Zoe's Sweet Kitchen

This is my first time at this cute neighborhood diner. Staff is super friendly and food is delicious. We came for brunch, and it did not disappoint!

I have only been to Zoe's Kitchen twice because I don't live close by. But I would frequent Zoe's for baked goods often. The first time I went in was at the end of the day, so the shelves were not as full as earlier in the day. But, that was no problem because there were still great options to try. Sometimes I eat gluten free, so I tried one blueberry muffin, and one other muffin I can't remember the name. But, Omgg, they honestly were both so moist and delicious! Especially being gluten free. They were a nice big size. The blueberry was PACKED with fresh berries, and the other one (maybe coffee cake or pumpkin? Sorry...) had the topping swirled throughout the muffin, so, it wasn't just on the top. That was unique. I loved it! I will update this if I can find out the exact muffin. I also had a slice of bread pudding (NOT gluten free) that came with a sauce! OKAY, if you love bread pudding, this is it. If you take it to go, be sure to warm up the sauce and pour, or dip your bread pudding. But heating it is key. It changes it when it's warm - it becomes more burttery and flavorsome. The slice of bread pudding is a perfect texture....not soft and mushy, but more solid, but still very moist and satisfying chew. Its the perfect sweetness, like, mildly sweet so that the sauce compliments it with a perfect balance sweet-wise. It's filling, so don't be worried if you don't get a giant piece. It will be enough. I tried carrot cake!!YESS! It will satisfy your sweet tooth...it is sweet, as its supposed to be...and your love for carrot cake will be rewarded. It was a nice heaviness with lots of goodies inside. The second time I went to Zoe's, I tried a BEAUTIFUL pink and red velvet cake!! It's honestly sooo pretty, and it tastes as good as it looks! I will include a photo of the slice, but it doesn't do it justice. In the photo, it's traveled home and got knocked around (flew off the seat at a stop light, lol) but you will see the colors. The pink cake is a bit lighter and fluffier in texture than the red velvet layer, which is heavier, being the true red velvet layer. The icing is very light and fluffy, and MAY have cream cheese, but I'm not sure. If its there, its super subtle. But the cake is so lovely visually and in taste. Its super girlie 💓 and my husband loved it too!! I haven't been so happy over a piece of cake in a long time. I also tried a bar that had a coconut topping, tons of soft chocolate chips, maybe caramel and nuts?? And a Graham cracker base. I will.post a photo. THIS is for your wildest sweet tooth craving. Its solid, but surprisingly soft. I though the chocolate chips would have hardened, but they transformed into a luscious chocolate layer. The whole bite is satisfying, and buttery with the crust. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I met Zoe on my first visit. She is AMAZING!!! This is her 5th year with the shop. It's survived covid, hurricane Ian, hurricane Dalia, and other unforseen events. The staff I met on my second visit were as friendly and warm as Zoe. So not only is the baking clearly made with love and care, but the staff is also filled with love, and they seem to genuinely care about making customers feel great :) Thank you Zoes Sweet Kitchen!! They serve sit down restaurant-style menu service as well, like breakfast etc., but I haven't done that yet.

Great breakfast, coffee, and service. Annie was wonderful. I had the best quiche I have ever had so thanks Zoe! And my husband loved his waffles. We always appreciate good coffee.

It was our first visit and fell in love with our server. The bacon/spinach quiche was to die for,and my side of fresh fruit was delicious! We will go back!

Zoe took us as a SUPER short notice 2 days before my son’s birthday, and she did AMAZING on them. The absolute sweetest woman and employees. It’s a super cute place. The cupcakes and cake were delicious. Will be using again.

What a super cute little diner. It was hands down the best breakfast I've had out to eat in a long time! I ordered the Greek omelet, it was so fluffy, and dad enjoyed the western omelet. Large portions, decent prices. There is even real maple syrup as an option, fresh fruit, homemade bakery items, and gelato. They have breakfast bevys, Bloody Mary, Mimosas, and a few drafts on tap, too. I can imagine that you can't go wrong with whatever you order. Very friendly customer service. A must try in Port Charlotte! Live, love local, and support small businesses.
One small suggestion, please stop one-time use items that pollute our environment, Styrofoam, plastic straws, and bags. Let's help keep Florida and America green.

