safe. Feels like what I guess the main street drugstore might have been like 60 years ago, or what it's like today in Europe. It's a drive for me, but if you want safe, knowledgeable, caring and sterile compounding, this is the place. Easy to find if you look for the Sheraton. Pull into the Sheraton circular drive. Pharmacy entrance is at 11:00 on the circle. I believe there is a parking garage connected. If it's a quick pick up or a friend or Uber brought you, can pull over in circle for a minute or two with no problem. Otherwise, garage or street parking should do.

This place is excellent for getting prescriptions compounded for your pet (like flavored liquids, transdermal cremes for thyroid medicine). They should have better prices on Ringers lactated solution for subcutaneous fluids than your vet probably changes.

The pharmacy has a new owner she is amazing I have never seen anyone go above and beyond for the patients not only has she lowered the prices she also donates monthly to the animal shelters and rescue groups, the turn around time for compounded medication is within hours which is unheard of in the compounding world if you haven’t been to this pharmacy you need to it’s amazing the staff is so friendly and all greet you with a smile

Made me feel like family, love how the pharmacy took the time to answer all my questions. Fedah really is fantastic! Thank you for being here for us!
