Butler Elementary School

I attended Butler 48 years ago. Ms. R. Miller was my Teacher. Wonderful Memories!

This is a great school and I highly recommend parents letting their children learn here*!*!*2012*!*!*

You have some teachers here that care and others that don't. My main issue is that it's impossible to enjoy lunch with your kids. It's not the other students but it's the staff yelling on a microphone telling the kids to be quiet. kids are allowed to talk at lunch. I leave with a headache every time I go eat lunch with my kids.

Worst not best. I enrolled my children based off the web ratings. This is not 48 years ago, and not 2 years ago, this is now. The amount of teachers there who actually care can be counted on one hand. The behind the scenes staff are rude and inconsiderate. This school is one of the worst I've seen in the south so far. Lot's of bullied children, and a lot of the childrens parents care less than the teachers, which makes the bad behavior and violence worse. My children have gone from positive to negative quickly learning from their peers, and the lack of mediation from staff, at this school that this behavior is acceptable. The receptionist and information specialist are great, they are the only good part of the school.