Amazing breakfast! A true hidden gem in the area! In my opinion, this place beats out all chain breakfast spots! The staff are warm, welcoming, kind, and personable. I’ll definitely be returning and making this my go to spot! The place sells lunch as well, and with how high the bar was set with breakfast, I’m sure they’ll deliver on that end too!

This place is amazing!! We were at Bob Evans, which is across the street, waited 40 min to be seated, then waited another 15 min and still hadn't had our order taken, so we left. I'm so glad we did. The servers here are so knowledgeable about everything they offer. They are a restaurant, a bakery, and have beer on tap. This place is like heaven! I had their iced mocha latte and the kitchen breakfast bowl. Hubby had their American breakfast. This is now our go-to for Sunday mornings. And we took two Smore's cupcakes to go. Can't wait to try them!!

My son who loves this cafe introduced me here. I absolutely love the food and truly enjoy the very friendly staff. We have been here several times since and always look forward to the next visit. All the food is freshly made and we have never been disappointed. Highly recommend this cutie cafe!!!!

I wanted a pink velvet birthday cake this year so my husband talked to Zoe about it a few daysbeforemy birthday.....she'd never made one before but asked for his phone number in case she had questions or couldn't do it. The cake he showed up with today was absolutely exquisitely decorated, I almost cried when I first tasted it. I LOVE pink velvet cakes, they are so different from red velvet, which I also love. Zoe, thank you for giving me the most wonderful cake for my birthday today! No one in our dinner party had ever eaten pink velvet and everyone loved it! You made my birthday so memorable, I can't thank you enough--until I have you make a blue velvet cake for my husband ❤

Charming eatery open for breakfast and lunch. Very friendly staff. Offers dine-in and take-out. Features fabulous baked goods including specialized cakes and other items. Varied menu offering something for everyone. If you split an entree with a friend, expect an additional fee. Otherwise, food is exceptionally tasty and well worth the trip!

Zoe's Sweet Kitchen is a must go to place everytime I'm in North Port. The food including the breakfast menu, pastries, etc are all excellent and all homemade. We had omelettes and the quiche which was just amazing made with a real quiche crust. The staff is very friendly and the place is is very comfortable. They even have a liquor license if that's important to you. I rarely write reviews and I highly recommend Zoe's - and say hello to Zoe yourself when you visit.

We ended up here last minute for Mothers Day and I’m so happy we did; not only was the food amazing (definitely try “The 96”) but the place itself is adorable and even better, the staff is kind and HARD WORKING. When we got there they were already busy but the place just kept filling up even more and I’m pretty sure they only had two front staff to run the take outs, bar, serve and manage the bakery area. There was just a bit of a wait to get a table but drinks were ordered right away and our food shortly after. It did take a minute for the food to come but it was not because they weren’t trying, you could tell the whole staff was doing everything they could on a busy day being short staffed. Food was awesome, good sized portions and good prices. They do also have wine and beer and the mimosas were delicious! To top it off they gave roses to every mom which was super sweet. If you like supporting small businesses don’t miss out on this one. 10/10.

My husband and I went to zoe's today for breakfast for the first time and we were both blown away with everything! Service was excellent, friendly and quick! Very clean and chic cafe with top quality delicious food and beverages. We will definitely be returning

What an adorable little breakfast & lunch spot! Little hidden gem, perfect for a first date or lunch with mum. The service was amazing, quaint place with fresh coffees, homemade desserts and pastry, wonderful sandwiches and American fare. Will definitely return!

We've driven by here so many times and finally went in for breakfast. Zoe's has a great menu, it was hard to choose! I had an omelet, my husband had quiche. both were really good, and the home fries were perfectly crispy! Had to look at the bakery case and got a bar for later. We will definitely be back!

This is such an awesome, amazing place to eat. Also you REALLY have to check out the bakery side as well.

Ate lunch here. Hard to see the place as it's so close to the road and always lots of traffic. Make the stop and you will be rewarded with wonderful fare. They have some adult beverages, and a light menu. You'll be glad to have stopped.

First time coming to this restaurant. Initial appearance is very cozy, inviting and clean. The menu is fairly deep, quite a selection. The "Zoe's Sweet Breakfast Sandwich" is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended to try and come back to check other menu items.
