I met with Fernando the day after my mom’s death. I liked his calm, empathetic and informative manner and he guided me through the decisions that needed to be made for her burial without any pressure. The funeral went off perfectly and Fernando also ordered a clear blue sky. I would highly recommend Mount Comfort.

I wanted to say thank you to Sunny! She was an absolute professional, who is very personable, empathetic, and an overall great person to work with. As difficult as it was to say good bye to my beautiful mom, Sunny's presence helped create piece in knowing we were in the right hands.
The whole team was amazing, and the gentleman at the graveside that assisted lowering my mom's casket showed true respect.
Sunny even did a follow up call to ensure we were all doing ok. That kind of grace will not be forgotten!
The day was frigid, but everyone made us feel warm with love. Thank you again Sunny, and to the rest of the Mount Comfort team! God bless you all.

Making the call to Mount Comfort was one I never thought I would make but when Sunny answered the phone, it was almost like a sigh of relief. I explained to her my Mom had gained her wings and immediately she gave compassion and comfort. She helped through the process and even went above and beyond on everything to make sure my Mom had the very best. She even did a followup call to check on our family afterwards. We also have many family members, now including my Mom laid to rest in Mount Comfort and Mr. Nate and his crew always make sure everything is fresh and beautiful. We cannot thank you all enough for all you do.

Very nice staff, the cemetery grounds are very big and well kept up. My family has had very good experiences with 3 of our loved one there, who have passed.

My family has 3 spaces at the indoor chapel. My brother has been in his space for 22 years. I visit occasionally here over the 22 years and the management is always welcoming and friendly, especially Reggie and Sunny. The cemetery grounds are very lovely and have been greatly improved over the years. Highly recommend to all. June 2023

Mount Comfort has beautiful garden grounds and the staff are caring, friendly, and efficient. They made what can be a stressful and overwhelming experience easy and efficient, and they are caring and professional. Ed Kastner is wonderful to work with.

Ms. Foertsch at Mount Comfort Cemetery has provided exceptional service educating and helping me with the process and paperwork to transfer equity for our family burial sites at Mount Comfort to Dignity Memorial funeral and cremation facilities in other states where my family members now live. I would not have known that this was even an option if she had not told me. I greatly appreciate her exceptional and professional service.

On a recent visit I noticed my uncle's grave marker had been broken. We brought it to the attention of the staff and they very promptly had proofs for a new marker for us to approve. It was quickly replaced and I cannot express how kind the care takers/staff were to my family during the process.

I buried my young son at Mount Comfort Cemetery in 2011. After many years his gravestone had sunken into the ground. I visited the office to see if anything could be done about it and to my surprise not only was something possible, it was free of charge. The cemetery raised and leveled his gravestone despite it being originally installed by an outside vendor. On top of this, they texted me pictures once done and confirmed it had been taken care of. I want to thank the cemetery for their kind action and for helping to fix my son's gravestone. It meant the world to me and my family. Thank you for caring.

My mother passed away in Florida this past January and we had her brought to Mt. Comfort where most of her family was buried. We had excellent, tireless service from the staff, especially James Tomlin and Reggie Melvin, who ensured that her final resting place was well attended to. Thank you for giving us comfort at this time.

All of my family is buried in this cemetery, my mother in 1983, my twin in 1984, my great grandparent and grandmother. I’ve had nothing, from what I recall wonderful experience with them. Each time I had a question about my mothers grave, and this was last year, from 1983 the service and care was outstanding. Very polite, very speedy response and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I’ve read many of the reviews and I am shocked and very saddened by the experience because that is not the Mount Comfort I’ve dealt with all my life. From the age of 4 till 42 I have NEVER had one bad experience!! I am sorry those experiences happened but maybe they were made to sound worse than what they really were! This Cemetery has went above and beyond to work with me, even while I was 5 states away mind you, that the staff who work there really care!!

Great service given the circumstances. David is professional and understanding of the situation and is a very genuine person to deal with in such a hard situation.

My wife Louella unfortunately passed away recently, and despite my grief, I found some relief from working with Cristina Avila in Mt. Comfort Cemetery who patiently listened to my requests and made sure that I could make the best memorial for my wife. She helped me look for the most meaningful emblems and worked around my long passage to fit perfectly in the memorial. Cristina never showed any signs of laziness or resentfulness every time I called her to make some changes to the memorial. In the end, the memorial came out the way our family like it. Thank you, Cristina, you have been most generous of your time and very helpful.

We misplaced my father's Cremation Certificate and Regina was so very kind and helpful. She researched and was able to help my mom and I very quickly. Thank you so much, Regina!!

Very professional with personal care. Our arrangements were handled over the phone as we live in another state. Funeral arrangements are always painful, yet Mike Lamarra was SO kind. We had an outdoor, graveside service with temps in the 90's. (Mt.. Comfort supplied bottled water for our guests). We had suggested no ties or jackets for the guys. Mike attended to us from start to finish, nicely dressed in a suit and tie (trooper).
But more importantly, he handled every detail with compassion. He even commented on how lovely our family's comments were about my Mother.

My mother, Emma Sue Poole, passed away on June 26, 2020. She was buried along side my Daddy on July 3, 2020, in Mount Comfort Cemetery. I cannot Express how wonderful we were treated by Nudia, and the other employees. Nudia took special care of all our needs, and made Mom's burial easier. The four workers that carried her casket to the site, and later placed her in the grave, were beyond wonderful. We praise them all. The Cemetery is a wonderful place to be layed to rest.

I would highly recommend Mount Comfort Cemetery's staff. Reggie went above and beyond to help me with an inquiry. I was so pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful he and everyone in the office was with taking care of me and my grandfather.. I believe you are in good hands.

They truly are the best. My brother died unexpectedly and I didn’t have any experience in funeral homes. I found Mt Comfort Cemetery Funeral Services & Chapel online and that same day I was able to meet with the manager David.

Their packages were simple and very straightforward. No hidden fees like the other funeral homes. David was very empathetic, professional and sweet during the entire planning process. I highly recommend him, he is like a friend a friend to me now.

I recommend to skip over the big chains and go straight to Mount Comfort Cemetery Services. Their employees are wonderful and professional, the chapel is beautiful and there isn’t any pressure. This is what you need when you are dealing with an unexpected death in the family.
