Ron and his staff always take care of our vehicles. His prices are comparable to others shops but what he has going for him is the honesty in his work ethic. This extends beyond him and trickles down to his staff as well. They were very kind and transparent through the whole process. Their customer service is on point and I really like taking my cars here, you can't go wrong with them.

My car broke down and he figured out the problem took videos to show me what was going on and suggested the best options. He got my car running again and he went above and beyond to help me out! He even picked up my car and brought it back to my house at no extra charge! He is kind and honest! I would highly recommend him for any mechanical work. Also it’s a family owned business! Beyond 5 stars!!!

I can't say enough positive things about Tech 100. I worked with Ron and he was amazing! He definitely cares about what's best for the customer. Very honest in pricing and advice. For any major work I highly recommend them. Ron treated me very well, I had an appointment on Monday but an emergency occurred and he was able to get me in the next day. He was also able to finish the work before noon. Not that there was any rush. I am very happy with the service, and recommend him to anyone needing service on there vehicles.

Tech 100 is the best. Have been taking my car to him for over 15 years. Amazing mechanic. Also very honest. If he doesn't find anything wrong or it has to go to the dealer, he tells you.

The integrity and honesty of the great skill and work of the mechanics and owner of tech 100 I haven't seen in this industry. I Having been an industrial mechanic for over 30 years. They have fixed my vehicles of major problems and honest prices as well as great advice on a recent issue with my kia optima and getting the engine replaced with the kia issue has of engine knocking and its all under warranty. Honest advice and indepth knowledge of vehicles. I would advise anyone to go there for help with car issues and engine problems.

We have been taking our cars to Ron since before he opened this location. You can't ask for a better more honest person. He will tell you like it is, won't promise anything he can't deliver and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are getting the service you need.

Ron has helped me with two different vehicles and has always done a great job! I do not know a lot about cars at all and I have been able to rely on Ron to tell me the truth about what is going on. Most recently my sonata was getting new tires and an alignment at big o. They wouldn’t do the alignment because they said tire rod was going out. I took it to Tech 100 and it turns out it was just a bolt that was loose. Ron saved me a lot of money and I appreciate his knowledge and honesty.

He is also a very professional and effective communicator, I always knew what was going on with the the cars.

Update: two years later and I am still going to Ron. He has not let me down. He's like family. He will give you the lowest price and most honest opinions.

5/1/21- I have since moved out of Utah 3 years ago, but drive back a few times a year to see family. If at all possible I still save any vehicle issues to be seen by Ron at Tech 100. He's the best I've found in the western United States. If you have not gone to see him you are missing out on great deals, honest communication and a long time trust worthy relationship with your mechanic. I will forever go to him first, even if I have to drive from states away.

Ron is great! After taking my car to another mechanic in Layton. Shady tree, they called me and wanted 1000 to replace two sensors. The list of suggestions kept growing. Final quote was 3000. I called Ron at Tech 100 and asked him how much these repares should cost. Sensors were A 300 repair. I got my car and dropped it off at tech 100. It was ready the next day. Ron replaced the sensors and all the other things Shady tree quoted for $900. He is honest and a great mechanic. If you are looking for a mechanic in Layton check out Tech 100.

Ron is the owner. He is an amazing dude. He has done a lot of work on my old gmc 1998 truck. Such as the Intake manifold , catalytic converter, and some sensors. He also does my required maintenance every 3000 miles now! I’m really glad I found him, his prices are fair. He guaranteed his work and the truck runs better then when I bought it. I’d recommend him for any Vehicle work or maintenance if you want the job done right!

A good friend recommended Ron and Tech 100 to us when we were new to Davis Co. and needed a good mechanic; we found Ron to be a GREAT mechanic! We were so impressed with Tech 100 and their staff. They were attentive to our needs, spent time to explain options and stood behind all the work they did on our vehicle. Ron looked over our car at my request. We had been in Italy for 3 years with essentially no maintenance, and I was concerned that, at 136,000 miles suspension and steering components might need attention. He and Lloyd gave the vehicle a thorough going-over, and pronounced everything shipshape. No charge. What a pleasant change from shops who seem to “find” needed repairs when no work is required. I’ll be back for sure, and recommend this shop to neighbors and friends.

Ron has been great in working with both of our cars. He gives fair and honest prices and does a great job with the repairs. He's easy to get a hold of and is quick with the repairs.

Straight forward and fair. I have felt with a lot of bad experiences with mechanics and shops. Ron was completely different. He was straight up and honest. I didn’t feel like he was hiding anything or trying to benefit himself. He told things as they were and I left happy and the Jeep runs great. This will be the only place I call from now on.

Ron is an honest and great mechanic! I've never had a bad experience! He fixed our car faster than anticipated and way below what the dealership said they were going to charge!

Ron usually gets me in pretty quick. And other than major repairs I'm usually in and out pretty quickly as well.
Today he took care of my emissions test and registration and applied my new stickers on the spot. (He even took the time to peel off a bunch of the old stickers)
His prices are always fair and very competitive.
I have been going to Ron since my move up from St George 3 and 1/2 years ago.

Ron takes care of me and my Saturn every time. He replaced my engine in a day on short notice for an unbeatable price and got me back on the road again. That was over 3 years and 50k miles ago. My Saturn's still running like a champ and will eventually hit 300k miles thanks to Ron.
I HIGHLY recommend.
